30/12/2025: Le Clos de l'Ecureuil: a setting, a warm welcome, a delight for the senses. Each dish enchants the palate, and the nose and eyes are filled with pleasure... a moment of pure bliss. Le Clos has been a part of our family life. While we understand that retirement will come one day, we'll have to do without it now, and we'll miss stepping through the door of this gourmet haven very much. Thank you both so much for all these shared moments.

21/03/2026: A very disappointing experience at this restaurant on March 20, 2026, at 12:45 PM and we left around 2:19 PM! See receipt! Upon our arrival with my husband, we received no greeting from the servers, and don't worry, they certainly noticed us!! In fact, we were the only attractive people on the terrace, where there was a palpable sense of envy, let's just say it was a spa-like atmosphere!!! This immediately gave a bad impression. This was our fourth visit!! We were seated from the start at a poorly located table, in favor of cafeteria-style tables with groups of people—shameful!!—in the shade, even though several sunny seats were available. We clearly felt that certain customers (groups, older people) were being given preferential treatment. The service was extremely slow, with a significant wait before being served. Fortunately, the server who took care of us and the payment was decent, but this did not make up for the rest of the experience. Regarding the food, a huge disappointment: the quality was very questionable. The meat didn't seem fresh, and the salad, advertised with "toast," was just plain white bread. Nothing like what was described. Most seriously, we both got sick after the meal, strongly suggesting food poisoning. Finally, the behavior of a staff member—an old waiter wearing a sleeveless puffer jacket, his face red, and a gold watch with a blue dial (so management could find him)—was unacceptable. He made shocking remarks, saying he only wanted to serve women, without any shame whatsoever. This kind of attitude is inappropriate and unacceptable in this type of establishment. The price was exorbitant: 59 euros for two meager dishes and two coffees! It's highway robbery! Between the lack of professionalism, the excessive wait, the poor quality of the food, and the hygiene issues, we absolutely do not recommend this establishment and we will never set foot in it again! This so-called restaurant has become a canteen; avoid it immediately, keep walking, it'll save you a stomachache!!

17/03/2026: We organized my boyfriend's birthday party at Maison Bronzini with a group of about 30 people, and everything went very well. The welcome was warm, the servers were very friendly, and the food was delicious. The mezzanine is a really pleasant space for a group, and the atmosphere was perfect for an evening like this. The communication beforehand with the person in charge of groups was also very smooth, which made the whole organization easy. We are delighted with this experience and highly recommend this venue for group events.

15/03/2026: Hello, a negative review for the person taking reservations. We booked for 1 p.m. and were told, "Sorry, we thought it was for noon," and were turned away. It's a shame because usually everything goes smoothly. They won't see me again.

But how does she manage to produce such a menu at this price? It almost seems inappropriate to leave a tip after such a gift. Love can't be bought.

23/02/2026: We had lunch as a family and enjoyed the lovely outdoor terrace. The menu isn't extensive, but it offers good quality food. Whether you prefer meat or fish, there's something for everyone. I chose the duck skewer, which I thoroughly enjoyed. There's a €12 children's menu. As for the food, it's a very good place to eat in Nîmes. However, the service was a bit slow. The staff seemed disorganized when bringing the dishes. The servers were still friendly, though. One small point to note: be sure to double-check the bill when paying. Two draft beers that weren't in our order had been added. A simple mistake can happen, but it's best to pay attention.
