12/11/2025: I stayed there at least five times between 2003 and 2020. I was never disappointed, neither by the hotel nor the restaurant. The owners and their staff are lovely; they love talking about their region and their cuisine, and they enjoy getting to know their guests. It's a must-visit in Aubrac.

The staff are friendly and incredibly welcoming. You'll feel right at home.
And as for the food, it's simply delicious, a real treat for the taste buds made with simple ingredients.
I recommend this place 200%!

You'll be greeted by Aston, the restaurant's mascot.
A unique and charming spot,
located in the hills above Murat.

A superb experience; the meal was excellent and the welcome warm. Everything is homemade with fresh ingredients. The value for money is truly outstanding.
The host is very friendly and recommended some lovely walks for us in the afternoon.

22/02/2026: Very friendly place, no-nonsense, quick service, excellent meal with very good products and very generous portions. The team of girls, the waitresses and the chef are top-notch, pleasant, smiling, efficient and very friendly. And in addition to being from the Dordogne, we are practically neighbors when we chat. An address I highly recommend; they deserve it.
16/02/2026: Charming restaurant, very reasonably priced menu, good food, varied and original selection of hot drinks, top-notch service, and what's so lovely too, Chez Lucy is a tea room in the afternoon, I recommend the very crispy waffles and for those who like them...the matcha with plant-based milk if you're so inclined!

09/08/2025: How can we not be overly complimentary about this inn? ... Well, we can't. WHAT A JOY!!!
A magnificent setting, attentive and welcoming staff, a menu (single menu) that made our mouths water, a chef who only wants our culinary delight.
A delight with every plate, an excellent organic wine. This desire to stay until the end of the night, talking about the world with the owners and guests.
In short, we didn't just love it, we loved it.

23/01/2026: Lunch on Thursday, January 22nd. We were greeted and served by a wonderful, smiling young woman.
We came to this restaurant to try the roasted Saint-Nectaire cheese and we weren't disappointed.
We finished with the excellent homemade Murat cornets.
A short walk was in order afterwards.
This is a place we'll definitely be keeping in mind for a future trip to the Cantal region. Reservations are recommended.

28/12/2025: A very warm and attentive welcome, especially with two young children; everything was done to make them feel comfortable and enjoy an excellent lunch. A moment much appreciated by the parents and grandfather as well. The "pounti" was original and delicious, and the poultry, desserts, and Alsatian Pinot Noir were equally excellent.
