22/08/2026: A wonderful discovery... A very warm welcome. The foie gras is sublime, accompanied by a delicious salad. The Chardonnay is excellent.

19/08/2026: The food is top-notch and innovative. The welcome is warm. You can tell they love what they do. With them, you feel like you're part of the family. It's a shame Eva and Cedric are moving on to other ventures; we'll miss them. I've only been to their restaurant twice, but you always feel so comfortable in their company. Best of luck in your new roles.

20/08/2026: Passing through the town of La Rézentières with our family, we had the pleasure of meeting Lionel, the owner, and his wife. We enjoyed some local drinks (beer and Auvergnat cola). They gave us excellent advice for exploring the surrounding area and recommended places to visit. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to stop by the pétanque court on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Good times and fun guaranteed! Simon Le Normand

04/07/2026: The welcome was perfect, the room spacious, impeccably clean, and the bed very comfortable. We had dinner there, which was very generous and excellent. Located in a quiet, pretty little village, we highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

27/08/2026: While visiting the area with friends, we enjoyed a few relaxing hours in the spa. We left feeling refreshed and delighted: everyone was very attentive and caring, and the space was clean and very well-equipped. Don't hesitate!

21/07/2026: While passing through Salers, we had dinner one evening at the hotel restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was attentive, and the dishes were well-prepared and beautifully presented. We savored the trout with julienned vegetables, and for dessert, we were delighted to discover a delicious blueberry flognarde that wasn't too sweet. The menu is competitively priced.

The cuisine is refined, generous, and full of flavor, featuring excellent ingredients and dishes that are as beautiful as they are delicious. You can sense a real attention to detail in the flavor combinations and, above all, a passion for cooking. The welcome is warm and attentive, the service pleasant, and the setting very inviting. Everything is in place for a truly excellent experience, from the appetizer to the dessert. A truly wonderful restaurant in Aurillac, where the food is exceptional. We will definitely be back!

05/09/2026: A fantastic stay in a wonderfully rejuvenating setting, surrounded by mountains 🏔️, with only the sound of Salers cowbells at night 😁 Incredibly relaxing, a truly wonderful week's holiday. The little holiday chalet was very practical and functional!! The owners are wonderful, so kind and friendly 🤗 And the food at the inn was absolutely delicious 😋 We highly recommend it, a complete change of scenery guaranteed!! 🥰 Mr. and Mrs. A and their dog 🐶

28/05/2026: A truly enchanting interlude. You'll be pampered by the owner and her sister. An unforgettable meal awaits you in a restaurant worthy of a Michelin star. The rooms are clean, though perhaps lacking a touch of modernity, but the rest of the experience more than makes up for it. A garage is available for motorcyclists. You can book your stay with half-board and enjoy a unique experience in terms of both the restaurant and the warm hospitality of the owners.

21/02/2026: A great stop in Pierrefort! A very warm welcome in a splendid setting; excellent lunch, fresh produce, and reasonable prices. Definitely not to be missed! We didn't stay overnight, but we'll do that next time 🙂

25/05/2026: An exceptional weekend for our group! We just spent an extraordinary Pentecost weekend exploring the Cantal region, and our accommodation at Gîte du Lac de Madic played a huge part in that! We were a group of 15 motorcyclists, and the experience was simply perfect from beginning to end. A huge thank you to C and L, who are wonderful hosts. Their warm welcome and great kindness immediately put us at ease. Special mention goes to their culinary talents: they provided us with pure moments of pleasure around the table. This gîte is truly the ideal place for groups who appreciate authenticity and excellent homemade food! As for the accommodation, it was absolutely flawless. Everything was top-notch: the rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. It was a magnificent discovery and a dream base for exploring this beautiful region. We wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for friendliness, comfort and sharing!

25/09/2026: We fell in love with the town! We also loved the restaurant and its staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We appreciated the small terrace, where we were able to enjoy a quiet, shaded moment with our dog. Unfortunately, we missed the Cornet Festival, which took place the following week, but we still got a wonderful glimpse of this tradition.

23/09/2026: Welcoming waitress, good cider. However, I found the crepes lacking in character, especially the vegetarian one.

02/09/2026: A very warm welcome. An excellent gourmet experience at a reasonable price. Regional products. Dining on the outdoor terrace in a charming cobbled alleyway was a delightful and unique experience. There was a bit of a wait due to the restaurant's popularity. Recommended by the manager of the sports shop a little further down the road. Thank you to him. And congratulations to the restaurateur. Bonus: dogs are welcome.

28/08/2026: Visiting Salers today, we had lunch in this lovely restaurant under the fireplace in plush armchairs. The waitresses were friendly, smiling, and attentive yet discreet. The quick service was much appreciated. The Trilogy and Auvergne salads were divine, and the lemon and blueberry bourriols were very good. What more can I say? A superb meal, a 5 out of 5 for quality and price, a wonderful experience. In short, I highly recommend it... Have a good evening. Mr. Jonnard
