20/07/2026: I used to go to this canteen very regularly, despite the dirty chandeliers, which are a bit off-putting, though... There was a lot of choice and the food was good quality... The prices were reasonable. The prices have gradually skyrocketed and the quality is no longer there. Last time, I had to stop eating the baked fish, which I had been looking forward to coming for, and the large mushrooms... They were ten times too salty, inedible. You can sense a weariness among the staff, and probably the cooks too... When you cook, you taste it; that seems like the bare minimum... When it's that salty and they still serve the dish, it means they don't care... Really disappointed, I probably won't be going back anytime soon... unless they get a new menu, new prices, or reasonable set menus...

01/08/2026: A wonderful lunch on the very cozy terrace, a vastly superior experience to the previous version of Lily Wang. Where do these completely undeserved negative reviews come from? Asian cuisine has rarely been so highly praised.

28/07/2026: I've been a customer at this restaurant for many years. I didn't expect to be so disappointed by the food. I ordered a chicken with basil that was tasteless, bland, poorly cooked, and even the presentation was disappointing. My friend had a bluefin tuna tartare, which was also very bland. Very disappointed, I don't know if I'll try it again after more than 10 years of loyalty.

22/07/2026: We regularly ordered from Thuong until the day our order was switched with someone else's. So we went back (we live a 10-minute walk away), but we had to return the dish, meaning two trips home plus a 30-minute walk for one dish that was mistakenly given to us. They offered absolutely no compensation; it's truly appalling! So that's it, we won't be going back. If you're not a good businessperson, you shouldn't have a restaurant, especially if the mistake is yours!

23/04/2026: Having lived in Asia regularly for over 10 years, I wanted to introduce my partner to the culinary delights they offer. And once at the buffet, I was very surprised by the limited selection of dishes, and then by the poor quality of the food. There was a complete lack of ambiance or background music to transport us instantly from the Maurienne Valley to the Mekong Valley. I'm usually quite forgiving when things aren't great... but this was frankly awful! To top it off, my partner got sick...

03/02/2026: We were greeted with a smile and shown our table. As soon as we needed help, there's a section of raw seafood and meat that you can take to be cooked, they sweetly showed us where to go and how to proceed. Great array of hot food to choose from, which was topped up frequently, keeping it fresh and delicious. The cooked white fish with a delicate spice coating was incredible, had to go back for seconds. I started with sushi, prawns and calamari then moved on to noodles and special fried rice. Topping these with beef in black bean sauce, chicken curry, stir fried veg. Delighted to see Chinese black mushrooms and runner beans in a delicious sauce I couldn't place. The chicken and porc nem were great, two types of dim sum to choose from. Prawns in a sweet and sour sauce which wasn't too strong in flavour which I often find. For pudding I made myself a fruit salad with pineapple and lychee and a coconut water jelly which was surprisingly delicious too. They're peanut brittle is fantastic, they also had crystalised stem ginger and sesame Turkish delight as sweet treats to finish. Would definitely recommend a visit.

14/07/2026: Anyone who is in the area and wants to experience authentic Asian flavors and atmosphere must come in. In the evening there are also performances and dancing The place is large, colorful and rich. It reminds me of a kibbutz dining room. Food carts in the aisles, energetic waiters and everything is delicious.

06/07/2026: We visited this restaurant as a family. The place is quiet and pleasant. The welcome was friendly and the setting is lovely. The food was really good, with quite generous portions. I had loc lac rice and my father had noodles; it was very tasty. The service was a little slow but still acceptable. Overall, we had a very good time and I recommend it.

13/08/2026: Thanks to new management, I wasn't disappointed by the buffet, which is gourmet, and I'm a foodie. I recommend it, unlike some people who must eat William Saurin or Comme J'aime at home, and kebabs or McDonald's. They'll know who they are.

25/07/2026: A very good restaurant for an Asian buffet. The dishes are varied, well-stocked, and the ingredients are fresh. The wok is prepared to order, which is a real plus. The staff is friendly and the value for money is excellent. I will gladly return!

17/06/2026: Avoid at all costs if you value your colon! Food: Bad, cold food; I got food poisoning the next day. Service: I was watched from beginning to end, especially the waitress who felt up our napkins to make sure we hadn't hidden anything in them... Atmosphere: Deafening and hot; I felt unwell from the moment I arrived. In short, I wouldn't complain for 10 euros, but when I can eat in a decent bistro for the same price...

13/07/2026: The place wasn't particularly dirty, and the decor was rather charming. However, a strong musty smell pervaded the restaurant; it might be wise to ventilate the premises more. Our dishes were served in just one to two minutes, despite the menu having about fifteen items. Such speed naturally raises questions about their preparation. Upon arrival, the dishes looked unappetizing and had a rather peculiar odor. Unfortunately, they were simply inedible. We regretfully had to leave our plates completely full. Furthermore, when placing our order, we asked if the meat was halal. After a brief hesitation, the waitress told us that only the chicken was. Then, a few seconds later, she changed her mind, stating that all the meat was halal. This sudden and unexplained change was not very reassuring and raised doubts about the reliability of his statement. Perhaps this restaurant once offered quality cuisine, but our experience was unfortunately very disappointing. It would undoubtedly be beneficial to review the quality of the food and the kitchen organization. This review reflects my personal experience; not everything was necessarily bad. The premises are well-maintained and very well located, close to the train station. The waitress was quite pleasant. I should mention that I was there on August 24th.
