01/02/2026: A private room was booked for a fantastic birthday celebration; everyone thoroughly enjoyed the menu. The meat lovers especially loved the duck 😋🤤🥰. It was the perfect family meal, with loved ones, delicious food, and good wine.

29/01/2026: And here's a restaurant just the way we like it. You push open the door and the owner welcomes you like you're in the South of France. No need to ask for the menu; the owner, as always, will charm you like Alphonse Daudet recounting his Letters from His Windmill. Because when it comes to windmills, he knows his stuff! And let me tell you about his cooking, his beef, his pork, or his local poultry. And what's more, he knows a thing or two about cocktails, the rascal. After the duck hash, the hand-cut steak tartare, and the slow-cooked Norman chicken, the wine cellar makes an appearance at your table. We end with the owner's smile and tell ourselves we'll be back very soon. Thank you, Boss.

18/02/2026: A warm welcome, delicious food in a lovely and beautifully presented setting. The traditional tripe is delicious and the Norman apple tart is simply divine. Good value for money. Not to be missed.

14/01/2026: This Italian restaurant is a real gem! The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming, and you can tell the dishes are made with fresh, authentic ingredients. The spaghetti alla Gricia was incredible, a real treat, and the Dame Blanche for dessert was simply delicious. I highly recommend it!

17/01/2026: A very good restaurant with quality cuisine. However, we were bothered by the presence of a large, unleashed dog in the dining room. In such a small space, the smell and the airborne fur made the experience uncomfortable. As we are allergic, we unfortunately had to cut our meal short.

15/02/2026: An incredible experience at MAGMA in Caen with the five-course tasting menu… blindfolded! The ruse worked perfectly: I, who loudly proclaim that I hate fish, found myself savoring salmon, red mullet, and trout… and almost asking for more! 😅 It just goes to show, never say never… especially when the chef is behind the stove. Each dish was a surprise, a deliciously orchestrated little gustatory suspense. The service was discreet, elegant, and efficient—you feel supported without ever being intrusive. And a special mention to the chef, who circulated among the tables to gather feedback: a lovely human touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. In conclusion: I'm officially reconciled with fish… well, as long as it's at MAGMA! 🔥👏

From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome, and I was delighted to see Stéphane Carbone make my son his VIP guest for the day. It was an exceptional gesture, especially considering my son was just a little boy about to experience fine cuisine. There was so much emotion, so much attention, so much delicacy, and a genuine passion for sharing his taste for excellence, as he sat watching the kitchen brigade at work. Beyond simply being in an exceptional restaurant, we met a chef with a big heart and boundless kindness. A truly remarkable man who undoubtedly made this moment unforgettable, as my son clearly understood the special attention he received. I highly recommend experiencing this exceptional restaurant, knowing that its host is a man of true human values.

Free-range chicken with its exceptional sauce cut in front of me, (choice of piece and generous portion), mashed potatoes. For dessert, I fell for the chocolate mousse, beautifully presented, excellent! Great experience.
