28/06/2026: Inspite of being right next to the notre dame, this small restaurant was filled with locals. The menu is small, but to the point, everything comes out fast and is done well. We enjoyed the dish of the day and the beef as well as the salad with the gost cheese. The prices are really cheap too! Well worth it.

10/06/2026: First restaurant in Dijon. Wow, we could come here every day :-) The pulled pork is to die for. The wine selection is excellent; we particularly enjoyed the Pinot Noir from the Côte de Beaune (and no, not the Côte de Nuits, no big deal). A truly wonderful place where everything is carefully considered. The service is also top-notch. Highly recommended.

05/06/2026: Septime's new half-portions are a brilliant idea! It allows you to discover more dishes from the menu without breaking the bank, or to have more room for a delicious dessert ;) The portions are well-proportioned, the quality remains consistently high, and the experience becomes even more accessible.

17/05/2026: The meal was very good and the service perfect. The only downside was that it was far too noisy; we couldn't hear ourselves speak, even though there were two of us, which was very unpleasant. We were in the small room, which may have been poorly soundproofed. There was music playing, and two tables next to us were very noisy and inconsiderate. We cut our evening short, and the table of two next to us did the same. I think it's a shame the staff didn't try to quiet them down...when people repeatedly shout "Happy Birthday" at the top of their lungs, it's really unpleasant and doesn't give a good impression of your restaurant.

17/07/2026: After a sudden and impressive hailstorm in the middle of July, we went to Léon's for dinner. We chose a set menu, along with a main course from the à la carte menu. For our starter, the poached eggs in red wine sauce were delicious. The sauce, with its intense wine flavor, was absolutely perfect with the bread, and the egg added even more richness. The main course from the set menu was Léon's beef bourguignon. Again, a resounding success: meltingly tender and perfectly cooked meat in a rich, deep sauce with a pronounced wine flavor. In addition to the set menu, we also followed the chef's recommendation and ordered the braised sweetbreads with morels. If you enjoy offal, this is a very delicate dish, where the sweetbreads blend beautifully with the sauce, while the morels add a special touch. Honestly, I did find this dish a bit pricey considering the quantity and quality offered. To finish, we shared two excellent desserts: a wonderful crème brûlée and a delicious tarte Tatin with vanilla ice cream. The interior is small but pleasant, with little space between the tables and a calm atmosphere. The restaurant also has a large terrace. I especially want to emphasize the quality of the service. Due to the hail, the staff had to urgently move the customers seated on the terrace inside, even though our reservation was for a table inside. We waited about ten minutes while they rearranged the dining room, and they apologized repeatedly, even though the situation was completely beyond their control. Despite the obvious stress, they handled everything with great professionalism and care. The pace of the service was also very good, neither too fast nor too slow. In conclusion, I particularly recommend this address for its menu, which offers a very nice overview of local gastronomy, with generous and well-prepared dishes, as well as a real sense of hospitality.

06/07/2026: Arriving quite late during our lunch break, we still managed to eat, and it was very good. The daily special offers good value for money. The chicken leg was perfectly cooked, and the homemade fries were excellent. One small suggestion, though: try to choose better quality tomatoes. The ones served that day lacked flavor, a bit like some Spanish tomatoes. Otherwise, no complaints: fast service, friendly staff. I recommend it! 👍

05/07/2026: A lovely terrace facing the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. The service is friendly and efficient. The dishes we ordered were very good and fresh: lentil salad and steak with Époisses sauce. Superb, very tender meat and a delicious, well-seasoned lentil salad.

11/06/2026: Excellent! Delicious and generous cuisine! The Angus flank steak was incredibly tender, the potato gratin was perfectly cooked, and the dish was truly indulgent! The pavlova with red berries and lime zest was also light and flavorful. All accompanied by a glass of wine perfectly suited to my preferences, which I had mentioned. The cuisine is homemade using fresh, raw ingredients. The setting is elegant, and the staff is friendly. A great place with a view of the Palace of the Dukes! Good value for money.

23/07/2026: Overall, the food was delicious and well executed. However, what disappointed me was the service and the lack of attention to food safety. The Crab and Kaviari Caviar dish contained a significant amount of crab shell mixed into the meat. I found more than five or six pieces of shell in a single plate. At a Michelin-starred restaurant, food safety and attention to detail should be of the highest standard, and this fell well below those expectations. After I informed the staff and showed them the shell fragments on my plate, there was no apology, acknowledgment, or explanation. The server simply took the plate away without saying anything. What was even more disappointing was that the restaurant still charged the full price for the dish without offering any gesture of goodwill or attempting to make the situation right. Overall, the food quality was very good, but the service and the way this issue was handled were disappointing and did not reflect the standard I would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant.
