28/04/2026: Good hotel where I stay regularly. Friendly and attentive welcome. Clean rooms, although a bit dated. Pleasant setting and easy access and parking. Generous breakfast. No complaints.

15/04/2026: Excellent welcome. We were upgraded because there was a 5-minute wait for our room. The restaurant was excellent with reasonable prices. We will definitely return and recommend it. Sincerely

04/08/2026: We were very puzzled by the welcome... Although courteous, the owner informed us that they were full as they were expecting a group. While out for a drive, we passed by the restaurant again 30 minutes later, and it was still empty. We continued our drive 30 minutes later and saw that there was still no one there... Was the refusal to serve us due to our tan? We'll remain with this question and, in the meantime, do not recommend this restaurant.

02/08/2026: Despite arriving late, I was greeted and served with kindness. Starter, main course, cheese, dessert and coffee for a total of €18.

05/09/2026: Not much effort. Not much choice. Just passing through, I ate adequately on a very noisy terrace. Difficult to rate, because given the dreary nature of this city, this restaurant at least brings a little life to the neighborhood! Fair price.

20/08/2026: When my daughter goes to her driving lesson, this is where I wait for her. Very friendly, always kind and pleasant, very good coffee

30/08/2026: We placed an order at the drive-thru. Once we picked it up, we checked it as usual, and the results were disappointing: • The McFlurry: no topping. • The new double Chicago burger: only one patty instead of two. We had to go back to the restaurant, after a long wait, to get a sandwich in a pitiful state—when I opened it, I found only a single slice of cheese. • No sauce provided. • Cold, unsalted fries. • Cheddar and bacon toppings: paid for but served in very small portions. I went back to explain the problem, and I was told, without much consideration, that it was normal and that they wouldn't refill the order. As a loyal and regular customer of this McDonald's, I am disappointed to see how the lack of professionalism of some employees can damage the brand's image.

29/08/2026: Fast service. Friendly and responsive staff. Clean restaurant.

31/08/2026: Today, August 30th, I came to get a sandwich, like I used to. It was deplorable; the service was appalling and the place wasn't very clean. The waiter broke a display case, and shards of glass fell onto the food. I ordered two croissants cooked exactly as I saw them in the display case, and he went to get others from elsewhere that weren't the same (overcooked). Then I ordered a lemon tart and an exotic cream. He put everything in a small carrier bag, but upright. The exotic cream was all mixed together, and the lemon tart was ruined, the cream still in the bag. This is the first time in 60 years that I've seen such poor service, especially since this shop used to be good; now it's a complete disaster. I'm well-known in the area because I used to own a restaurant, now retired, so I'm not making this up.

27/07/2026: Unable to serve meal deals in a reasonable timeframe (over 45 minutes to be served). The staff are clueless, and the manager only takes action after 30 minutes. The bakery is dirty, and the service is truly appalling.

10/07/2026: Pleasant room, fast service, attractive prices and a menu that makes you want to come back.

20/06/2026: I recommend the signature menu. We found a welcome respite from the heat inside this magnificent hotel restaurant. I would gladly return during a future stay in Corrèze to discover new dishes.

14/03/2026: A few years ago, while traveling from Alsace to the Landes region, I booked a room at "La Coloniale" bed and breakfast. I arrived around 5 p.m. on a Sunday evening in mid-October. The weather was rainy, dark, and gloomy, and there was no one at reception. I called the mobile number I had and reached someone who I was clearly bothering. The gentleman was invited to a friend's house for drinks. Barely polite, he questioned my reservation date. He did, however, explain how to access a room (Prune) which wasn't the one I had booked (Perle). There was no one to suggest a restaurant for dinner, so no dinner. The next morning, still no host, I dealt with a housekeeper, who was quite pleasant, for breakfast and to settle the bill for my stay. Conclusion: disappointed by this reception which lacked the most basic respect, this is not an address I recommend.

25/08/2026: The setting is lovely. I'm taking off one star for the price. I find this restaurant expensive. It's a shame there's no menu available on Sundays.

25/08/2026: It was lovely to eat by the lake. I was a little disappointed because I was expecting to be practically right on the water, but it was still very nice. The food was good, but I didn't really like the dessert.

03/07/2026: I called a place 10 minutes from this inn to ask if we could eat there. A disgusting man answered, very agitated, and told me to call back in an hour, saying he had 30 people and was serving alone. I thanked him for his kindness; I couldn't have known he was so busy. He was aggressive, and I certainly wouldn't be stopping at his place. I do not recommend this despicable person.

05/06/2026: At Le Tacot, the daily menu is unique and gourmet, cleverly crafted from start to finish by Alain Sécond, its creative and jovial chef, using fresh, local, seasonal produce. The stars are in the eyes of the customers.

16/08/2026: Excellent, generously topped pizzas and, above all, a kind and attentive team who spared us from the downpour on August 15th. An unexpected experience that will definitely bring us back in better conditions next time we're in the area ;-). Keep up the good work, you deserve the best and much more than just 5 stars.

05/05/2026: I ate there: it's really expensive for what it is. The menu doesn't justify the price, and the desserts were clearly frozen… what a shame. I strongly advise against it; it's not good value for money.

03/06/2026: Stayed for two nights whilst motorhome was being repaired in a local garage. The proprietress was very kind and understanding of our situation and went out of her way to help us with accommodation until our van was repaired. Hotel is ideally situated right in the centre of the village and is charming and traditionally French. I would thoroughly recommend a stay when visiting this lovely town.

22/05/2026: During a cycling trip, our group of 15 spent the night at the hotel and had breakfast the next morning before setting off again. We were delighted with the warm welcome from the owner, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was very generous. I will definitely return for a few days sometime before next autumn.

02/07/2026: Excellent value for money. 4 medium pizzas €37.50 Generously topped pizzas prepared in 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

27/06/2026: Family-run hotel, very well located, very clean room and bathroom. The managers are welcoming and friendly. Dinner and breakfast are very reasonably priced; simple but good. No complaints 🙂 I'll keep the address in mind if I'm ever in the area again; I won't hesitate to return.

08/05/2026: There are still some clean, pleasant, inexpensive hotels where they might rip you off with an exorbitant breakfast price. Well, the Hotel de France is one of them. I recommend this reasonably priced hotel; you feel right at home.
