18/04/2026: Delicious lunch here. Found it by accident while walking around Caen and we were really glad we did. The Rosti Savoyard was fantastic!

23/05/2026: A chef with a lot of potential, but too inconsistent: the amuse-bouches were uninteresting. The starters were delicious! The fish and meat were cooked perfectly, but the side dishes didn't live up to expectations. The cheese course was very good, but the desserts were average… it's quite strange; the chef clearly has a knack for it, and oddly enough, it only shows occasionally.

14/05/2026: Second visit to this small downtown restaurant. "Norbert" is as helpful as ever, and his food is delicious. A wonderful menu that's definitely worth exploring. His passion for cooking is contagious.

26/05/2026: Very good restaurant, delicious food, attentive waiter. The three-course meal (starter, main, dessert) is around €30 and is quite filling. You can order risotto, vegetables, etc., instead of fries. The risotto is excellent.

08/05/2026: It had been a while since I'd been to this bar, and the service has definitely declined in quality... We asked for a table outside from a waitress who seemed to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders. She made us wait for over 10 minutes in the rain, first to tell a story to her colleague, then to seat customers who arrived after us, and then to wander back and forth inside aimlessly, before finally announcing that the veranda was full and that she would check inside. Outside, there were two wet high tables that could have easily been wiped down... We came back a few minutes later, and the same waitress was sitting on the terrace, on her phone, feet up on the chair... It's a shame because the tapas are worth the trip.

30/04/2026: This evening we had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and were absolutely delighted. The host was fantastic: a warm welcome, kind and attentive, but never intrusive. His friendliness helped make the atmosphere even more pleasant, providing just the right amount of attention without ever forcing his hand. The food was simply exquisite. Each dish was prepared with the freshest ingredients, which was reflected in a delicious and well-balanced flavor. It's clear that the kitchen has a great passion for quality and a pursuit of authentic flavors. We enjoyed every course, from appetizer to dessert. The service was also fast and efficient, which made our experience even more enjoyable. There was no unnecessary waiting, but neither did we feel rushed: the pace of the meal was perfect. Ultimately, a restaurant I highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service, and, above all, cuisine that knows how to captivate. Thank you 🤍

03/05/2026: We went there last night, it was our first time since the change of ownership, and we certainly weren't disappointed. We had a superb meal. The cuisine was refined, and the chef, who also happens to be the owner, is very professional! This restaurant deserves to be better known! Keep up the good work, it's fantastic! 03/05/2026: The food is truly homemade, delicious, and bursting with flavor 👍👍👍, all at an affordable price. The owner and chef are very welcoming. I highly recommend it and will gladly return. They also offer takeout and evening service (new since April 2026).

25/05/2026: My goal was to have a nice time with my two sons in a good restaurant, and that's exactly what we did. All three of us enjoyed everything (the menu selection, the dishes, the service, and the value for money). It's an address we'll definitely remember because, while we love discovering new places, we also return to restaurants where we feel valued. The staff was incredibly attentive. They truly do everything to ensure the customer has a wonderful experience. A special shout-out to the waitress we made laugh with an unusual request—she'll know who she is. Again, we had a great time. I highly recommend this restaurant and even its bar area, having been there before during the day, just for a quick coffee. See you soon!

10/05/2026: On Sunday, the opening hours were posted, showing they were open until 11 pm. Arriving at 5 pm, we were told we wouldn't be able to get a hot drink because they closed at 6 pm. Despite the gloomy weather, we ordered a cold drink. And when we returned around 6:30 pm, the café was still open, with customers seated at tables.... We must not have looked very appealing to them 😡

09/05/2026: I'm 42 years old, and this is the first time I've ever seen anything like this. I sat down on a terrace with my son and ordered a coffee. It was 6:16 PM, and they told me they wouldn't be serving coffee after 6:00 PM. I thought it was a joke at first, but it wasn't; it was serious. I haven't been back to Caen in years, and I'm not likely to be back anytime soon.
