New China

04/04/2026: Delicious dishes and very pleasant service
02/04/2026: What a disappointment!
I was drawn in by the window display, what a mistake.
I ordered stir-fried noodles and chicken with black mushrooms, which were completely tasteless and far too salty.
I thought I was going to have a delicious meal, but no such luck!

15/03/2026: I used to go there often, but I won't be going back. The service is subpar and has been getting worse over time. In particular, one unfriendly waitress forced us to sit at a noisy table and refused us the table next to it for no good reason.
23/02/2026: Everything was delicious and cozy.

Le Cite d'Or
Antibes
13/05/2026: Several food options, very clean and very well maintained
03/05/2026: Frankly, a very unpleasant experience at this all-you-can-eat buffet. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay before even eating, under the pretext that "young people leave without paying." This is not only unfair but also frankly insulting. Being judged like this for no reason immediately creates a bad atmosphere.
Beyond that, the welcome was cold and unprofessional, which doesn't help one feel comfortable. You come to have a good time, not to be suspected the moment you walk through the door.
I understand that some establishments have had bad experiences, but generalizing and treating all young customers like thieves is unacceptable. I do not recommend this place, especially if you are looking for a minimum of respect and consideration.

Asie Délices
Saint-Raphael
03/02/2026: Excellent caterer, very fresh spring rolls made on-site and excellent, steamed dumplings a delight, fried rice worthy of a restaurant, shrimp in spicy sauce a treat, all the dishes are fresh and excellent, the only downside is the atmosphere, which could be more welcoming
02/02/2026: Be careful. They say the chicken and beef in spring rolls are halal, but they're cooked with pork.

08/06/2026: The all-you-can-eat buffet is very nice. You can even make your own wok dishes. I recommend it.
23/05/2026: We used to eat at this restaurant whenever we were in the Ajaccio region, but this time we were very disappointed. The quality is definitely not what it used to be: very little choice, cold dishes, dry fries, fish that smelled bad, and salmon sushi with a very unpleasant taste. Even the desserts had a questionable smell. The plates weren't very clean either. It's a shame, because it used to be a restaurant we enjoyed.

Table Rouge

25/05/2026: The staff are very pleasant and kind. I've been ordering from them for several months now and I've never been disappointed! Their food is excellent, I highly recommend them.
20/05/2026: I've been ordering for years and I'm almost never disappointed. A few times the prawns have been overcooked, or even a little burnt, but it's been rare.
However, the downside is the delivery driver, named "Le Dojo" (that's the name that appears when he calls), who is unpleasant and not very friendly. That's one of the reasons I don't order as often as I used to.
Otherwise, I recommend them.

11/07/2026: Why not give it a 0? A night spent on the toilet is worth that much! This restaurant should be shut down!
There's nothing fresh, and when it's edible, they say everything's fine. Avoid it at all costs!
24/06/2026: A very pleasant evening, a delicious fresh meal with plenty of choice, and welcoming staff. Thank you!

Tai Yien
Combat, Paris
05/05/2026: Very good, typical Chinese food! The service was quick, but they forgot three glasses of soy milk in the microwave...they were only served at the end of the meal. The restaurant was full.
It was quite noisy, but that's normal for a Chinese restaurant.
10/04/2026: A living Belleville treasure, a survivor from a bygone era
Tai Yien (大元隆家), 5 rue de Belleville, is much more than a restaurant: it's a Proustian madeleine for anyone who grew up in the Asian Belleville of the 1980s. After more than 40 years, this legendary establishment is one of the very few survivors of a time when the neighborhood was the beating heart of Paris's Sino-Vietnamese community. I went back with my mother, and as soon as we stepped inside, we were enveloped by a sweet and powerful nostalgia: the same wooden tables, the same warm and unpretentious atmosphere, the same feeling of being somewhere authentic, untouched by time and trends.
The house specialty is Cantonese rotisserie, and they master it to perfection. We ordered the Peking duck, served in generous chunks, its skin glistening and perfectly caramelized, its meat meltingly tender and fragrant, accompanied by a rich, slightly sweet homemade soy sauce. We also enjoyed the crispy roast pork (siu yuk), whose puffed, golden skin crackled as it should, revealing tender, well-seasoned meat. All of this was served with the traditional jar of pickled red chilies on the table, a detail that, in itself, encapsulates the spirit of these old-fashioned Asian eateries.
The menu is generous and varied: beyond the rotisserie, there's a melt-in-your-mouth pork belly that falls apart at the touch of a fork, succulent lacquered and caramelized pork ribs, fragrant fried rice of a kind rarely seen anymore, and many other classics of traditional Chinese cuisine. Each dish is prepared with the care and precision passed down through generations, without ever trying to do too much. Note that the half-duck is also available for takeout, an excellent option for extending the enjoyment at home.
And all this at a remarkably affordable price, which, in the heart of Paris, is almost miraculous for cuisine of this quality.
The service also deserves praise: the young women who run the dining room are charming, attentive, and efficient, with a blend of naturalness and thoughtfulness that immediately puts you at ease. You feel welcomed like a regular, even after years away.
In a Belleville that has profoundly changed, gentrified, and transformed over the decades, Tai Yien stands strong. It is the guardian of a collective memory, that of a working-class, multicultural, and vibrant neighborhood, the one many of us knew as children. Going back is like rediscovering a part of yourself.
A rare gem, absolutely recommended to all those who love real roasted Cantonese cuisine, to those who seek unpretentious authenticity, and to all the children of Belleville, past and present.

Aux Delices de Charentong Audrey
Charenton-Le-Pont
17/04/2026: A name like that in 2026? As an Asian person, I find it unacceptable.
I see it as nothing more than a stereotypical pun, and I urge you to change the name out of respect for the Asian community. I wasn't the only one among my acquaintances who was shocked. The "-g" at the end of Charenton is clearly superfluous and only reinforces the stereotypes, which I find deplorable.
If you don't see the problem, I invite you to explain the origin of the name and why it seemed appropriate for an Asian restaurant. At best, it's clumsy of you.

25/06/2026: I'm really disappointed with this restaurant; the food was disgusting.
I used to go there occasionally, but I won't go back because I'm so disappointed.
21/06/2026: Decent but unpretentious food; very convenient with children who can choose what they like. Terrible food for true Asian food lovers.

16/05/2026: The prepared meals were very bland. The portions are ridiculously small for the price. However, the spring rolls were good, which was the only positive point.

09/05/2026: One of the best places in Versailles for good and fast Chinese food. I have been going there for more than 10 years, never disappoints.
21/03/2026: €18 per kilo for Cantonese rice is a bit of a rip-off.
Edit: €1.85 / 100g, so €18.50 per kilo indeed, my apologies :)

Veng Hour Houdemont

29/06/2026: We tasted your food in the restaurant and had no complaints, except perhaps for the cardboard dishes and wooden cutlery. Today we got Vietnamese spring rolls to go and they were absolutely delicious, thank you!
18/02/2026: The waitress was bitter; she was forced to work because of her lack of politeness. The noodles tasted like dirt, and you had to ask her to heat the food up. Otherwise, the shrimp was good, but the price was exorbitant for the very small portion served.

Grand Bonheur

15/06/2026: The steamed assortment and Thai beef stir-fry on the griddle have been consistently excellent for years. But please, for goodness' sake, replace that awful carpet!
21/02/2026: Okay, I gave it stars because the place is super comfy and the service was impeccable. However, the lemongrass chicken didn't taste like lemongrass at all. It was under-seasoned.
