26/03/2026: The service at the start was okay, the lady who greeted us and seated us was nice and patient. After we had a different lady who was our waitress and often had an attitude.. We waited at least 20 minutes for our food to come, and we were surprised as we had not expected our food to look like that. I ordered the lamb, and it looked dry, colorless and tasted bland and farmy (as if it were fresh out the farm, like you could taste the farm smell in a way), potatoes were cold, and the garlic sauce did not taste like garlic sauce at all. It was almost flavorless. My friends ordered the pork, and they had the same problem with their meat taste and look. It looked overcooked, and dry, and again with cold garnishes/potatoes. Then they had a mysterious purple like blob of something on their plate, and wasn't sure what it was as it wasn't even described on the menu. The ladies sat at the front desk/bar and had a view of us and kept watching us to see if we would like it or not. Once they saw that we weren't pleased with our food, they started talking to each other, and stared at us. Our waitress had to give another bottle of water at a table behind us, and she stomped and ran into my chair, I don't know if purposely or not. And 30€ for a plate of cold, dry food???? Not worth it!!!!! Tourist trap.

12/03/2026: We came here for dinner based off of the recommendation of our hotel and it was a short walk, which we appreciated. AMBIANCE: Upscale, beautiful and nicely decorated with a wood burning fireplace to take off the chill. SERVICE: We were a wee bit late but still warmly greeted by the manager, I presume. When we asked to switch tables we were met with a bit of resistance but we were accommodated, while our server looked on in disbelief. At that point our entire party saw the look of displeasure on her face and we saw the manager lady making fun of us; she surely didn’t think we would see her. When they saw that we caught them they quickly recomposed themselves but we already felt the fake vibe and we could tell that we were 100% an annoyance to them for sure. FOOD & DRINK: We started out with three appetizers of escargot, foie gras and a charcuterie platter with local meats. For entrees, we had chicken, Tripes and sea bass. We had a very lovely bottle of wine but we decided to forego dessert due to the uncomfortable vibe, and they did not hide their relief. The presentation of the food was nicely done but the taste was somewhat underwhelming, and given the price point and the forced service, it was a disappointingly average dinner. I don’t know that I would recommend this place but as always, please support your local small business! 3/12/26

11/03/2026: Hello, this is the second time I've ordered takeout. Each time they charge more than if I were eating in. So be careful when you pay. And the waitress was different.

07/03/2026: The best pistachio custard tart I've ever tasted. A charming and delicately old-fashioned setting to complete the experience.

25/01/2026: Having bought two Tradition pastries and two croissants today (Sunday), I am very disappointed. Why not put "Bakery, Pastry Shop, Masonry" on your storefront, given that the Tradition pastries look like two cinder blocks? Disappointed…

30/12/2025: Organic bakery in Bayeux High-quality breads and pastries. I highly recommend the raisin and hazelnut bread—it's amazing!!! The flaky brioche is worth the trip. Highly recommended!!!

15/03/2026: An exceptional restaurant, the food was top-notch, I highly recommend it and will be back soon.

14/03/2026: We loved it! The onion soup was delicious, as were the oysters. The wine was very good for being mid-range, and the service was exceptional. We'll be back!

14/02/2026: We ordered two Norman-style pizzas with a thin, very crispy crust, followed by a gourmet coffee and profiteroles for dessert.

27/01/2026: Fantastic restaurant! Warm welcome, lovely waitresses always smiling. The quality of the food is remarkable, with a large part of the menu made in-house. That's so rare these days, kudos to the whole team!

14/09/2025: Very well received, the boss was pleasant, generous and delicious dishes. We will keep them as a souvenir.

22/08/2025: We called in for snacks before boarding our train. We felt like an inconvenience because we did not have cash and wished to use card. We spent 12 euros so not a complete fee wasting transaction

28/02/2026: The waitress was incredibly kind, helpful, smiling, and very attentive—a motivated young woman. However, the owner was extremely unpleasant to her waitress, bordering on disrespectful in front of customers, which could be humiliating for the waitress. Given the owner's behavior, which clearly shows a lack of respect for her employees, I do not recommend this place.

27/12/2025: Very disappointed. The waiter was barely friendly, and the service was poor: he didn't offer water or any other drinks. After our savory crepes, he didn't even offer a dessert menu or coffee! We paid and left. I definitely don't recommend this place.

19/11/2025: I had a quick bite of a ham/egg/cheese galette, which perfectly met my expectations; the service was fast and pleasant.

25/10/2025: A table reserved two days in advance, arrived at 8 p.m. (reservation time) to find the door closed. Of course, without prior notice. Under these conditions, I wouldn't presume to judge the cuisine.

19/01/2026: Food poisoning after eating a quiche. The saleswomen are very friendly and the service is excellent. However, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. After eating a quiche, I suffered severe food poisoning. I therefore do not recommend eating quiches from this bakery.

01/01/2026: I bought a three-chocolate Yule log yesterday and it was really not great. Expensive and frankly not good quality. Since the owners changed, it's much worse, the cakes are smaller, and it's more expensive. Go figure! The waitresses were very pleasant, thankfully!

20/03/2026: Great atmosphere. Excellent food. I had a cheesecake with a red fruit coulis for dessert – absolutely delicious! 🥰

05/03/2026: A very bad meal: industrial ham cone, undercooked fries, béarnaise sauce that had been microwaved for too long, and an unpresentable and tasteless fish stew. We will not be returning, even though we live in Bayeux.
