10/08/2025: A place we love to dine with colleagues, family, or friends. The cuisine is excellent and generous, offering good value for money. A warm, friendly welcome and a very pleasant terrace are a real pleasure on every level.

12/09/2025: One of the few restaurants in the area open on Sundays, the food is very simple, the menu basic, but the food is decent. The place lacks lighting; fortunately, the tones are light, otherwise it would have been far too dark. The service was a bit slow for the small group of us, and the duck andouillette was out. The pasta lacked seasoning, and the tiramisu was unfortunately a bit too sweet. In terms of ambiance, some background music would make the place a little less cold.

30/12/2025: Le Clos de l'Ecureuil: a setting, a warm welcome, a delight for the senses. Each dish enchants the palate, and the nose and eyes are filled with pleasure... a moment of pure bliss. Le Clos has been a part of our family life. While we understand that retirement will come one day, we'll have to do without it now, and we'll miss stepping through the door of this gourmet haven very much. Thank you both so much for all these shared moments.

But how does she manage to produce such a menu at this price? It almost seems inappropriate to leave a tip after such a gift. Love can't be bought.

11/11/2025: The best value for money I've found in Nîmes in the last 10 years for a lunchtime restaurant. A simple, family-style menu, a price under €15, and delicious home-style cooking...what a treat! I highly recommend it.

My only slight complaint is that the fries weren't homemade; with such high-quality meat 🥰, I think that's a shame. The Caesar salad dressing is amazing. 02/10/2024: The young man at the reception of our hotel recommended the restaurants of the pretty Place des Esclafidous with its small central fountain. The Magnolias restaurant was the first that we tried the evening of our arrival in Nîmes. The young waitress who welcomed us was efficient and very pleasant. We chose the starter + main course + dessert menu at €39. The dishes served were quite good and well presented but we were surprised to have to pay €1 extra per carafe of filtered water. During our stay in Nîmes, it was the only establishment that we saw practicing this not very commercial measure.

23/09/2024: Very nice, small and personal restaurant with delicious food. When the weather is nice, there is an outdoor area protected from the wind and sun. The service was very attentive, super friendly and advised us on our selection. Menu available in French, English and Spanish.
