01/09/2024: Disappointing brunch, expensive and without even a drink. Good food but no surprises. Very nice place though.

01/09/2024: It's very rare for me to leave reviews like this. But I hope it will be constructive and not badly received. The service was friendly, that’s a good point. As for cuisine and dishes (Sunday lunch brunch): Firstly we found the portions very small for the price! I paid €18 for an unseasoned sandwich, fairly dry bread and half a slice of ham inside. And €5.50 for a small cappuccino. We still found that the presentations of the dishes were very aesthetic, this “Instagramable” but at the expense of flavors which is a shame. I was able to taste the avocado toast and the Sicillian sandwich which were both bland.. we seasoned ourselves to have a semblance of taste. It’s a shame given the magnificent potential you have. I am taking the liberty of writing this review not to put you down but on the contrary to kindly warn you of what I felt, because unfortunately I would have difficulty coming back and so would my friends. 22/07/2025: We hired the Balagan team for our wedding and the result was perfect. Yannick offered us a varied menu, tailored to the occasion; everything was delicious, and our guests are still talking about it. Balagan's cuisine is everything we were looking for: vegan, simple, and thoughtful. Thank you to the whole team for your kindness. And on top of that, the restaurant in Marseille is a fantastic place to eat!

22/10/2024: Très bon ! Je recommande. Les produits sont frais et faits maison. Le poisson est délicieux. Le personnel est très professionnel et très serviable.

31/05/2025: A place where you can have a drink, buy cigarettes and eat well with a terrace, cheap value for money, you get what you pay for, very friendly and welcoming staff and the professional chef delights his customers, I highly recommend it, menu at €13 or €14, coffee plus an aperitif and a pitcher of wine around €25 or less, very pleasant

10/08/2024: We stopped for a beer while on a tour and shortly after arriving a “dodgy “ looking guy sat at the table right behind me. Our waitress, Anna, noticed him as well and asked him if he would mind moving to the other side of the table so she could better serve us. He moved and then quickly left after realizing we were on to him. Anna was our guardian angel as well as an excellent waitress! Thank you Anna for watching out for us!!!

08/08/2024: notre "cantine" quand mon amie vient sur Marseille. Un incontournable, proche du vieux port, cadre sympa autant dehors que dedans. Cuisine de qualité est cuisinée avec originalité, avec des produits simples. Rébecca au top humour et dynamisme permettant de passer un excellent moment. Et pour ne rien oublier la petite attention pour l'anniversaire de mon amie. Tout le personnel à l'écoute et très sympa. A recommander

02/06/2024: Dimanche 2 juin 2024 , nous n'avions pas réservé mais avons reçu un accueil chaleureux , les serveurs aimables et avenants nous ont servis rapidement ,Un point supplémentaire à Melissa qui a été au petit soin . Merci pour ce rayon d soleil de notre journée ; Le Caribou à recommander .
