23/03/2026: A disgrace! Unsanitary hotel rooms. Appalling service. A head chef with a huge ego. You can hear the staff partying all night from their house, and people shouting. When you drive by, you see abandoned rooms filled with trash. I think the labor and health inspectors should pay a visit.

16/03/2026: I was lucky enough to return several times. The first time was for a family holiday in the summer, and the second time was for the Halloween and Lantern Festival events. Each time, we were blown away by the beauty of the place. The decorations for each theme were breathtaking and completely immersed us in their world. What was most remarkable was the friendliness and warm welcome of the hotel and restaurant staff. A huge thank you to the team at La Table de Colette for taking such good care of us. Hats off to the Chef! We savored exquisite dishes with very original flavor combinations. We were also very touched by the servers who remembered the dietary needs of everyone in our group and served us personalized trays of petits fours when we returned to the restaurant for a drink. We were all truly captivated and will definitely be back!

28/08/2026: What more can I say than what other customers have already said? The food is of exceptional quality, delicious, and generous, served by a passionate and incredibly friendly chef! Truly an excellent place, but to get a table you need to book... sometimes well in advance! We had a wonderful time with friends. Example of the daily menu at €18.50: Cod and fish mousse on a bed of leeks, hake with mushroom and potato duxelles, cauliflower sauce, cheese, dessert...

15/06/2026: We received a perfect welcome; having no rooms available, they offered us a wonderful and easily accessible gîte (self-catering accommodation) within the hotel grounds, in a splendid setting. Our stay was unfortunately too short as we were only passing through. Everything was perfect: the location, the delicious meals, the generous breakfast, the smiling and helpful manager, the attentive staff, and our sincere and heartfelt congratulations to the dynamic and smiling young waitress (a true jack-of-all-trades!). We will be back!

05/05/2026: The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very well located. The room had a very comfortable bed. The restaurant food is excellent. I highly recommend it.

14/09/2026: I went there last night. The menu was very limited, and even a small eater like me quickly got tired of it. The welcome wasn't great. It was incredibly noisy, and the dining room was very poorly organized. Later, when I checked my bill, I realized we were charged about €5 extra for no reason, since there was absolutely no waste, and that extra charge was €8 anyway. In short, a very, very bad experience. You're much better off going to the Atlantis in Limoges.

If you enjoy being greeted with looks as warm as a Siberian winter and service as enthusiastic as a cat in the bath, you've come to the right place! But thankfully, the food more than makes up for the owner's lack of tact! Everything is delicious, as you'd expect from homemade food! Like this ratatouille!.... Fabulous... A true masterpiece that subtly reminds us that canned goods work wonders in the kitchen. You can tell the chef must have opened the can with the precision of a goldsmith and a talent that defies all competition. A perfect dish for those who appreciate the rustic charm of canned food! And to top it all off, the behind-the-scenes show is absolutely delightful: the owner whispers sweet "compliments" to her customers with her partner.... A touch of theatricality that makes the experience truly unique. A real treat for fans of surreal atmospheres!

05/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! A very warm welcome and authentic cuisine, including a ribeye steak cooked right in front of you on the barbecue. Excellent value for money. Don't hesitate to visit this establishment; you won't be disappointed.

16/09/2026: During a walk, I stopped at this place for lunch and had a lovely time! The waiter was very friendly and efficient, and the burger was delicious and generously topped with a large portion of fries. Price-wise, it's not exactly cheap, but it's not excessive either. I'd gladly go back if I have the chance.

25/08/2026: Passing through Uzerche, and despite arriving a little late without a reservation, we received a very warm welcome. The food was excellent, the fish cooked to perfection. Everything was flawless; the presentation, the service—everything was perfect. The restaurant's decor was also very attractive. We will definitely return if we are ever back in the area.

02/08/2026: Had a delicious lunch and it was nice that the menu could be adapted for vegetarians. Beautiful, classic-looking ambiance with a lovely terrace and a beautiful view.

03/10/2026: Honestly, I'm really disappointed. I was expecting an American sandwich; we all know the basic American sandwich: baguette, steak, fries, and crudités. And this is what I ended up with, even though I ate the second half. But since I'm in the hospital, I can't really say anything. I'm really disappointed, especially since it clearly states on their flyer that it's a classic sandwich, so you should only eat the bread at this point. And I especially advise against the white sauce with cumin inside; I've never seen anything like it.

24/08/2026: The dish was simply delicious, and the foie gras and toasts were perfect. Absolutely no complaints! Even though I'm quite picky, I managed to find something I loved among the dishes on offer. I would simply suggest offering more dessert options. Aside from ice cream, tarts, crème brûlée, etc., I think it's a shame there aren't any chocolate desserts, like chocolate mousse or chocolate fondant. Otherwise, everything was perfect! I highly recommend this place for a family dinner.

28/07/2026: So, how to put it... Simply very disappointed with the quality of the dishes. The foie gras wasn't homemade, which is okay, I guess, but the presentation was insignificant. The sweetbread casserole was mediocre, and the lamb was a complete letdown. Imagine being in a school cafeteria, and you're served a slice of leg of lamb cut with a lightsaber, placed on the plate with absolutely no flavor and no jus. It was like something out of a cheap restaurant. The cheese course was also cafeteria fare, and the cheese wasn't even local. The dessert was a crème caramel, but the caramel was nowhere to be seen. All this for a bill that didn't reflect the quality of the food. In short, if I can give you one piece of advice, keep walking and look elsewhere.

06/04/2026: We're from Seville, and we had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant. We highly recommend it, for the service, the friendliness of the staff, the atmosphere, and of course, the food. It's a place we'll definitely return to if we go back to Brive-la-Gaillarde.
