31/01/2026: It pays to arrive early. By 1pm the buffet starter was virtually all gone. Attentive staff.

28/12/2025: On the recommendation of one of our campers, four of us dined here. We had a delicious meal. One of the guests was vegetarian, and they even catered to that. This restaurant, located opposite Confolens train station, looks nice from the outside. When you enter, you're a bit startled (as a Dutch person) by the fluorescent lighting, but you can sit comfortably in the back. The food is really worth it, especially for the price! 15/12/2025: It was for a birthday. Victor and his father were lovely, as well as patient and helpful. Charming place, delicious food.

13/11/2025: We came as a family of 18 and frankly, we were all incredibly happy and satisfied with the meal. There was no waiting between courses; the gentleman who served us was single-handedly handling both the service and the kitchen. The portions were generous and catered for to everyone's preferences. And all this with a big smile! Thank you so much for this wonderful welcome and meal. I recommend this establishment 300%! And what's more, the gentleman is a photographer specializing in fine dining! 😉

13/02/2026: Fantastic experience at this burger joint! Everything was absolutely delicious. The burger meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The bun was fresh and soft. The cheese was generously added—a real treat! The service is very welcoming and friendly; you immediately feel at ease. You leave with a full stomach and, most importantly, in a great mood after your visit. I highly recommend it!

28/01/2026: We stopped at this restaurant on our way back from vacation. We received a very warm welcome. The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. There's a large parking lot right across the street, even for very large vehicles. As an added bonus, our two cocker spaniels were welcome. We'll definitely be back.

21/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! It had been a long time since I'd been back to Angoulême. A great place that's not in the city center, but still easily accessible. In short, excellent meat, a great atmosphere, homemade fries... I was completely full by the end of my meal, and the price was reasonable! I had the 450-gram Charolais ribeye steak! You can go there without hesitation!

A warm welcome, a family atmosphere, and we thoroughly enjoyed simple, unpretentious dishes at a very reasonable price for this level of service. It's practically impossible, even beyond this region, and all this within the current lunchtime price range. It's so common to find frozen food that it's unbelievable. Starter + Main Course + Dessert, everything is fresh and delicious. Even the coffee is incredibly good. Flavorful, smooth dishes, prepared with love, that make your taste buds dance. Finally, a restaurant where the customer is respected, knowing they'll definitely come back. And all this with excellent service and a smile 😃 A big thank you 🤩 Highly recommended for all lovers of good, balanced, and smooth traditional French cuisine. Without a doubt, this restaurant is the best in the area, to be enjoyed without moderation.
