17/07/2026: NEGATIVE We came as a party of six for dinner: - FRESHNESS: There was a bad smell of uneaten seafood once on the plate, and the color of many other foods showed a lack of freshness, even the green salad... - FLAVOR: As regulars, we ordered dishes we usually order. We really didn't enjoy it. - VALUE FOR MONEY: A €21.90 buffet that wasn't worth it. The restrooms weren't clean, and the faucets were broken... The change of ownership explains all these issues. We won't be back.

12/07/2026: A few months ago, this restaurant was truly excellent. I recently returned and, to my great surprise, found the quality had significantly declined. Some items appear to have been reworked, but the result is not good. I even noticed insects on the fruit and cheese, which is completely unacceptable. It's a shame, because it used to be so much better.

17/04/2026: I went to this store today to buy some Caribbean blood sausage for dinner. Huge disappointment. It was a disaster. See attached photos: far too much poorly mixed bread, lumps of breadcrumbs in the sausage, a horribly dense and bland texture. This was supposed to be a good place.

18/02/2026: Highly recommended. Excellent value for money. We enjoy it every time. The manager is very friendly and always helpful. It doesn't deserve the one-star rating given by the previous spoiled brat who came when it was closed 😉

20/05/2026: I treated myself to their crispy chicken and Shanghai cabbage soup tonight. A very good Chinese takeaway, classic but offering an interesting selection of dishes, all very fresh, finely prepared, and vegetables, including excellent stir-fried eggplant and slightly spicy stir-fried potatoes, perfect for a change from rice, noodles, and vermicelli, not to mention the delicate vegetable rice. The chef's grilled chicken and their Japanese white cabbage salad are among the finest I've tasted in the neighborhood so far. The place is spacious and very clean, as are the restrooms, and the staff is very friendly. The prices are very affordable for everyone, for such good quality.

21/07/2026: We ordered Peking duck white rice and roast pork white rice with char siu pork. I think the pork was even better than the duck. We also ordered chicken pad thai and hakau to take home. The pad thai tasted more like regular fried rice noodles, but it was delicious. The hakau was also decent. There's also a wide selection of fried snacks. I recommend it for those looking for tasty Asian food with fast service and a clean place.

11/07/2026: The cashier was incredibly unfriendly, and the banh mi bread was awful, whereas at other Tang Gourmet restaurants it's usually much better. This is my second time back, and the first time was the same experience. This time I was in a hurry and wanted to give the place another chance. Never again. In short, I don't recommend it.

03/08/2026: We went in the evening at 7 pm, a group of 6 adults and 1 child. It's a small restaurant with an uninviting storefront (not like the photos). There were very few choices, and even fewer dessert options, just a few cakes and ice creams, but that might be enough for some. The service was quick and the servers were very friendly 😄. All in all, it's a good restaurant for a casual evening out now and then, but I don't think I'll be going back myself.

02/08/2026: I came to this restaurant in Fréjus with my friends, and it was awful. We ordered cocktails from a waitress who spoke very poor French. We asked her a few questions, but she didn't answer because she apparently didn't understand anything. When I went to the restroom, the waitress came out too, without even washing her hands, and brought our drinks to the table. It was absolutely disgusting; I didn't even drink my drink. We were in shock. Even during our meal, the waitress was scratching her ear canal and continuing to serve us. The food itself was mediocre, and the heat was unbearable without air conditioning. Not recommended.

03/02/2026: The waitress was completely disrespectful. We arrived at 1:50 PM, the restaurant closed at 2:30 PM, and she told us we had to hurry because the cook had a dentist appointment. We ordered under pressure, and in the middle of our meal, she twice ordered us to eat quickly and therefore not to speak. She stared intently at us throughout our meal, and to top it all off, she let out a loud fart that was audible from the street. We were stunned! Furthermore, the food wasn't good at all. The restaurant was empty, and now we understand why. Don't go there.

23/04/2026: Having lived in Asia regularly for over 10 years, I wanted to introduce my partner to the culinary delights they offer. And once at the buffet, I was very surprised by the limited selection of dishes, and then by the poor quality of the food. There was a complete lack of ambiance or background music to transport us instantly from the Maurienne Valley to the Mekong Valley. I'm usually quite forgiving when things aren't great... but this was frankly awful! To top it off, my partner got sick...

03/02/2026: We were greeted with a smile and shown our table. As soon as we needed help, there's a section of raw seafood and meat that you can take to be cooked, they sweetly showed us where to go and how to proceed. Great array of hot food to choose from, which was topped up frequently, keeping it fresh and delicious. The cooked white fish with a delicate spice coating was incredible, had to go back for seconds. I started with sushi, prawns and calamari then moved on to noodles and special fried rice. Topping these with beef in black bean sauce, chicken curry, stir fried veg. Delighted to see Chinese black mushrooms and runner beans in a delicious sauce I couldn't place. The chicken and porc nem were great, two types of dim sum to choose from. Prawns in a sweet and sour sauce which wasn't too strong in flavour which I often find. For pudding I made myself a fruit salad with pineapple and lychee and a coconut water jelly which was surprisingly delicious too. They're peanut brittle is fantastic, they also had crystalised stem ginger and sesame Turkish delight as sweet treats to finish. Would definitely recommend a visit.

18/01/2026: This is the second time I've been extremely disappointed with the quality of the food! My pad thai must have been sitting there since at least the day before! Everything was dry and completely tasteless! We ordered €65 for three people; it's unacceptable to eat such poor-quality food at that price! I won't be ordering again and I don't recommend it!

01/08/2026: A wonderful lunch on the very cozy terrace, a vastly superior experience to the previous version of Lily Wang. Where do these completely undeserved negative reviews come from? Asian cuisine has rarely been so highly praised.

28/07/2026: I've been a customer at this restaurant for many years. I didn't expect to be so disappointed by the food. I ordered a chicken with basil that was tasteless, bland, poorly cooked, and even the presentation was disappointing. My friend had a bluefin tuna tartare, which was also very bland. Very disappointed, I don't know if I'll try it again after more than 10 years of loyalty.

28/01/2026: I strongly advise against going there. The chicken had a gelatinous, greasy texture and no taste, the shrimp were the same, and the rice wasn't good either. In short, we threw everything away! I saw the delivery, and everything arrives in boxes from China, including the Peking duck. Frankly, it wasn't appetizing at all. Last time I'll ever set foot in there. The service was terrible. Avoid at all costs.
