19/08/2026: While planning our holiday in Corrèze, I discovered this pastry shop after reading a review on Instagram. It was a given that we would stop by. We ended up going four times, including our last visit in the morning, to bring some pastries home with us. There were eleven of us, and we sampled almost all the pastries, viennoiseries, and some of the ice cream. Everything, and I mean everything, was delicious! A real treat! We especially loved three pastries: the Polka, the Suc au May, and the Charles Lachaud. Hats off to the kitchen staff (they're so talented!), and thank you to the sales assistants, who were incredibly kind on every visit.

19/08/2026: We stopped by chance on the road. We tried two chocolate cakes… absolutely delicious!!! And everything looked amazing! A bit pricey, but excellence comes at a cost! If you're ever in the area, it's worth a visit!

15/06/2026: We received a perfect welcome; having no rooms available, they offered us a wonderful and easily accessible gîte (self-catering accommodation) within the hotel grounds, in a splendid setting. Our stay was unfortunately too short as we were only passing through. Everything was perfect: the location, the delicious meals, the generous breakfast, the smiling and helpful manager, the attentive staff, and our sincere and heartfelt congratulations to the dynamic and smiling young waitress (a true jack-of-all-trades!). We will be back!

05/05/2026: The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very well located. The room had a very comfortable bed. The restaurant food is excellent. I highly recommend it.

01/07/2026: €5.50 for a smoothie made with ice cubes and industrial fruit juice; for that price, I at least expected fresh fruit…

05/09/2026: Beautiful terrace overlooking the lake, magnificent setting. The pizzas are absolutely delicious. The service is excellent. We'll definitely be back.

21/08/2026: We were on vacation and wanted to try out La Guinguette. The setting was really lovely, and the meal was quite good. However, the service left something to be desired. A bit too relaxed for our taste. The young staff seemed unsure of their duties; we weren't offered dessert, and no one came back to check on us. It's a shame because everything else was really good.

18/07/2026: Canteen-style atmosphere, different dishes for walk-ins and regulars. Single menu and single price even if you don't order starters. Dark and gloomy… boiled potatoes as the only side dish… But steak and fries for the staff who come for lunch. Definitely for their regular clientele.

13/07/2026: We used their services for a christening and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and the team was exceptionally kind.

28/05/2026: I was ripped off. I paid twice as much for a label maker and printing ribbons as I would have at Bureau Vallée, which was just across the street. I went straight back to the store to explain, but they refused to give me a refund even though their equipment had just come out of the store. It's a disgrace to sell a product to professionals for more than double what it should be sold for. I no longer trust Rétif.

26/07/2026: We just had dinner and ordered the chef's suggestion: veal onglet with pepper mousseline sauce, which was recommended by the manager. It was a real treat! The welcome was very warm, the place was lovely, and the background music was very pleasant. Thank you for this delightful experience.

07/06/2026: A fantastic discovery! We won a gift voucher and took advantage of a short break to use it at this hotel-restaurant not far from home. The place: Unique and very beautiful, and full of life. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the decor superb. The food: The food is excellent! The chef knows her craft and how to work with ingredients (an amateur couldn't do that). From dinner to breakfast, it was quite exceptional. Quality and quantity: we truly enjoyed ourselves! The welcome: The owner, who manages both the service and the kitchen (hats off to her for her dedication!), is incredibly friendly and efficient. It was a pleasure to meet her and learn her story. Honestly, we had a wonderful time and we highly recommend it! Thank you.

03/06/2026: Fantastic weekend at a lovely hotel and restaurant. The receptionist was incredibly kind and attentive to her guests 👍 The rooms are superb and spotless. The gourmet meal was absolutely top-notch 👍 If you're looking for a place to eat in Turenne, I highly recommend this wonderful establishment. Thank you for everything 👍🤩
