19/09/2026: We discovered this restaurant online; it doesn't look like much from the outside, but you have to venture inside and you won't be disappointed. The owner and the waiter were incredibly attentive. We weren't disappointed with our choice at all, from the warm welcome to the high-quality food! A wonderful discovery that we'll definitely be back for.

18/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! A little outside the center of Caen, but well worth the detour! We had a fantastic time at Chef and his wife's restaurant. Exceptional value for money, with high-quality ingredients and refined, flavorful, and perfectly executed cuisine. The chef is incredibly attentive to his guests, with great kindness and passion. His wife provides attentive service and offers excellent advice on dishes and wines. An authentic, warm, and unpretentious place where you can truly feel the desire to please and offer beautiful cuisine. Thank you for your hospitality and congratulations to you both for this wonderful restaurant! We will definitely be back.

05/09/2026: A must-try restaurant. Everything is perfect. The setting in the glass-enclosed atrium is magnificent. The menu is efficient, not overwhelming with "15,000 dishes," which is exactly what we look for to ensure quality, homemade cuisine. Three appetizers (we chose the beef tataki and fried shrimp, both excellent), one daily special, and a special of the day, either meat or fish, all refined and original, at a very reasonable price, and in very generous portions (we chose the veal confit with tomato sauce, penne rigate, parmesan, and olives—simply divine). Complemented by a selection of more classic dishes, presented and cooked with exquisite finesse. Six dessert choices; we chose the cream puff with salted caramel sauce, also delicious. The service was pleasant and quick, and the waiters were incredibly attentive. We will gladly return as soon as possible. Thank you for everything. See you soon. Cécile

08/09/2026: I discovered this restaurant about two years ago thanks to a contest my mother won. We were lucky enough to enjoy the free family menu, and it was love at first bite. Since then, it's become one of my favorite places. The service is impeccable and quick, and the owners are absolutely lovely. The galettes are delicious, generously filled, and incredibly tasty, with a wide variety of both savory and sweet options. Today, for my birthday, my sweetheart and I went back. She hadn't been to the restaurant before, and she, too, was immediately charmed. I had a truly wonderful evening there. The owners were absolutely delightful from start to finish. And there's a small detail that might seem trivial, but it really touched me: my sweetheart wanted to put candles on my dessert. They weren't sure they'd have any, so they offered to go get some at the Carrefour next door so I could blow out my candles. They even came over to sing "Happy Birthday" when it was time to serve dessert. It might seem like a small gesture, but for me, it's exactly what makes the difference between a restaurant where you just go to eat and a place where you truly come to have a good time. You can tell the owners aren't just trying to make a profit, but that they genuinely care about giving their customers a wonderful experience and creating something special. And honestly, that really warmed my heart. I highly recommend this place. You'll eat very well, but more importantly, you'll have a wonderful time. ❤️

08/09/2026: I didn't know this restaurant at all, but what an incredible discovery! 🤩 My sweetheart and I went there for his birthday and we had an amazing evening. The service was impeccable, with incredible kindness and attentiveness from beginning to end. Between the main course and dessert, I went to ask the waitress if it would be possible to put a candle on my sweetheart's dessert. She replied, "It's good that you mentioned it, I don't even know if we have any... but if we don't, I'll quickly go buy some at Carrefour." And honestly, I found that absolutely adorable. The fact that she was willing to go buy candles just for us, to make sure the birthday went as planned, is really the kind of thoughtful touch that makes all the difference. ❤️ And let's talk about the galettes: they are huge and absolutely delicious! The crêpes are just as good. I ordered a gourmet tea so I could try a little bit of everything, and honestly, the cookie was delicious, the crepe incredible… even though it's "just" a sweet butter crepe 🤣 No, really, it was both excellent and an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to the chefs and thank you again for the exceptional service. You greatly contributed to making my sweetheart's birthday truly memorable. 28/08/2026: I thoroughly enjoyed my overall experience here. The server was attentive yet gave us ample space to take our time, never rushing us. The dishes were beautifully prepared with fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. The menu paired a fairly classic starter and dessert with a playfully reimagined main course. The portions were generous, and two details particularly appealed to me: the indie music playing in the background and the opportunity to watch the chef at work in the kitchen from our table. I highly recommend it.

02/09/2026: Went out looking for seafood and found this place. I saw a picture on the outside and knew what I wanted. I speak no French and the waiter spoke no English. He pointed to something on the menu and indicated it was for two. I order it and what was delivered was what was on the picture I had seen outside! Hugh shrimp, tastey oysters and sea snails. They could have included horseradish and melted butter but didn't. I asked and was only able to get melted butter. It was more food than my wife and I could eat! After dinner, we walked in to pay and the owner gave us some apple liquor which was very good. Nice place!

20/09/2026: We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The service was quick, even though the dining room and terrace were full. The whiting, served with a sauce and seasonal vegetables, was excellent! The dessert (a gourmet coffee and chocolate cake) was equally delicious. We highly recommend this establishment to visitors to Caen.
