The place is still pleasant, but nearby, for a lower price, you can have a drink in a sheltered spot while enjoying an equally (or even more) exceptional view. That said, the owners and the waitresses and waiters are really charming and contribute to the warm atmosphere.

22/05/2026: Ty Pot is one of the must-visit spots in Carantec. With an upstairs terrace, a small street-side area perfect for drinks, and a large dining room featuring a magnificent bar, the restaurant offers a menu that changes daily according to the seasons and the catch. Plenty of local produce (delicious baby artichokes, perfectly cooked pollack) makes for a fairly varied yet simple menu. Ultimately, nothing exceptional, but the overall quality, attentive service, and reasonable prices make it well worth a visit.

24/05/2026: Disappointed with the food… despite a friendly welcome from the staff, we ordered the catch of the day. The potatoes were undercooked, or not cooked at all. And the sauce, which was supposed to be coconut and curry, was nowhere near as advertised. We had come two years ago and loved it, so we were disappointed…
