21/08/2026: For an aperitif, an expired sausage wasn't a big deal, but at least they should have removed the label! We ordered a goat cheese salad with duck breast for €15, and the portion was ridiculously small for that price… We won't be returning to such a low-quality establishment in Pompadour… The location is nice enough with a view of the castle. Good at ripping off tourists.

17/08/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with good food. The three servers are very friendly and efficient. A minor drawback: the music was a bit too loud with unpleasant bass, and the owner wasn't very friendly.

18/07/2026: €26 for two mini pizzas, the most rip-off pizzas in France. And in terms of taste, even mediocre Marseille pizza is better than these… The crust is practically nonexistent, it's so thin. We ordered cream bases and they weren't even cream. The day a good pizzeria opens up on the corner, it's going to hurt. Getting ripped off like that!… Never again. And we don't like to leave bad reviews. But this is really too much.

30/12/2025: When I opened my sandwich, I discovered mold inside. A clear lack of hygiene; it really doesn't inspire confidence. A very disappointing experience.

27/12/2025: An impromptu evening at Le Petit Creux where we found unparalleled good cheer, a huge thank you for this wonderful moment of sharing among warm and kind people, delicious homemade food, laughter and singing with Béatrice, a friend of the house… I highly recommend it, a must-try! 17/07/2026: A lovely little restaurant in the heart of old Brive. We dined on the terrace and ordered just one dish. The service was very good. The dishes were tasty, though not exceptional. A minor drawback was that the wine was warm. Our neighbors at the next table seemed happy with their desserts. However, be aware of the extra charges for the wine: €7 per glass, and €7 extra for a salad! The total came to €65 for two dishes, two glasses of wine, and a salad.

17/07/2026: We came for dinner on Monday evening. A real treat for the taste buds! The waiter was lovely and offered great advice. Afterwards, we chatted with the owner to thank him for a wonderful evening thanks to the whole team. We'll definitely be back often and will bring our friends. Plus, it's excellent value for money! I highly recommend it! 🤗😉

01/04/2026: Hello, this is a very good little restaurant where you can eat well all you want for €12. There's nothing to complain about. Of course, you're not served like in a 5-star restaurant, but the price isn't the same. You have to know what you want. I eat there every time I go down to Brive and I've never been disappointed.

27/03/2026: It's really a working-class restaurant; the food is average, but the interior needs a complete renovation.

06/08/2026: How to save money!!! We came for a drink after the market and asked the waiter where we could sit, mentioning that there were nine of us. He said no problem, seated us, and then no one else was there. We were the only occupied table in the bar. The rest were empty. Everyone else was being served at the counter, but the waiter was just whistling and waiting. After hearing the owner say he wasn't going to serve them, and after waiting for 10 minutes without a waiter coming, we left, thanking him. It's a shame in a listed village not to serve tourists. The grumpy owner should retire if he can't handle anything.

28/05/2026: At 10:30 am we asked if lunch was possible for 12 people... the owner took 30 seconds to think... and then he agreed. Luckily for us, the welcome was friendly, the food simple but excellent, the meat... incredibly tender (Sandrine Rousseau wouldn't have liked it), and the dessert... I don't know how to describe it... simply divine. Our group wasn't from the area, but we highly recommend it to others who are visiting.

25/07/2026: A lovely, intimate restaurant. The waitresses are attentive and welcoming. Varied and homemade menu. The dishes are beautifully presented. Taste and freshness are guaranteed. I highly recommend it!

24/07/2026: This restaurant is anything but a bistro. Too much vinaigrette dressing on the appetizers, the green salad wasn't fresh, and there was very little gravlax compared to the excessive amount of raw vegetables—these are just a few examples. And the ice cream was very ordinary, served in a barely clean container. Not exactly divine! The welcome was adequate, nothing more, and the service was acceptable if you remember to ask for napkins, which actually arrive with dessert. In short, keep walking and try somewhere else across the street.

02/08/2026: Passing through this village, we were very surprised by the quality of the products and the attentive service. We highly recommend it. The crema catalana was excellent!

01/06/2026: Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious and very clean room, quiet and convenient for getting back on the motorway. I recommend it.

10/05/2026: The room, dating back to the 1980s, doesn't justify a 3-star rating. The carpet was outdated and dirty, the bathroom quite antiquated for the hotel's standard, with a stained sink, a stained towel, tape/splash marks on the mirror, no shutters, and a blackout curtain that didn't really block out the light. However, the location was quiet and the large bed was comfortable. The hotel is showing its age and is in need of renovation. A receptionist called at 10:59 am for an 11:00 am checkout, even though we weren't about to leave the room. The reception was closed on Saturday from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm on our arrival day, despite the advertised 3:00 pm check-in, and we had to wait outside for an hour. The restaurant was closed on the weekend, even though we had planned to eat there. It's rather poor, especially for a room costing €169 in high season; it's a rip-off.

18/08/2026: I had my order delivered, it was quick, and the delivery person was very friendly and smiling despite the three flights of stairs 🙏. The products are good, I recommend them.

07/07/2026: We arrived at 7:30 pm, six people were already there, and tables were available... we were refused a table because we hadn't made a reservation! The welcome was appalling, the staff very rude! Luckily, we found a much nicer place!

30/06/2026: Our reservation request for 8 people was refused before opening time. We should have booked 48 hours in advance. When we arrived around 7:30 pm, there were only 2 people who had just arrived. We therefore don't understand your refusal. I am disappointed by your behavior.

30/06/2026: Avoid at all costs. It took an hour and a half to be served, and that was after asking for our food three times. Only part of the table was served. Very disappointed. We absolutely do not recommend this place.

09/03/2026: Disappointing, had to wait over an hour before food was available. In the meantime our table was reserved for those who had pre booked their food for later in the evening. Their were, as we saw when we were leaving, other tables where we could have eaten outside the designated eating area. It is not a genuine Irish bar but a "canned" version for tourists. This was evident as the TV was used by the disco and the games and darts machines were switched off fr the disco also on a night when Ireland were playing rugby in the six nations. We went to a lovely restaurant across the square and then returned to a genuine Irish bar two doors up from the Shamrock to drink Guinness and enjoy the rugby on their TV.

13/05/2026: Everything is perfect. Excellent breakfast.

08/05/2026: The bedding was very good. The bathroom is very, very small for taking a shower, really too small. A shame.
