02/03/2026: I'd spotted this restaurant on Google Maps beforehand. What a great idea! We had a pitcher of sangria here; it was a little spicy but delicious. We also ordered the charcuterie platter, which was incredible, and the croquettes were also very good. A truly flawless experience that earns this place a spot on our list of favorites! Bravo!

10/11/2025: I stumbled upon this tapas restaurant that served after 9 pm. It's worth noting that in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, in winter, it's difficult to find a restaurant still serving after 9 pm. The service from the grandmother is excellent. The atmosphere is friendly, and even if everything isn't homemade, the value is still good. I ended up going two nights in a row. A very good place.

03/05/2026: A wonderful stay at this hotel, with attentive and friendly staff! The hotel is beautiful and intimate, and the restaurant was delicious and plentiful. We also tried the spa, a true haven of peace.

03/05/2026: Received by the owner this Thursday after a sleepless night with two children. At 1 p.m., there was no one at reception or in the restaurant. I called out, "Is anyone there?" A brunette woman arrived at the desk. I smiled and told her there was no one at the hotel. "Not at this hour," she replied. "Besides, your room isn't ready. Come back at 2:30 p.m. We told you check-in is at 3 p.m." "I'll do you a favor by letting you in at 2:30 p.m." The welcome was worthy of a government-run hotel! As for the rest: no towels at the pool. I went to the desk and ran into the same woman again. She told me, "I'll lend you towels, but you have to bring them back here. Don't leave them at the pool. It's not even peak season yet..." In short, a 4-star hotel, but the owner should be working at Fresnes prison.

02/03/2026: 2 hours and 10 minutes for a starter, main course, and coffee... definitely only order one course because once the starter is served (quickly), you're hooked and the long wait begins... Otherwise, apart from one waitress who absolutely must find another job, they're friendly... liars like they're tooth-pullers – "It's coming right away, sir!!!" – but friendly! A bit pricey for what it is. 🤔

03/01/2026: Superb restaurant overlooking the harbor. A delight! The cuisine is refined, the menu is excellent, and it also includes vegetarian options. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. A must-try!

05/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome. Even our small dogs were offered water without us having to ask. They were very accommodating regarding dietary preferences (vegetarians). The meals were excellent. The service was friendly and attentive.

17/03/2026: We had lunch here today at a very well-located restaurant with a very kind and spontaneous owner. I love people who go the extra mile for their customers and take the time to make their presence known. The quality-price ratio is excellent; it's top-notch. Try the bull steak, a real treat with a generous portion. I highly recommend it... Thank you for this very pleasant break. (The picky one: a small coffee in a large cup...)

08/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! Despite it being the off-season, the welcome was exceptionally warm. We were served promptly in a friendly atmosphere with local accents and colors, which immediately immersed us in the region's ambiance. The bull stew was excellent, full of flavor and very authentic. A real treat. A small detail that made all the difference: with our coffee, the waiter brought us a small slice of raisin flan. A thoughtful and much-appreciated touch that demonstrates the restaurant's hospitality.

22/10/2025: We spent 14 days in Saintes Maries and ate 13 times at this wonderful, simple restaurant. We had fish or seafood every evening, which was amazing. The value for money is absolutely spot on. The service is friendly, fast, and courteous. One thing is for sure: we'll be back. Many thanks to the chef and his fantastic team.

26/10/2025: The two ladies who run the restaurant are pleasant and accommodating! Great value for money. There were eight of us, and we loved everything from the main course to the desserts and drinks. Beautiful decor and a great time.

Everything is made with love and passion, and you can taste it in every dish. The food is 100% homemade, generous, and bursting with flavor. The cocktails are incredible, perfectly balanced, and carefully crafted. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. You can really see that behind this place, there's a genuine desire to please. I highly recommend it! 👌🔥

06/04/2026: Very disappointed. We waited a very long time before being served. New arrivals were served before us, and each time the waitress said, "I'll be right back." The seafood salad was good, as was the cuttlefish. However, the mussel casseroles were practically empty. We only got 1 out of 5. After complaining as we were leaving, we were told we had to ask for more. It would be good to mention this when the pot is delivered.

05/04/2026: We had a very long wait before being served, and I was very disappointed by the mussels, which were conspicuously absent. It would have been better to mention that we could have asked for more, especially with the bill only two minutes away... so we decided to have dessert elsewhere... too bad, and a shame for the restaurant, which is losing customers because, coming from Nîmes, we'll go somewhere else next time...

12/04/2026: The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Points were deducted for the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, and the pitches could be better maintained. It's a very good starting point for exploring the nature reserve with its many flamingos. The town center is also within easy walking distance, which is a plus. The town itself is very touristy and not particularly attractive. The beach isn't well-maintained either. However, we were there over Easter, so it was the off-season. It's also a shame that many dog ​​owners don't keep their dogs on leashes, resulting in frequent dog messes on the beach and promenade. But the campsite can't be held responsible for that.

09/04/2026: Located on the beachfront, but with a view of plastic waste and insulation mats in the hedge. Our pitch was littered with trash, and all for €48 per night. The location itself is very good, right on the beach and a 5-minute walk from town.

05/04/2026: Please note that this is the first time I've written a review, but I really had to. Absolutely outrageous. For €23, a fish (sole) weighing a maximum of 150g. No side dish, not even a little rice, a quarter of a lemon, no salt, no sauce, nothing. Steamed fish... no taste whatsoever for supposedly fresh fish. Is the fish even fresh? I doubt it. The sardines are frozen sardine fillets, rubbery and tasteless (tasteless sardines??? How is that even possible?). The waiter refused my credit card. Perhaps he should be worried about being audited... and when I explained that his dish was shameful, he refused to listen and brushed me off. Outrageous, shameful, extremely expensive for what was on the plate, I repeat, with no side dish and, above all, no taste whatsoever for supposedly fresh fish. Paying that much for that... for a full meal for one person, expect to pay at least €50 plus €20 for McDonald's afterwards because you'll be hungry. €40 for a starter and a piece of fish... a word to the wise.

11/11/2025: We ate at Mama Sita. We had a wonderful evening. The portions were very generous. The gizzard appetizer was delicious. The Fisherman's Stew was excellent, filled with prawns, sea bream fillet, mussels, potatoes, and served with croutons and a delicious rouille sauce. Homemade desserts were also available. We loved it and highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much, and see you soon!
