27/03/2024: Arriving Monday 26 around 5:30 p.m. we asked if there was a room left for 2 people. Answer ": it's the last one". without telling us the price or mentioning that it is a family room for 4 people. "and you're lucky it's a big room!!" Indeed a double bed and 2 single beds. The next day when paying the bill we have to pay €95 while a room for 2 is displayed at €78. After a justified complaint 2 days later, we are granted a refund of 17 euros. The breakfast charged at €10/person is of the same nature as at Formula1 and must be taken before 9 a.m....industrial jams..half a slice of ham....2 small croissants and of course lousy coffee in machine. I almost forgot: a shandy drunk in the room charged €8.50.🤣 We live in Evian, a tourist town: on the quays, facing Lake Geneva and on the terrace it's €5... So hotel to avoid!!

04/03/2024: Meal yesterday noon, Sunday March 3, 2024. First time for me. A modern and spacious setting, the park must be superb in the summer months. The menu is varied and surprising in terms of pairings. Excellent meal. Very refined. The service, very discreet at the same time but very attentive and attentive. 27/02/2024: While we wanted to visit La Chapelle troglodyte d’aubeterre, on drone, our stomach was crying out for hunger… at this time of year, almost everything was closed…. We ended up in this little cozy restaurant... in fact, after an explanation with our host, Catherine, an English extra, we learned that we were in the annex and that the large restaurant was opposite, on the other side from the street…. There were very few of us so we all chatted together… cool. Catherine served us a delicious lasagna with a good red pécharmant (half bottle for 2, great). Then I had a pavlova for dessert, to satisfy my sweet tooth and I was not disappointed.. A little coffee to finish and the bill. And Catherine kindly took me across the street to show me the other restaurant, the one which is open when tourists are present in this magnificent little village in France and classified among the most beautiful villages in France. So it was perfect before visiting La Chapelle and the small streets of this village. We will come back this summer to dine at Catherine's, adorable, charming and welcoming. Finally, you might think that the English don't know how to cook!!!! So, do like us, go and check for yourself I recommend

28/01/2024: I had been anticipating a visit to Cokotte for two years and was so delighted to have lunch there on the 28th. The standouts were the Cappuccino Dubarry, which I could have eaten for all three courses, and the caramel mousse, which I could have eaten for three more courses. Soooo good! Even the bread: perfectly crusty (but not too jagged) on the outside, and soft (not dry) on the inside. My lunch made me so happy! And the waitstaff were charming! I hope to come back next year!

20/03/2024: A superb address in the Crown! You have to reserve even at lunchtime, a restaurant with lots of people but where you are served quickly and well, Responsive and diligent cuisine, the tartare and the Burger are great! (The classics) I recommend it is a must on the place.
