30/12/2025: The setting is lovely; it's quite unusual to be in the opera house for brunch, with its high ceilings and relatively few tables, making the space feel pleasant. The service was average: a rather inattentive and almost nonchalant waiter. We waited an hour and 25 minutes to be served, even though there were only four of us and we ordered the standard menu, which consisted largely of cold dishes, so there was no justification for such a long wait. The quality is acceptable for €30, but given the location, one expects better (concentrated orange juice from a carton, mass-produced pastries, etc.), even if it means paying a few euros more. One positive point: a nice selection of teas, which were very good.
28/12/2025: The atmosphere was icy, and not just because of the temperature. The restaurant was clearly closed for holidays after our visit, but still: no more beer, half the menu unavailable, no desserts, and they wouldn't accept our lunch menu... In short! A waitress was juggling service and cooking (she was friendly, though) while the owner was busy drinking at the bar... We waited and waited and waited...! Cold sausages, potato salad that looked like it came straight from a pre-made container, two tiny pieces of avocado in the sandwich, and warm apple juice that had clearly been brewing for days...
We chose this restaurant over the baguettes from the Christmas market... What a disappointment!

28/01/2026: Quite a nice place, I was here with a big group and I didn't pay for the room myself, so I can't say if this had any impact on my review. The room was quite nice, a bit strangely laid out and there was nothing in the bathroom to dry your hands on. Also, there was no locked place for luggage which you would expect from a hostel. I thought the breakfast was quite good, but I've had better. The service was nice.

05/10/2025: We loved this restaurant. Special mention goes to the attentive service despite having to deal with other customers, and to the perfectly cooked wild boar fillet. We will gladly return.

07/12/2025: I don't regret stopping at this restaurant, which has a warm atmosphere, a friendly waiter, and excellent cuisine, reflecting the spirit of Strasbourg and the Alsace region. Thank you for everything, and see you very soon.
23/09/2025: We immediately fell in love with the view from the riverside restaurant. The tartes flambées, the salad, and the drinks... in short, everything was truly delicious! However, we were disappointed by the service. The waitress was quite rude from the start, and because of this, we didn't even dare order dessert. She seemed to address everyone in the same way, so it wasn't personal.
One rather surprising moment: while advising us on our menu choices, she assumed my friend was Muslim and only offered dishes without pork...
Despite everything, I recommend this restaurant for its view and its dishes. As for the service, don't expect much—in fact, in Strasbourg, I've never experienced truly pleasant service!

10/12/2025: A 100% positive experience. The pasta was beautifully presented, the sauce delicious with quality ingredients (pieces of tomato, pronounced flavor), and the service very pleasant. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful. My baby and I both ate very well; both the main course and dessert were a hit! See you soon!
10/11/2025: Avoid this place! I bought a 460g box. When I opened it and saw the pathetic amount of pasta inside, I decided to weigh my meal. Imagine my surprise when the scale showed that my little box of pasta was only 260g instead of the advertised 460g… Times are tough, maybe, but being such a cheapskate over a small portion of pasta is petty…

We ordered a burrito, a "salad," and nachos on Deliveroo.
- First of all, the salad: a big joke, if not false advertising! I'm attaching a photo of the salad Fresh Burritos advertises on its website vs. the salad I received 😉
A disgrace. The salad is supposed to be in a crispy wheat tortilla, nothing. €10.50 for a cheap little salad that I would have preferred to make myself.
- The burrito: once the packaging is removed, the sauce leaks and drips everywhere, and the burrito is cold! We have to eat it on a plate, with cutlery (ciao Mexico 👋).
- Nachos: €3.50 a bag with 10 ridiculous chips, and of course the sauces were miraculously omitted 🤷
To top it all off, the restaurant is unreachable. Yet another franchise hiding behind a broken hotline.

The nice surprise was to have a beautiful Hélène pear served with excellent hot chocolate on the side, I appreciated it is rare.

18/09/2024: Cuisine trop traditionnelle !! Rien d'extraordinaire !! Le service est parfait mais ce n'est plus du tout l'ambiance et la chaleur JUNG ni même Franck Pellux et son épouse ! Les 4 verres qu'on nous a servi sont trop chers (78€) pour des vins sympas, (dont les locaux connaissent les prix pour les 2 verres de vins Alsaciens) mais pas extraordinaires et en quantités inferieures à ce qu'on trouve dans des restaurants similaires !! D'ailleurs la clientèle strasbourgeoise a l'air d'avoir déserté ce restaurant.
07/09/2024: Nous avons été avec mon frère pour fêter son diplôme. Nous n'avons pas décoller....L'accueil est parfait. L'équipe est au petit soin. Nous avons pris le menu découverte. Une déclinaison de vin et de boissons sans alcool. La sélection de vins était ponctuée de belle découverte. La déclinaison sans alcool n'a pas vraiment d'intérêt. Côté plat, des cuissons maîtrisées mais il ne s'est vraiment rien passé au niveau goût. C'était tout juste bon.

19/09/2024: Restaurant idéalement situé dans le quartier de la cathédrale. L’intérieur de style alsacien est pittoresque avec ses magnifiques vitraux.
Nous y mangeons à chaque fois que nous faisons visiter Strasbourg à nos amis, mais constatons que la qualité des plats a baissé ces dernières années. Cette fois-ci la quiche lorraine a été servie froide.
Le service n’est pas très souriant et surtout agacé lorsqu’en allant aux toilettes on les croise chargés de plateaux, mais les clients ne sont pas responsables de l’architecture des lieux et de l’étroitesse des couloirs…

Après un voyage de 17 jours en Alsace et de nombreux restaurants on peut comparer .mauvaise cuisine , une honte pour les nombreux touristes .la plus mauvaise choucroute du voyage ( Mulhouse, Colmar strasbourg) , fromage blanc alsacien en quantité réduite, plus mauvaise soupe a l ' oignon jamais mangé. Recommandeépar guide vert Michelin et Gault et Millau!! Plaisanterie. Depuis combien de temps n ' y sont pas allé ?
Service pressé alors que presque personne a l 'intérieur.
