A cassoulet like you just don't find anymore.
Completely homemade.
Exceptional beans and broth, with a truly irresistible flavor;
an unchanging trio of ingredients: duck confit, confit sausage, and pork ribs.
Speaking of irresistible, we'll be back very soon... and who knows, maybe even by bike.

30/03/2026: Fantastic place, very friendly welcome and service, a great cocktail to start with and a view of the chef cooking succulent meats over his wood fire. We also enjoyed their cassoulet, a real treat, and to top it all off, the bill was very reasonable considering how much we enjoyed this excellent lunch. A top-notch place, without hesitation :-)

22/03/2026: Absolutely fantastic! 🤩 I love this restaurant: the cuisine is both modern and delicious, and you can taste the care that goes into every dish. The staff is truly top-notch, welcoming and professional, which makes all the difference.
The atmosphere is wonderful and the setting is simply fantastic—you feel comfortable from beginning to end.
I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back! 👌

A warm atmosphere, background music, a very pleasant and comfortable setting—everything we love.
A smiling, energetic waiter with excellent advice and, above all, very attentive to his customers.
The food was high quality; we thoroughly enjoyed it.
In short, I highly recommend it.
We will definitely be back.

Clean and well-equipped room.
The meal was simply excellent (homemade cassoulet).
Friendly and attentive staff.
In short, a VERY GOOD PLACE TO STAY.

11/03/2026: A big thank you to Enzo who was incredibly efficient with the service, as I was in a hurry. I highly recommend this place; the cassoulet was excellent and the main course was very good.
07/03/2026: A great place to eat in Castelnaudary. The food is good and beautifully presented. The cassoulet was particularly delicious. The restaurant is very spacious, both inside and out. There's also a bar. The service is quite fast.

It's pure madness to stumble upon such a restaurant in Castelnaudary.
Don't hesitate: you'll be blown away!
The chef? A real character—like Obelix, he fell into the kitchen as a child.
The welcome and service are absolutely wonderful, sincere and warm.
And the cassoulet… a symphony of flavors!
A huge thank you to this magnificent conductor, a true master of cassoulet.
I can't wait to go back and make my taste buds sing again!
28/10/2025: We had booked a lunch table and received confirmation from the manager. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. We waited for over 15 minutes beyond our reservation time, but there was no sign that it would open.
I do not recommend it.

30/03/2026: We ate cassoulet last night and were very disappointed; it lacked flavor, the beans on top were overcooked and therefore very hard. The starter and dessert were good. The waitress was friendly.

On se sent très bien dans ce petit resto avec la présence de mamie et l'amour et le respect de sa petite fille
On repassera avec un grand plaisir
25/07/2024: Nous venons depuis toujours dans ce routier. A midi, le menu à 15€ entrée plat dessert vin compris. Service rapide, jolie rerrasse à l'arrière. Atmosphère familiale. Bon, copieux, pas cher. C'est trop bien.

29/06/2024: De passage, nous souhaitons déjeuner pour déguster le cassoulet de Castelnaudary. L objectif à été atteint car nous avons apprécié le CASSOULET avec sa salade, excellent. Un café gourmand pour clore le repas composé de 4 desserts différents également succulents.
Vous êtes servis sur une nappe blanche, serviette tissu, très apprécies et la bonne humeur et le professionnalisme des personnels ne font qu agrémenter votre repas.
Bonne maison.

20/09/2024: C'est dommage ! L'endroit est très sympa, sur une péniche, sur le canal du Midi à l'ombre des parasols, que demander de mieux quand il fait chaud, c'est super agréable...
La magie s'arrête là ! Côté cuisine, déception !
Gambas insipides, entrecôte sans saveur sans aucune tenue, cassoulet nul ! On est au pays du cassoulet, BRAVO !
Il manque un cuistot dans ce resto.
12/09/2024: Étape à Castelnaudary sur la route de Paris. Quel plaisir de dîner au bord du canal du midi par une belle soirée. Accueil sympathique et service rapide. La cuisine est simple mais correcte pour un prix raisonnable. Et comme je vous l'ai dit au début un plaisir de manger sur l'eau.
