07/09/2024: L'affichage des prix est plus qu'ambigu... ce qui est vendu comme un pinte de brune est en fait facturé au prix de 2 bières 33cl chacunes... soit 12 euros la pinte. Cet endroit est ce qu'on peut appeler un piège à touristes

27/08/2024: I just had an exceptional time at the Monédière estate! The setting is simply idyllic, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, making it a true haven of peace. The massage I received was perfect, with very attentive and professional practitioners. I felt totally relaxed and revitalized. The spa offers a range of quality treatments, and every minute spent there was pure bliss. A big thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and their expertise. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape and recharge their batteries. You will not be disappointed!

07/09/2024: Blah blah blah. Nice setting but that's not all. Expensive for what you eat. My prawn risotto was not a risotto at all but an overcooked rice with no particular flavor, the children's menu costs €13 for a water syrup, 4 nuggets and 2 handfuls of barely cooked fries…..A steak not seared and blue even though the requested cooking was rare……And let's not forget, on the table one of the glasses from our 4 disgusting place settings, the pot with disgusting cactus also and what's more is of no use, the bottle of Italian wine already on the table when we arrived, never removed, in the middle of the meal we had to ask for a basket of bread…..In short, very expensive for the service. Go on your way, go to Mac Do. You eat what corresponds to the asking price

23/09/2024: We stopped at the Flunch in Brive-la-Gaillarde on our way to the North from our vacations. What a pleasant surprise! This is one of the cleanest Flunchs we have visited. We saw the manager ensuring that everything was in order, with dynamic and organized teams. The welcome was warm, and above all, the dishes were served piping hot. Congratulations to the entire team for this impeccable service. We will come back with pleasure.

05/08/2024: Praise in the campsite guide, homemade seasonal local cuisine... Disappointed with this meal, the taboulet was good but nothing extraordinary, pasta carbonara which is just cream pasta with fairly fatty bacon, fruit salad... an open can without a doubt. Too bad, I wasn't expecting that at all, but the welcome, the terrace and the service were very good.

02/09/2024: Restaurant chosen by my son for his birthday, I was not enthusiastic but I followed it. Even he, despite his young age, agreed that it would be really bad. The worst Asian in Brive I think and in the end, it costs more than 20€/person, there are much better elsewhere for this price.... to avoid!

27/08/2024: Ne correspond aucunement à ce qui est indiqué sur le site de l'hôtel. Ce restaurant ne propose que des plats à partir de produits congelés (cf. les camions de livraison et les emballages). Aucun bruit n'émane de la cuisine. La cuisine est un art que nous ne retrouvons absolument plus. Nous étions habitué à faire une halte sur notre route de vacances. C'est terminé.

20/08/2024: Nous sommes venus fêter notre anniversaire de mariage au Sablier du Temps à Argentat, habitués à une grande qualité gastronomique (plats réalisés par un chef maître artisant). Quelle déception!! Personne à l'accueil, obligés d'aller jusqu'au fond du restaurant pour trouver la patronne pas vraiment aimable. Nous avons choisi un menu gastronomique ...qui n'a de gastronomique que le nom. Amuse bouche sans finesse...tapenade d'olives nous a-t'il semblé...trop salée sur un cake insipide et trop sec. Que dire du ceviche poisson calamar , amer et recouvert d'une bonne couche de crème fraîche nature sans accompagnement. Et le calamar en bouche gélatineux. Le plat suivant espadon mi cuit cuit sur un grill ce qui donnait un goût brûlé recouvert d'une sauce indescriptible, le tout accompagné d'une simple purée de carottes, d'une cuillère à soupe d'épinards surgelés cuits à l'eau, un cuillère de poireaux et 3 bouts de pommes de terre sautées recuites. Fromages insipides mal servis ( la serveuse m'a tendu mon assiette !!).Quand au dessert la feuillantine de fruits rouges : 4 demi fraises noyées dans la chantilly, le tout disposé entre 2 grosses langues de chat ...celle du dessous baignait dans du jus ...une vraie éponge. Bref dîner très décevant....beaucoup trop cher (150 €) pour la "qualité " présentée. Le nom des plats n'est pas à la hauteur de ce qu'il y a dans l'assiette. Aucun raffinement ni pour l'œil ni pour le palais. Nous avons appris que le restaurant avait changé de propriétaire et de chef...nous sommes très loin du prestige qu'avait cet établissement. Anciens habitués ....à éviter. Et pour ceux qui veulent découvrir passez votre chemin...il y a de très bons restaurants gastronomiques dans notre région.
