02/01/2026: The service was very average, with a manager who was extremely unpleasant in his manner of speaking to customers. His arrogance was such that I won't be returning... the food was of average quality...
02/01/2026: A tourist restaurant for a quick lunch, neither excellent nor infamous. Prices are in line with other restaurants, the ingredients are decent, and it's not clear whether they're fresh or frozen, but we can tell that the calamari and squid were frozen the day we tried it. The mussels are recommended. Friendly staff.

22/03/2026: An attractive restaurant with a sunny terrace, but the service is a disaster.
The seafood isn't served fresh, and the mussels are served with a "plate" of fries (well, it's not really a plate, since there are only three fries chasing each other). Expect at least a two-hour wait for service. The staff is incompetent, the service is slow, the waiters don't know the tables, and the restrooms are filthy and poorly maintained.
Avoid this place.
19/03/2026: We had paella and steak toro both were very good.
The service was nice and on point.
This place deserves more stars.

22/03/2026: The seafood gratin was excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The pizzas are good too. The service is friendly. And the price is very reasonable.
08/01/2026: A superb discovery!
The food is excellent, the owner is lovely, and we were delighted to discover this restaurant. The owner has only been there since June, but we plan to go often because the food was high quality and the prices very reasonable.
A truly wonderful find! The bull stew is absolutely divine.

After a long wait to be seated, we were rebuffed by the waiter in our section: "Who seated you there? Show me the waiter who seated you there. You don't just sit down like that!" Unbelievable!
05/01/2026: In the resorts, many restaurants are closed in winter, which is a real shame for the locals. Chez Boisset is a Saintes institution; the food is excellent, and there's live music even out of season. I've always had a great time there, and the servers are very friendly and, above all, professional. This restaurant could easily cater to transient customers, but it doesn't. I highly recommend it.

04/03/2026: A little gem discovered during our walk. The friendly, helpful, and attentive owners of this small, up-and-coming tapas bar deserve to be better known.
22/02/2026: We had a wonderful time on the small terrace of L'Heure Bleue. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, and the service is attentive. The tasty tapas are perfect for sharing, and the homemade sweets are a delight. A nice bonus is that everything can be enjoyed there or taken away, which is very convenient for trying everything, as it's quite difficult to choose between the marvelous banana bread and the irresistible marble cake.

08/12/2024: A truly beautiful establishment where you will find a beautiful atmosphere and refinement on the plate
Ideally located at the western entrance to the village facing the port, it is the place to be for an excellent evening with festive kindness. No opinion on the rooms, I have never stayed there but everything is there to make me say that it must be perfect
08/12/2024: A super friendly welcome, the staff are really attentive to our needs, the meals are really excellent, the spacious and typical rooms with a very nice view.
We are really delighted with our little stay.

21/11/2024: The superb and quite hearty Gardianne of bull is really not expensive, 16 Euros. All other restaurants. Including the one opposite at least 20% more. Service and sympathy in addition....
4 people dishes + drinks 80th.
11/11/2024: Very warm welcome, friendly staff, fresh product, very reasonable price. I recommend with your eyes closed.

17/09/2024: excellent fresh fish dishes, but they don't joke with the barbecue either! everything was excellent, easy entry for those in wheelchairs. kindness, courtesy and cleanliness are not lacking. the bathroom is accessible, maximum attention to cleanliness.
11/09/2024: Great discovery, regular at Les Saintes, I had not yet tried this establishment, and well I was not disappointed. Very pleasant welcome, typical setting, delicious local bottarga, and local sea bass cooked pearly as requested, a treat.

12/09/2024: Depuis 2016 nous venons ici tout est parfait chambre au top propre nickel et alors au niveau restauration j’ai pas les mots excellent n’est pas assez une tuerie et bien sûr Mon Aurelie Mon rayon de soleil des saintes nous remercions aussi son Mari Stéphane Merci on est requinqué pour l’année on va réservé de bonne heure pour être sur d’avoir notre chambre on vous kiff (le moelleux fondant ) et Marie ❤️💙
22/08/2024: Hôtel très propre avec une équipe on ne peut plus sympathique et souriante, toujours prête à vous rendre service!
