22/06/2026: Excellent meal this Saturday, June 20th. Many thanks to Marie and her team; everything was perfect for celebrating a birthday at the market. Very professional in taking orders and providing excellent service; I highly recommend them.

07/07/2026: We ate the burger and salmon. Both tasted exceptionally good. Dessert was also very tasty.

14/06/2026: Food was amaaaazing. We both had a gourmet menu and we would give all of the dishes we tried (salmon + geese salad for starters, hamburger + steak for our main dish, and creme brûlée + strawberry meringue) a “dix sur dix”!! Lots of the sauces and ingredients seemed homemade (the mayonnaise and burger sauce), and the fresh vegetables in the salads were delicious. Will definitely return to this little gem if we ever stay close by again!

04/07/2026: Update: Very good restaurant, and superb welcome, attentive staff. That was in 2022. 2026: Very helpful staff, but the quality of the food has declined. There were four of us, and three were disappointed by the quality of the dishes. €30 for dishes with little preparation and serious doubts about the freshness of the ingredients. A shame.

05/05/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat there. Cuisine made with fresh ingredients, very good value for money. Efficient and friendly waitstaff.

29/04/2026: We had a pleasant time and a very satisfying meal; however, we could have done without the owner's very unpleasant remarks during payment and when splitting the bill. We didn't receive an invoice or a receipt. A rather old-fashioned way of doing things!

12/04/2026: Rustic restaurant, lovely atmosphere with a fireplace. Thanks to the chef, excellent cuisine, the tomato tartare as a starter was very good and very fresh. The rib-eye steak and lamb chops were flavorful and tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked. The homemade fries were very good. The desserts were delicious. A great evening, thank you to the restaurant team.

08/02/2026: What can I say? Nothing to complain about. A very friendly place, excellent food, a very warm welcome, and very friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

16/01/2026: A friendly place, everyone is pleasant. The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and very generous! The ingredients come directly from the producers (my beef was excellent ❤️ and the fries were homemade). I highly recommend it!

08/05/2026: The restaurant is spotless and clean, with a lovely buffet and excellent food! The showers are spotless and excellent! There's a large parking area for trucks and oversized vehicles. I highly recommend this place!

08/04/2026: Good evening. We ate there on Wednesday, April 8th. The service is generally good. But today, not so great! What's more, a driver parked across the road! I reported it to the restaurant, and their response was: "I can't see anything from here." So, I conclude that drivers do whatever they want! Furthermore, I told him he had to move. He refused. So, I parked in front of him. He got out of his truck and even tried to hit me! He wasn't even scared. See the photos.

07/01/2026: It's always a pleasure to stop at this café when I'm in Paris. The owners are attentive to their customers and to the animals. The only downside is that the owners are UBB and Stade Rochelais supporters, but we can forgive them...

10/07/2026: This haven is tucked away in the narrow streets leading to the St. Jacques gate and the Château de Cognac. Refined cuisine, attentive service. I was spoiled.

06/07/2026: A must stop if you’re in the area. Food was incredible (the riz-de-veau and the pain perdu are amazing). Top service. Highly recommended.

15/12/2025: It was for a birthday. Victor and his father were lovely, as well as patient and helpful. Charming place, delicious food.

13/11/2025: We came as a family of 18 and frankly, we were all incredibly happy and satisfied with the meal. There was no waiting between courses; the gentleman who served us was single-handedly handling both the service and the kitchen. The portions were generous and catered for to everyone's preferences. And all this with a big smile! Thank you so much for this wonderful welcome and meal. I recommend this establishment 300%! And what's more, the gentleman is a photographer specializing in fine dining! 😉

09/04/2026: Amazing food, well presented with fantastic options. Lunch menu really reasonable 3 courses for 15€! Great service and great food highly recommend. Beautiful location.
