31/12/2025: Drawn in by the window display, I tried this pastry shop with its colorful but tiny pastries priced between €3 and €4, including an éclair with overly runny cream that threatened to ruin my clothes, and most notably, a galette des rois (king cake) for €20!! The filling was meager but quickly became cloying, perched atop an excessively flaky, carelessly assembled, and tasteless pastry base.

27/09/2025: It's good, but €6 a portion for maxi-eclairs for 6... more expensive than individual éclairs in Paris in the 16th arrondissement... it's up to you...

02/01/2026: Weekend Stay... For the deluxe room... Tiny room... Very little hot water... Very small shower... No bathrobe... No slippers... For the spa... Reservations by one-hour slot... In the end, the spa was packed, we couldn't do anything... Jacuzzi was lukewarm... No changing room... Meals... Apart from a room presumably reserved for Weekend Stay guests, the menu choice... On a simple sheet of paper placed on a board... with only two choices for the meal... No choice for the starter or dessert... The meal was deplorable and tasteless... Profiteroles for dessert... It's a disgrace to call them profiteroles... Two botched, flat cream puffs placed on a plate with a scoop of ice cream... The waiter was completely incompetent... And a meal costing 50 euros... You can eat better for less at McDonald's... Result: first and last time we'll come...

29/01/2026: The waiter was unfriendly; he made me sit at the counter downstairs, telling me there wasn't room for one person upstairs, even though when I went upstairs to the restroom I saw there were plenty of seats. He also complained when a woman who wanted to go upstairs to see her friends only ordered herbal tea and no pastries. Avoid this place.

10/03/2026: A 15-minute walk from the Zenith concert hall, so perfect; very welcoming, affordable prices, very clean and quiet room

08/03/2026: We had a VIP room for one night for a concert at the Zenith. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation for a concert in Strasbourg. It's very well located; you can walk to the Zenith in about fifteen minutes. The staff is fantastic, both at reception and in the restaurant. The room wasn't very warm when we arrived, so we went to reception to ask if it could be turned up. It was no problem at all, and the temperature was just right for us. Breakfast was also very good. In short, you can judge for yourselves, but for us, it will definitely be back for another concert. A little shout-out to the lady in the restaurant: sauerkraut will have to wait until next time!! 🤣 Mr. and Mrs. Remetter

10/07/2025: Disappointed. I had fond memories of this restaurant 20 years ago, but today, it's nothing like it. The setting is still very nice, especially the terrace by the Pont Vauban, but that's the only positive aspect. I had a Gamberoni pizza for €20.50: advertised with jumbo shrimp, you ended up with 5 or 6 basic, bland shrimp, a little arugula, two shavings of cheese... and that's it. The crust is okay, nothing special. Clearly not worth the price. It smells like a restaurant that's focused solely on its touristy location. Once, not twice.

03/02/2026: We ate the best beckahoffa there; the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was calm. I recommend it.

10/03/2026: It's 8:15 PM. I ordered a takeaway coffee, but he told me it wasn't possible because the machine had already been cleaned and they were closing at 10 PM. (March 10, 2026)

09/03/2026: We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. A big thank you to Myriam for her warm welcome and professionalism. She is always smiling, attentive, and very pleasant with customers. Her service was quick and always accompanied by a kind word, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It's truly appreciated to be served with such kindness, and it's rare to find such a lovely experience. Thank you to her for her cheerful disposition; my husband and I will definitely return when we are in Strasbourg. The setting is very pleasant.

06/02/2026: It's always a pleasure to stop at the Ciarus in Strasbourg, where everything is impeccable. The staff are friendly and helpful. :-) Kudos also for the winter décor, which is very aesthetically pleasing and quite poetic!

19/02/2026: Went there for dinner and had 2 pastas which were very basic and the pasta was unable to be eaten due to the terrible taste and quality of the dishes. The gnocchi was like golf balls. The staff were kissing while working which made us feel very awkward and uncomfortable. The staff were very rude even tho we had a booking they made it sound inconvenient. We got water as well which was undrinkable and had bugs in it. Looked like a nice resturant however will not be returning.

08/03/2026: We tried the set menu for two. Starter: Soup (one out of two servings was cold). Main course: Greasy spaetzle and venison stew...pieces of venison were cold in the middle of the dish. Dessert: Average French toast. Service: Our waiter was very professional. 👍

08/03/2026: Charming restaurant, quick service but the staff wasn't very friendly. The food was very good for me, but apparently for everyone else… My friend has had diarrhea for three days, starting right after our visit. Perhaps the food needs to be reviewed.

07/12/2025: I don't regret stopping at this restaurant, which has a warm atmosphere, a friendly waiter, and excellent cuisine, reflecting the spirit of Strasbourg and the Alsace region. Thank you for everything, and see you very soon.

03/02/2026: Excellent experience at the Hilton Strasbourg bar. A huge thank you to Ophélie, a fantastic bartender: professional, friendly, efficient, and with a genuine sense of service. The cocktails are perfectly crafted, and the warm welcome truly makes all the difference. You feel comfortable, well-advised, and served with care. I highly recommend it.

09/11/2025: We came for lunch and saw the menu outside. At lunchtime, they only offered a snack menu, which wasn't mentioned on Google or the menu itself. The wait was very long for a snack, which was pre-prepared and cafeteria-style. Coffee was €3.50, the most expensive in the area! Strongly discouraged!

25/02/2026: Super pleasant, a really cozy atmosphere, the waiters and waitresses are extremely friendly and responsive.
