20/11/2024: Excellent Restaurant with friendly service. We had the set menu at euro 24.50 for 3 courses or 20.50 for 2 courses which was good value and very enjoyable. The rest of the menu was pricey so very happy with the menu we had. We had the Cafe Gourmand at euro 8 which was very enjoyable to finish.
Wine prices a bit high but a picher of chardonnay was euro 19.50 for 50 cl which was ok.
Lovely restaurant overall.

31/10/2024: Restaurant propre et service rapide. Les plats servis sont basiques, peu travaillés et donc sans saveur. Le rapport qualité / prix reste correct.
17/10/2024: ¡No podíamos irnos de Normandía sin comer un crepé! Esta crepería se encuentra en un hermoso edificio de piedra adyacente a la catedral. Tenía un dulce crepé, y estaba bastante bueno. La única cosa que diría es que la cantidad de crema y chocolate en el crepé estaba casi por encima de la parte superior - mis arterias no me dan las gracias por comerlo!

18/07/2024: I was served by the owner who saw that I was a tourist and who tried to make me pay 5€ more on the total bill. Didn't apologize for her mistake but was clearly annoyed that I pointed it out to her.
Which is a shame because it was very good! I recommend Ste Eve but strongly advise counting again before paying!
04/07/2024: We got breakfast here for 2 days. Very friendly and wonderful variety and quality. The mini quiches were wonderful, along with all the pastries we tried.

23/08/2024: Very pretty pastry shop and tea room, we were very well received, the staff were smiling.
If we can, I think we will come back to try the pistachio flan which we unfortunately did not have time to taste...
Although a little expensive, but it's worth it.

16/08/2024: We went to eat ice cream (family of 5) in Bayeux and were really delighted with this place. The kindness of the waiters/waitresses, pleasant terrace and the places are clean (wc). The homemade ice creams on site were enjoyed by all 5 of us.

25/07/2024: A very good brasserie with home cooking and unbeatable prices. I highly recommend for a good meal without breaking the bank! (Lunch menu at 13.50 euros)

08/12/2024: Fast food of very good quality, also open on Sundays and there is a choice. We were very well received despite the fact that the manager had to resolve a problem with a group of around ten people who were visibly surly and in bad faith. In business as in life, respect is reciprocal and I have the feeling that the “goodwill” that appeared during Covid is only a distant memory. So this place is, for my wife and me, a place to remember.
10/11/2024: To avoid, or as a last resort. The prices charged (11€ for a complete pancake, neither very good nor copious, the green salad supplement at 2€50) are completely out of sync with the quality of the food and the place: large plates, tables that stick and above all a large hood problem. The room is filled with a thick smell of burning grease. The service is ok. We were with a small child who was hungry so no choice, otherwise we would have left.

17/08/2024: Nice location, very good food and raw materials. The vegetarian chili and creme brulee are delicious. Great choice of Calvados to try.
Correct prices.
Attentive and kind staff.
16/08/2024: Disaster kitchen and service?
At least teach your seasonal workers to serve correctly, there is a minimum!
And when you see a bar on your menu, please do not serve sea bream! We're on vacation but not idiots.

02/09/2024: Inexpensive, very friendly hotel in an ideal location right next to the train station. All of the city's attractions are within walking distance. The room is a bit old and quite small (shower and toilet were added later), but well maintained and very colorful. The mattress was comfortable. Since it was warm and we slept with the window open, the traffic got a little louder in the morning.
An inexpensive French breakfast was served downstairs in the relaxed bar, which is obviously family-run and frequented by locals in the morning.
The hotel has been family-run for several generations. The operator was extremely hospitable and had a lot of history to tell. He was also gallant and carried the heavy bag upstairs for our friend who was traveling with us.
16/08/2024: Very well received, with a smile the little dog in a stroller was very well received. The boss has a smile, the dishes are really fresh, the meat is perfectly cooked, blue as I like it and hot on the outside, the green beans are delicious, tender, I highly recommend.

17/09/2024: Wir haben hier am Mittag leckere Crêpes gegessen. Auf den Service mussten wir leider über 15 Minuten warten und auf die Bestellung dann nochmals knapp 45 Minuten. Das ist zu lange, auch wenn das Personal freundlich war.
29/08/2024: Pleasant waitress!!! The pancakes are very good, compliments to the chef!!! Fast services, a very good time.
