La Stub des Gourmets
Obernai
14/08/2026: Highly recommended! Well worth the effort.
11/08/2026: A delightful discovery tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac: delicious, generous portions prepared with quality ingredients and beautifully presented, accompanied by a very decent glass of house wine.
We were comfortably seated outside in a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was very pleasant. This place is definitely worth a visit.

29/08/2026: I particularly commend the young man who welcomed us with professionalism and, above all, kindness and courtesy, as it was our first experience in a Michelin-starred restaurant. A perfect 20 out of 20 for him! The cuisine was full of wonderful discoveries. Thank you to the entire team!

Maison Alsacienne de Biscuiterie
Obernai
05/09/2026: I rarely give 5 stars, but this establishment deserves it.
They practice a craft that's almost impossible to find in France anymore: creating biscuits and candies. With supermarkets increasingly dominating the market, it's a pleasure to stumble upon this kind of business that preserves such important skills.
Their biscuits are delicious, and they also make a few other candies and other products.
I highly recommend going there to replace your store-bought cakes.
A small parking lot is available right in front.
27/08/2026: Delicious macarons in a wide variety, and the traditional Bundt cake is also incredibly tasty. The different cookies (we bought several mixed bags) are truly exquisite.
Plus, the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
In short: Anyone visiting Obernai absolutely must stop by this biscuit shop.

Creperie La Suzette
Obernai
20/08/2026: Doesn't allow children.
Too bad, it looked good.
It's shameful not to allow customers with children.
There was plenty of space inside, even a spot for a stroller without it blocking the aisle.
The waiter's only excuse was, "It's too complicated."
If you have children, avoid this place.
17/08/2026: We stumbled upon this fantastic crêperie and weren't disappointed at all! The ratatouille Provençale was excellent, and the crêpes cordon bleu and burger were very good and generously filled. The atmosphere was super friendly. We'll definitely be back in the area next time! 😊

A la Soupe à Mémé
Obernai
23/08/2026: We waited a bit between the entree and the main course but the chucrute was excellent and fresh and they offered us coffees for the wait
22/08/2026: It's not my style to leave reviews when I'm a little disappointed, so if I'm doing so today, it's solely to inform the establishment, not to criticize them. We were greeted at lunchtime today by the head waiter (I think), who was very unfriendly… and unfortunately, he quickly made me feel uncomfortable because of my 3-month-old baby's stroller. I'm aware that this kind of thing can take up space, and that's precisely why I made sure to place it as close as possible to our table so as not to obstruct the passage. The appetizers weren't even on the table yet when the first comment was made. At that point, I could have just gathered my things and left. But never mind. We ordered. The music was a bit loud for this small room, which served as a passageway to the restrooms and another room, but never mind. The meals arrived, the galettes were very good, but unfortunately the raw vegetables... there was a considerable lack of dressing... and I'm not sure it's a matter of taste... there was practically none. The table next to us made the same observation. (But that's a minor point). I only want to emphasize the service... and I would have understood if there hadn't been room for a stroller in the dining area; in that case, we would have looked for another restaurant. It was my first time dining out with my son. I didn't feel comfortable at all. It's a shame.

Les Remparts d'Obernai
Obernai
28/08/2026: We had incredibly delicious food two days in a row, even, because we wanted to try other things on the menu. Super service too.
27/08/2026: We came to Obernai for the first time. We booked a table at the restaurant Les Remparts and received a very warm welcome. Our waitress was lovely! Above all, we had a delicious meal. La Cloche
Obernai
26/08/2026: This place is great. Very welcoming. Very friendly. I'd recommend it to others and share it. Very well located. Very nice bell, lol. 🤣🤣🤣 Very comfortable seating.
25/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome at this small, typical restaurant. The onion tart was very good and the raw vegetables were well-seasoned, although we were quite surprised not to have the same salads on both plates 🤔.

L'Osmose
Obernai, 30-45€
27/08/2026: From the service to the food, everything was perfect; our meal will remain an unforgettable culinary experience.
Well done!
16/08/2026: The all-inclusive offer is very attractive for refined and delicious dishes. The service is perfect and friendly. However, there were no amuse-bouches with the aperitif, and the small cake served with coffee was pathetic. This is a shame and not up to the standard of a fine-dining restaurant. Another drawback is that the menu doesn't change for over a month, and only one dessert is offered with no other options.

Hotel Restaurant a la Cour d'Alsace
Obernai
31/05/2026: Our recent stay at Hôtel À La Cour d’Alsace in Obernai was a very pleasant experience. We drove from Germany and found the hotel relatively easy to locate despite its position within the historic town center. The narrow one-way street leading to the property is clearly signposted, and guests can either drive directly into the hotel courtyard for check-in or use the conveniently located parking area just before the entrance.
The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The receptionist spoke both English and German fluently, making communication effortless, and personally guided us to the entrance of our building. This thoughtful touch immediately set a positive tone for our stay.
The hotel itself is charmingly laid out, with rooms distributed across several interconnected buildings. We stayed in the newer section adjacent to the swimming pool, which proved to be an excellent choice. Given the unusually warm weather for late May, with temperatures reaching 31°C, the built-in air conditioning was greatly appreciated and ensured a comfortable stay throughout.
Our Deluxe Room was spacious, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. We particularly appreciated the separate shower and toilet areas, with the washbasin located in its own dedicated space. Practical amenities included a safe, an empty refrigerator, approximately ten clothes hangers, a hairdryer, a well-lit mirror, and a magnifying mirror. Bathrobes, towels, and slippers were also provided, making visits to the swimming pool convenient and enjoyable.
There were a few minor drawbacks. No iron or ironing board was available in the room. Additionally, the lighting controls were somewhat unconventional, using touch-sensitive switches that occasionally behaved unpredictably. A few ceiling spotlights were not functioning; however, the room remained pleasantly illuminated thanks to the abundance of ambient lighting.
One of the hotel’s standout features is its peaceful garden courtyard. Although the bar was not open during our stay, the reception staff were happy to serve drinks, which could be enjoyed outdoors amidst birdsong and tranquil surroundings. For a hotel located in the very center of town, this quiet retreat was exceptional. The main square of Obernai is only a two-minute walk away, making the location ideal for exploring the town on foot.
Breakfast was satisfactory but not particularly memorable. The hot selection was limited to scrambled eggs, spinach, and locally produced sausage pieces. The pancakes were served cold, which was somewhat disappointing.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hôtel À La Cour d’Alsace. Its excellent central location, spacious and comfortable rooms, free parking, effective air conditioning, peaceful garden setting, and friendly multilingual staff make it an excellent choice for visitors to
28/05/2026: We spent one night at this hotel.
The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot.
The rooms are simple, the bedding impeccable, the bathroom a bit dated.
Breakfast is plentiful, but nothing is homemade.
Regarding the spa, only the pool and sauna were open. There was no bar service available other than self-service tea. If you're looking for a "spa," look elsewhere.
