Food had no flavour, bland, not spicy even though asked for ‘hot’, khaki coloured and curdled texture, no vegetables in sight - chicken jalfrezi. Tarka dhal - no flavour, hard lentils. Brinjal/aubergine bhaji - slosh, khaki coloured again, tasted of nothing. Chicken tikka masala - looked the part, again, no flavour. Very disappointed.

17/04/2024: Excellent French cuisine! Foie gras. St Jacques with porcini mushrooms, duck breast cooked in the fireplace. I overdid it a little, I admit. In the middle of the Cognac country. There were 3 of us, elegant desserts from the other guests and a range of top-level coffees. A bit of a wait for service but worth the wait. A lalande of pomerol on top. Yum long live France and deep Charente

18/09/2024: On vacation in Aunac as soon as we arrive we go to this small grocery store where they sell excellent quality products, everything is fresh, the fruits are exceptional and the owners are wonderful people who don't know what to do to please their customers
I absolutely recommend and look forward to next year.

Very enjoyable music and singing during breakfast. Very beautiful building of character, nicely decorated for the holidays. Very pleasant welcome and service. We recommend. If we return to the area we will stop again.

15/12/2024: Rather a fan of traditional French cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised! the crepes are good, soft and tasty. Less than 20 euros with a kir and a scoop of ice cream. I will come back.
