11/12/2025: I don't know if it's the best cassoulet around, but we certainly enjoyed it. The excellent explanations about its preparation allowed us to fully appreciate it. The specialty was served in a piping hot casserole dish, the beans were very flavorful, and the meats were delicious. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere vibrant with an exhibition by a local artist, but the bill was a bit high. It doesn't matter when you know that this same cassoulet is also enjoyed in Chicago... A great experience.
10/12/2025: Hello, we visited on December 10th, 2025, and frankly, we had a wonderful time – a real treat for the taste buds and the eyes. Too rare in Castelnaudary.

30/11/2024: The cassolete is very good! And the charming owner! Speak Spanish. And even though it says it closes at 3pm on Google, it closes later!

10/12/2025: A very nice restaurant with friendly service, but the food was really disappointing. Over €20 for pasta with butter and a few frozen seafood items on top. Not even a marinade or sauce… The desserts were very expensive for a tiny frozen cassoulet and a cold vanilla pear cider straight from the fridge.
07/12/2025: We highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of the welcome, the service, and the menu. The regional menu is excellent; we will definitely return.
Furthermore, the parking lot is quite large; we were able to park our camper van without any problems.

30/08/2024: Very good establishment, we stopped during the cassoulet festival, the service was fast and the atmosphere really great.
29/08/2024: It's pretty good. But I've already eaten better.
Fair value for money.
Very good red wines at €20 on the menu.
Menus at fair prices.
The dishes are quite generous and the crème brûlée was very good.
The service was good.
We were lucky to be on the right side of the terrace where the waiter was smiling and smelling good.
There is one, unfortunately, who must have forgotten to put on deodorant. It was quite hard 😩

25/09/2024: Wonderful wedding night spent in this establishment with my wife following our wedding!
A very gastronomic restaurant, very good and warm. The room was beautiful, luxurious, spacious and there were even rose petals for our arrival 😍
The staff is smiling, professional and very kind, we were entitled to congratulations from the staff but also from the other people present for our wedding, a very good atmosphere. Large and secure parking.
A very good breakfast (14€/pers) served as you wish! In short, a stay forever marked in our lives, thank you! ❤️

Entrée charcuterie très copieux décoration industriel très jolie
On se sent très bien dans ce petit resto avec la présence de mamie et l'amour et le respect de sa petite fille
On repassera avec un grand plaisir
25/07/2024: Nous venons depuis toujours dans ce routier. A midi, le menu à 15€ entrée plat dessert vin compris. Service rapide, jolie rerrasse à l'arrière. Atmosphère familiale. Bon, copieux, pas cher. C'est trop bien.

15/09/2024: Passing through, for one night, arrived at 7:30 p.m. after 500km, we had booked, we were told that the half board meals are at 7 p.m. they will have to hurry up, the bacon cassoulet and duck duck, lots of tasteless, unsalted beans , meal 45 minutes, limited breakfast, for 158€ I do not recommend

29/06/2024: De passage, nous souhaitons déjeuner pour déguster le cassoulet de Castelnaudary. L objectif à été atteint car nous avons apprécié le CASSOULET avec sa salade, excellent. Un café gourmand pour clore le repas composé de 4 desserts différents également succulents.
Vous êtes servis sur une nappe blanche, serviette tissu, très apprécies et la bonne humeur et le professionnalisme des personnels ne font qu agrémenter votre repas.
Bonne maison.

20/09/2024: C'est dommage ! L'endroit est très sympa, sur une péniche, sur le canal du Midi à l'ombre des parasols, que demander de mieux quand il fait chaud, c'est super agréable...
La magie s'arrête là ! Côté cuisine, déception !
Gambas insipides, entrecôte sans saveur sans aucune tenue, cassoulet nul ! On est au pays du cassoulet, BRAVO !
Il manque un cuistot dans ce resto.
12/09/2024: Étape à Castelnaudary sur la route de Paris. Quel plaisir de dîner au bord du canal du midi par une belle soirée. Accueil sympathique et service rapide. La cuisine est simple mais correcte pour un prix raisonnable. Et comme je vous l'ai dit au début un plaisir de manger sur l'eau.
