09/08/2026: Avoid the vegetarian casserole: it's just the side vegetables from the other dishes, served a little more generously, with a small piece of cheese in the center and a sprinkle of sprouts on top. There's no point in offering vegetarian options with that level of effort.

02/08/2026: A gem in the heart of the village of Nonac, from starter to dessert, the Landes platter with its foie gras and duck breasts plus the rest, the flavorful lamb cooked for a very long time accompanied by homemade fries and vegetables, and the orange French toast dessert which is delicious and delicate and prepared with care, a big thank you to the chef for this generous cuisine and to the waiter for his welcome, we will return without hesitation.

From the moment we arrived, the exceptional welcome and the quality of service immediately put us at ease. You can feel the dedication of the team, their attentiveness, and their genuine concern for the well-being of their guests. The impeccable, clean, and comfortable rooms made our stay particularly enjoyable. The building's characterful architecture adds an authentic charm that makes you want to return. As for the restaurant, we have nothing but praise: the food is excellent, generous, and perfectly executed. Every meal was a delight. In short, we loved this place. An address we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return.

26/05/2026: I was in Cognac for work as a photographer, and I had the pleasure of spending the night in this magnificent hotel right in the city center. A huge thank you, especially to the young man at reception who was working on May 22, 2026. Thank you so much for all his attentiveness and kindness! And what a comfortable bed! Pure bliss—we didn't want to get up. Everything was very clean and welcoming, and the restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

16/01/2026: A friendly place, everyone is pleasant. The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and very generous! The ingredients come directly from the producers (my beef was excellent ❤️ and the fries were homemade). I highly recommend it!

15/08/2026: We stopped by on August 15, 2026. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to have lunch at 2 pm on the shaded terrace. We appreciated the tablecloths and cloth napkins. The waitresses were very pleasant and the presentation of the dishes was lovely. We savored the heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella and tomato sorbet, the refreshing salad, and also the grilled prawns and duck breast with a delicious vegetable nest! Well done and thank you for your work!!

09/08/2026: Dinner yesterday at the Nanteuil flea market, where we were staying as neighbors. The service was friendly but haphazard, the food unpresentable and rather mediocre: greasy, soggy, and burnt fries to accompany fish and chips straight from the freezer. The same fate befell a hamburger from the same source, cooked to a stale, overcooked slab. No salad, no lemon, just a teaspoon of hollandaise sauce to accompany the meal. We skipped dessert and coffee. We won't be going back.
