04/04/2024: We had decided to eat at a cheap restaurant. The Jacquemart is the ideal place, short map. This is simple and effective. Price more than fair, neighborhood atmosphere with its regulars. Lots of noise, comings and goings, endless discussions... yes, I swear, I heard that Paris is in a bottle ;-). In the end, a well-filled plate, with a taste of authenticity in the setting of a neighborhood brasserie. Don't look for calm and refinement! Here we serve you the right way, magical!

22/03/2024: It is delicious. It’s a shame that the welcome isn’t up to par! When I asked a question, I was sent to the board where "everything is written" then I chose the menu with an additional dessert. When I kindly point out the mistake in the dessert I am told “no no you didn’t tell me”. And then I have to pay for dessert again. Finally another waitress comes to the rescue and only charges me the extra. It ruined my meal. Not sure I'll come back. The service in a restaurant is for me at least as important as the dish served.

04/04/2024: Thanks to the team! At each of our visits, often on market days, we are very well received. The home cooking is excellent. The always smiling and efficient service. The products offered, meat, fish, vegetables, are of high quality and very well cooked. The producers chosen to develop the recipes are good choices. Because cooking good products makes a big difference for the consumer. Former small restaurateurs, we appreciate this quality at Chez Copains. The room is small yes but large covered and closed terrace is pleasant on sunny days. I read in a comment that the chocolate mousse served in a bowl was shocking! I am rather shocked to read this! The servers are running in all directions?? Well, yes, the room is small, which is understandable when there are people! Let's be a little less in the negative criticism it does nothing! I recommend this restaurant where courtesy, kindness, quality and professionalism combine! The lady and the gentleman with the blue shopping cart 😉

28/03/2024: We were offered a 6-course meal in this restaurant. The meal was very good, but personally a little too much on the plate. The snail soufflé and scallops were divine. The fish was a little overcooked for my taste as well as the Iberian pork. But we had a great time and the owner is very helpful.

21/03/2024: We went there for dinner. It was good overall. We focused on epoisse dishes. Epoisses eggs and Epoisses bourgiburger. It was very good, despite everything, we had difficulty finding the epoisses taste. It was clean and the service was very good and friendly.

06/03/2024: Good welcome Fast but efficient service Eggs meurettes with a good but barely hot sauce The marbled veal liver is cut too thin and therefore hard after cooking. As for the room, it is clean with simple decor. The chairs are comfortable Price wise it is reasonable

27/03/2024: First time and not the last in this Dijon restaurant. We are very well received there, the place is atypical and the menu displayed on the wall forms a pretty decoration. My choice fell on the canon burger at 19.50 euros. Everything is homemade! Bread "buns" from the local baker, epoisses sauce, fries, coleslow and even ketchup (delicious!). Meal ending on gingerbread with orange zest, at 7.20 euros, leaving a pleasant feeling on my taste buds. To summarize, this restaurant is a very good place for these burgers. I will go back very soon to try other recipes....

24/03/2024: Very good discovery! The burgers were really excellent and our reservation was made very easily. The service was long, but the wait was worth it. We were perfectly at ease in the basement room.

30/03/2024: We had dinner here- food was good however service was pretty bad. We wanted to order one 4-course menu and add actual starter- we confirmed with waitress multiple times. The waitress herself even said this is a lot of food. However when the food actualky come, we were served for two 4-course menu. I was very confused when we have two same main course and waitress told me because I ordered two 4-course menu. She said portion is small so two 4-course menu are just enough for two person- this is controversial to what she said at the start. She then started said that set menu is per person and it’s minimum two persons- this isn’t what written on the menu and this isn’t what we asked for. If we knew it’s set menu per person we wouldn’t order set menu. Waitress keep argue with me with smile, she insisted that I was wrong as she would’t take wrong order. We keep explain that we are two girls and we cannot finish four main courses two starters and two desserts. She finally agreed that we can change to three course menu. During the meal, we ordered one bottle of wine however our glass was only refilled once. Wine bottle was kept far away from table so I cannot even come out refill myself. The service don’t match the price.

28/03/2024: My boyfriend and I came to celebrate my birthday, we ordered the 3-stroke menu, which according to the waitress was A LOT of food. The dishes took a long time, the service is average, you pay a lot for dishes that taste just ok, nothing memorable. In other words, a €100 menu in which the dishes are barely explained, the quantity is very small. It's not worth the visit, I certainly don't recommend it and I won't be returning. Ps: the egg starter is very good.
