The quality ingredients and homemade quality really make all the difference, but there's also the expertise. It might seem obvious, but many establishments don't combine all three. Honestly, it's one of my favorite places, and I can't wait to go back.

29/03/2026: What a delightful experience! 😊 Having come to celebrate a family birthday, I must admit I wasn't disappointed by my first visit to the Auberge du Vieux Château. From the slice of foie gras to the array of desserts, including the veal rump with shiitake mushrooms, the quality was exceptional, both in the food itself and in the preparation, presentation, and service. 🧑‍🍳 The staff was very friendly and courteous. We were seated without a wait. Some dishes seemed to be taking a while, but considering the number of guests, the wait was actually very reasonable. 😌 The menu is designed to avoid long hesitation: two set menus at two different prices, but still plenty of choice to discover new flavors or indulge in a familiar dish. 😊 Now let's talk about the prices: considering everything mentioned above, as well as the decor, cleanliness, and upkeep of the premises, the bill is very reasonable. Although the establishment's "class" seems geared towards special occasions, I recommend the Auberge du Vieux Château without hesitation. Personally, I would gladly return. 😊

21/03/2026: Excellent restaurant located right on the seafront. Breathtaking view. Excellent cuisine made with high-quality ingredients. Beautifully presented. Regularly updated menu. Very pleasant service, as the staff are truly friendly and smiling. Warm and authentic atmosphere. Relaxing areas with sofas and armchairs to settle in and feel right at home. Board games available. Books and tea are available for purchase. We will gladly return.

06/07/2025: Tmm, that was awesome. The savory creps were a very balanced combination of different ingredients, and the sweet creps were so delicious that they made a terrible noise. I actually had to laugh because they were so delicious. The waitress was very friendly and handled the language barrier well, and she spoke good English. So if you're in the mood for a crepe and you're in Quimper, go for it. It's worth it, and by the way, it's in a cozy spot. Tmm.
