A superb, absolutely incredible venue with a huge terrace for summer meals overlooking the lake and two smaller rooms for the evening (photos). 07/01/2026: It's always a pleasure to stop at this café when I'm in Paris. The owners are attentive to their customers and to the animals. The only downside is that the owners are UBB and Stade Rochelais supporters, but we can forgive them...

21/12/2025: Lovely place, great coffee and service. Super-friendly staff and locals. They’re dog-friendly as well. Highly recommend.

16/02/2026: A three-course meal (starter, main course, dessert, and a glass of wine) for €18. At that price, they even offer an amuse-bouche. The service was quick and pleasant, the dining room clean, but a little bland for my taste. The dishes were beautifully presented and excellent. The only downside, if I had to find one, was the parking.

20/01/2026: Excellent homemade dish. Lunch menu (starter, main course, and dessert) is currently €18. Good value for money. Only slight drawback: the portions are small for a hearty eater like me.

07/09/2025: Arriving around 2 pm during a road trip on an alternative route between Angoulême and Bordeaux, we received a very warm welcome. The owner, a true biker, wouldn't let us leave without lunch. A hearty and delicious lunch, served by his lovely daughter, will leave us with a memory forever etched in our hearts ❤️ Thank you, Blood Rapace's!

17/01/2026: My current favorite little eatery. They serve a single dish but are never disappointed. Original dishes every time. A very warm welcome. And on top of that, very good prices.

07/03/2026: For our fifth visit, it was just as perfect as ever. The meat was delicious, and the vegetable gratin was as good as always. The service was quick, even for a table of six in a full restaurant. We will definitely be back!

02/03/2026: We had a wonderful evening at La Cigogne. The new owners have tastefully renovated the establishment. The cuisine is exquisite and well worth the trip; kudos to the Chef! Special mention for the orange soufflé flambéed with Grand Marnier—a true delight! :) We'll be back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the terrace!

21/02/2026: Extremely disappointed. We booked a birthday meal for 12 people, and for a €50 menu, we received inedible foie gras, bland meat, undercooked vegetables, and a poached apple instead of a crumble. There were no tablecloths on the tables, and the hygiene was appalling. In short, clearly not up to standard! I will not be returning and would not recommend L'Atelier des Quais.

From the quality of the seating to the sound system, and including the quality of the wines and spirits, you'll spend a truly unique moment in this restaurant. Not to mention the wrought-iron rotisserie attached to the fireplace; in short, everything in this restaurant evokes refinement, quality, and expertise. As for the food, I won't even say a word; I devoured every single dish I was served. I'll let you discover this extraordinary culinary and sensory experience for yourselves!
