18/05/2026: I was looking for a quick dinner since my hotel restaurant was closed. Google showed me this pizzeria. So I went! Friendly service, with a mix of German, French, and English. The pizza I ordered was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I also got a Coke to go, and the meal was complete. The pizza was delicious! Very tasty and fresh. I can definitely recommend this pizzeria!

20/08/2026: This hotel is truly stuck in the past… and when I say stuck in the past, I mean it! 😅 Vintage carpeting, bedding probably straight out of the 1980s… I think you'll have plenty of time during your long night to count the mattress springs. 😂 We did think, though: maybe breakfast will be delicious… A smell wafts up the stairs. The scent of pastries. The kind of thing that wakes you up after a rough night. 🥐 We almost start to believe it. But how can I put it… The coffee is chicory. ☕️ And the pastries are probably two, three, four days old… hard to tell! In short, for €63, I honestly advise you to look elsewhere… or sleep in your car. 😂 Sorry to the owners, who must be trying to make ends meet in a challenging environment. But, in my opinion, there are still improvements that could be made at minimal cost. And frankly, in a hotel, bedding is the bare minimum. Because after all, we come mainly to sleep… not to count springs all night! 😅

22/08/2026: Extremely noisy, difficult to communicate when there are many of you because you can hear the people next door. As for the food...ouch...I'm used to all kinds of cuisine, but I've never eaten so badly.

18/08/2026: It has declined in quality since opening. Poorly shaped spring rolls, tasteless vegetable chop suey, and unseasoned stir-fried shrimp. Even the fried foods are not very good quality and retain their grease. Tiramisu and other desserts are bland. Even the lychees and kiwis lack flavor. Far from traditional recipes. Only the wok dishes save the day.

25/07/2026: This place is absolutely insane! The food is insane. When you taste the Magneto (it's a dish), you feel like you're in the middle of a fight against Nganou, the bites are like uppercuts. By the end of the tasting, my heart was completely drained; I had to take a nap to recover. The owner is a bit pricey, but I highly recommend it.

21/07/2026: I've been to this fast-food restaurant twice... and both times I ended up with food poisoning. I wanted to give it a second chance after my first bad experience, but unfortunately, the result was exactly the same. I obviously can't say for sure what caused the problem, but this recurring issue worries me enough that I won't be going back.

23/03/2026: A disgrace! Unsanitary hotel rooms. Appalling service. A head chef with a huge ego. You can hear the staff partying all night from their house, and people shouting. When you drive by, you see abandoned rooms filled with trash. I think the labor and health inspectors should pay a visit.

16/03/2026: I was lucky enough to return several times. The first time was for a family holiday in the summer, and the second time was for the Halloween and Lantern Festival events. Each time, we were blown away by the beauty of the place. The decorations for each theme were breathtaking and completely immersed us in their world. What was most remarkable was the friendliness and warm welcome of the hotel and restaurant staff. A huge thank you to the team at La Table de Colette for taking such good care of us. Hats off to the Chef! We savored exquisite dishes with very original flavor combinations. We were also very touched by the servers who remembered the dietary needs of everyone in our group and served us personalized trays of petits fours when we returned to the restaurant for a drink. We were all truly captivated and will definitely be back!

26/06/2026: I hadn't been back for over a year, very disappointed by my last lunch there, but today, since I was arriving to do my shopping at noon, I decided to try the set menu. And I'm so glad I did. It was excellent and a generous portion. A seafood casserole served with broccoli, carrots, and rice, followed by a delicious dessert (fruit salad, chocolate cream, yogurt cake) for €15.90 (€17.90 if you also order the starter, which was a melon medley). So, I'm going to happily resume my lunches/shopping trips here. My second visit was this Wednesday with a friend, and unfortunately, most of our potatoes were raw, and a few others were so burnt they were inedible. We reported it, but the second batch wasn't much better. What a disappointment! But the service is still very pleasant, with a young woman who is attentive and smiling.

15/08/2026: A very nice buffet restaurant with specialties you won't find anywhere else. Everything is well-presented and varied, and the restaurant is well-maintained with very helpful staff! Reasonable prices 👍

24/08/2026: The dish was simply delicious, and the foie gras and toasts were perfect. Absolutely no complaints! Even though I'm quite picky, I managed to find something I loved among the dishes on offer. I would simply suggest offering more dessert options. Aside from ice cream, tarts, crème brûlée, etc., I think it's a shame there aren't any chocolate desserts, like chocolate mousse or chocolate fondant. Otherwise, everything was perfect! I highly recommend this place for a family dinner.

28/07/2026: So, how to put it... Simply very disappointed with the quality of the dishes. The foie gras wasn't homemade, which is okay, I guess, but the presentation was insignificant. The sweetbread casserole was mediocre, and the lamb was a complete letdown. Imagine being in a school cafeteria, and you're served a slice of leg of lamb cut with a lightsaber, placed on the plate with absolutely no flavor and no jus. It was like something out of a cheap restaurant. The cheese course was also cafeteria fare, and the cheese wasn't even local. The dessert was a crème caramel, but the caramel was nowhere to be seen. All this for a bill that didn't reflect the quality of the food. In short, if I can give you one piece of advice, keep walking and look elsewhere.

01/09/2026: A fantastic restaurant with a warm welcome, impeccable service and cuisine, as well as fabulous desserts at a very reasonable price. Plus, a lovely terrace overlooking the square, shaded by plane trees.

23/08/2026: After a short hike along the monks' canal, we just wanted to grab a sandwich. Thomas, the chef, kindly pointed us to a local shop, and we ended up discovering his appetizer platter for two—gargantuan and excellent. A real treat, with incredibly generous flavors. Beyond the food, the two young waitresses were exceptionally kind. Discreet yet attentive to our needs. This meal in the little square, shaded by trees, accompanied by French songs (Thomas even sang a few lines, and by the way, he has a lovely voice), will remain a wonderful memory of our vacation. Don't hesitate to go and discover this incredibly generous cuisine.

24/04/2026: Despite being regular customers of this establishment, we deplore the manager's aggressive remarks in response to a simple question about the "Limousin" Coca-Cola served there. We don't go to a store to be verbally attacked for a simple question; it's unacceptable, regardless of what this person might say in response to this negative review. There were three of us adults with the same experience. I note that Peyrard's review in December 2025 is similar...

26/07/2026: What a restaurant!! The best Asian restaurant in Brive, by far. A wide variety of dishes, all delicious and cooked to perfection. Sauces that will transport you, and all at a great price. Impeccable and warm service; you feel like you're with friends while sharing a wonderful meal. Very reasonable prices. I come several times a year, and each time I'm even more impressed. If you want to have a great time, come here!!!

We were a group of cyclists staying and eating... the hotel staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and accommodating. Would absolutely return with a group or solo. 03/06/2026: The hotel was excellent, the room spacious with all the necessary comforts for a pleasant stay. The food was very good, the menu changed daily and was very varied, featuring homemade cuisine. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I've been coming here for work for a long time and I'm never disappointed. I recommend Les Gravades.
