04/08/2026: Such a lovely artisanal beer bar, great service and drinks. We didn't eat there unfortunately hence my rating. Will definitely go back next time we're in Paris.

25/07/2026: I make sure to come here every time I’m in Paris. Fantastic people who work here and the beer offerings are always a wonderful range of quality brews. Relaxing atmosphere with street seating. Get off at Cadet (Metro 7) and make the short walk- you won’t be disappointed.

13/07/2026: The welcome is wonderful, the golden-brown galettes are delicious and prepared with love. The small glass of rosé is perfect, and the ice cream is excellent. The owner (Julien) is lovely and very attentive to his customers. I highly recommend this place.

09/08/2026: Bravo! We went there because on a Sunday evening, not much was open, and... what a pleasant surprise! The staff were outstanding. "You might have to wait because we're very busy." They warned us right away, which isn't always the case. And so it was indeed very busy, but the staff were all incredibly helpful, friendly, and always smiling. And what about the food? Well, it was good, local products, simple, and very tasty. In short, a pleasant surprise.

17/07/2026: If you love crepes, this restaurant is a must. The crepe was excellent, especially the one with blue cheese sauce. And the dessert crepe was chocolate. You can taste the quality of the batter. I'll definitely be back.

02/06/2026: To visit the Cantal region, we chose Nathalie and Lionel's inn. We were welcomed with smiles and kindness. The service was top-notch. The room was comfortable and everything was very clean. We discovered delicious dishes prepared and explained by Nathalie. We appreciated their humor, their explanations about local attractions, and the Tuesday evening game of pétanque. A big thank you to you both for these relaxing and convivial moments.

30/05/2026: We stayed in a very pleasant room for one night, with a comfortable bed, a clean room, and a peaceful atmosphere. The icing on the cake was that I slept in a former school, in the teacher's room, which had been renovated, of course. We had dinner and breakfast there, all homemade and delicious. A real treat! Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive. The village of 200 inhabitants is truly ideally located for exploring the region by car or for beautiful hikes. The scenery is magnificent and rejuvenating. You can also ask Nathalie and Lionel for advice. We will definitely return as soon as we go to the Cantal region. I highly recommend it. Go there; you will be delighted both with the food and the sights in a comfortable and welcoming setting.

21/07/2026: While passing through Salers, we had dinner one evening at the hotel restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was attentive, and the dishes were well-prepared and beautifully presented. We savored the trout with julienned vegetables, and for dessert, we were delighted to discover a delicious blueberry flognarde that wasn't too sweet. The menu is competitively priced.

15/06/2026: Booking made by phone using the Logis Hotels guide. The hotel is very well located. Excellent welcome. Spacious room. Very good food. Next time, I'll take advantage of the spa.

28/05/2026: A truly enchanting interlude. You'll be pampered by the owner and her sister. An unforgettable meal awaits you in a restaurant worthy of a Michelin star. The rooms are clean, though perhaps lacking a touch of modernity, but the rest of the experience more than makes up for it. A garage is available for motorcyclists. You can book your stay with half-board and enjoy a unique experience in terms of both the restaurant and the warm hospitality of the owners.

25/05/2026: An exceptional weekend for our group! We just spent an extraordinary Pentecost weekend exploring the Cantal region, and our accommodation at Gîte du Lac de Madic played a huge part in that! We were a group of 15 motorcyclists, and the experience was simply perfect from beginning to end. A huge thank you to C and L, who are wonderful hosts. Their warm welcome and great kindness immediately put us at ease. Special mention goes to their culinary talents: they provided us with pure moments of pleasure around the table. This gîte is truly the ideal place for groups who appreciate authenticity and excellent homemade food! As for the accommodation, it was absolutely flawless. Everything was top-notch: the rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. It was a magnificent discovery and a dream base for exploring this beautiful region. We wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for friendliness, comfort and sharing!

04/08/2026: A very warm welcome, divine cuisine, the food is absolutely delicious. The service is a little slow, but that's to be expected with tourists. Otherwise, we have absolutely no regrets. You can go there. The Auvergne ham and the truffade are excellent. The truffade is a real treat.

01/08/2026: We live near Salers and honestly, we usually always recommend La Diligence to our friends, family, etc., but we won't be recommending it anymore. We went to the terrace to have two Cokes and two ice creams. A Dame Blanche and a Banane Dili. First of all, both desserts were served with coffee sauce on top, and no one informed us of this extra charge (it wasn't on the menu). We don't like it. The hot chocolate wasn't hot at all, it was hard... Personally, I found a yellow piece stuck to the side of my ice cream, and when I told the waiter, his response was rather disturbing: "It might be mango." What's mango doing in a Dame Blanche? Was the glass clean? We'll never know, they rushed to take our payment without any gesture of goodwill, just a brief apology and justifications like the coffee sauce was "on the house" and the chocolate had "set with the ice cream" in 30-degree heat. I'm still skeptical. It's a shame for an establishment with so much foot traffic.

24/05/2026: A very nice restaurant that hasn't changed in years. The only downside is that I left after a full meal and was still hungry. Perhaps it's a Proustian madeleine, but it didn't seem that way to me a while ago.

21/05/2026: Superb hotel-restaurant-wellness center 👍. Excellent welcome, the whole team is fantastic and very friendly. The food is on par with the best chefs. High-quality wellness services, very good, and the facilitator was very professional and friendly.

13/08/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the nearby lake. What a lovely surprise! The staff were very welcoming (even my dog ​​got a bowl of fresh water), the meal was excellent and very good value for money, there was a small shaded outdoor terrace, and the restrooms were very clean. 08/08/2026: Overall, we enjoyed our meal, but unfortunately, several disappointments piled up throughout. The warm goat cheese salad wasn't really a warm goat cheese salad at all, but rather a salad with a goat cheese puff pastry. We also ordered the Cantal burger, but the Cantal cheese was missing and replaced with simple slices of cheddar. A shame, especially since cheese is advertised as a key ingredient. On the other hand, a special mention goes to the blue cheese sauce, which was truly excellent! As for the sweetbreads with morels, the pea purée was very good, but its flavor was so overpowering that it completely masked the taste of the sweetbreads and morels. Moreover, the portion size was very small for a €26 dish. The value for money seemed a bit poor. The same was true for the desserts: €10 for two prunes seemed quite expensive. The fruit cup of the day was unfortunately not up to par either. And the whipped cream, probably from the last of the tub, had lost much of its fizz. We also discovered that the small cake meant to accompany dessert hadn't been served: we were simply told it was "an oversight." It's a shame, we would have appreciated having the full dessert that was planned. In the end, the dishes were generally good, but all these little things combined left us feeling somewhat disappointed during the meal. With a few adjustments and a better quality/quantity/price ratio, the experience could have been much better.
