14/04/2026: Good quality. However, it's a case of forced sales. €5 for a diabolo (a type of soft drink). €30 for a "kids'" plate!! Of course, no one forced us to come. But I used to be a restaurant owner, and this is how you damage the industry. We want mussels, not just mussels cooked on the griddle for €30.90. Same for cuttlefish, only on the griddle...so very, very expensive. Kids' menu €35 with a diabolo.

19/05/2026: We chose to have lunch at Comptoir de l’Evesque on Saturday because we appreciate chefs with the "Maître Restaurateur" designation... and we weren't disappointed. The setting is lovely and the dining room is very bright. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the service was attentive, provided by the same person. We opted for the €45 set menu and were surprised by such good value for money. The quality was excellent, and the portions were generous! Congratulations to the chef and thank you for the fabulous cheese trolley (it's so rare). A truly excellent restaurant that we highly recommend.

24/04/2026: We came as a couple to eat at this place, having reserved a table. We weren't sure if the restaurant was open because there were no tables set outside and no sign inviting us in. As a result, no one greeted us, and we waited 15 minutes in front of the entrance without knowing we had to go in. Once inside, someone came to greet us and seat us, but I found the welcome rather lukewarm. We ordered, and the waitress seemed completely out of it, but the order went smoothly. The food was very good, but the prices were a bit too high for what was offered. The desserts were also a bit pricey. Overall, a good experience despite these minor issues. I recommend coming to discover original cuisine and a calm atmosphere, but be prepared to spend a fair amount of money considering the prices.

11/07/2026: Everything was excellent. I'm celiac and they were very accommodating; everyone was very friendly and the food was superb. The beef tartare was legendary.

29/06/2026: Let's be honest, we were in the village hoping to meet some of the ITC cast and crew... Mission accomplished. And naturally, we went to eat at the nearest restaurant. And we have no regrets. First of all, the waitresses were very friendly and professional despite the intense heat. Their salads were generous, made with quality ingredients. The hamburgers were equally well-prepared. It's a really great place in a great location.

08/06/2026: We've eaten here several times during a cycling tour. As always, we were very satisfied. The Gardiane de Taureau is fantastic. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

15/04/2026: Amazing boba with unique and delicious smaller tapioca pearls and fresh herbaceous tea! I recommend going low on sugar to enjoy the tea flavour and the sweetness of the boba! The smaller pearls don't get stuck in the straw coming up and choke you, it's weird that this isn't more common!

Located in a beautiful setting in Port-Camargue, the place offers a superb view and a warm atmosphere that makes you want to linger. 07/06/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Spinaker Hotel and wanted to extend our warmest thanks to the entire team. The hotel is simply magical, elegant, and peaceful, with a truly unique atmosphere. The service was impeccable from beginning to end: professional, attentive, discreet, and always very pleasant. A huge thank you also to the restaurant team, who were absolutely outstanding, both in terms of the quality of service and the attention to detail. The management also deserves recognition for their warm welcome, professionalism, and the genuine feeling of being treated with care. We had a truly wonderful time and leave with the clear desire to return. We highly recommend this hotel and thank the entire team again for this perfect stay. We hope to see you again very soon!

30/06/2026: One of many very good restaurants in Aigues mortes. Located within the walls of the town on the main square. The food was delicious and the service very good. Walked up and got seated immediately, I had the Gardian Stew, a traditional Carmargue meal made with beef. A great place to sit down, relax, have good food and watch the world go by

29/06/2026: Lunch with the kids, the kids' menu was excellent, and for adults, I recommend the Roquefort mussels, which are fantastic. The price is right, the location is excellent, and they're very friendly.

02/12/2025: What can I say? The food was reasonably good, the service pleasant, the waiter was friendly despite his lack of formal training, and the dining room was empty while the other restaurants on the square were full. The value for money was definitely lacking. Two things really disappointed us. First, I asked the waiter what vegetables were in my dish, and he couldn't tell me. When we came back, we learned that the chef had gone home, and the waiter explained that the kitchen assistant was running the show. Second, we were refused an upgrade to a higher-priced menu because, and I quote, the waiter said, "I ask at the beginning because I don't know how to upgrade the menu when the bill arrives." So we ended up paying full price for a starter/main course plus dessert, even though a three-course menu (starter/main/dessert) was available. This is the first time this has ever happened to us.
