18/09/2024: We sat down and waited about ten minutes for the server. Not seeing him arrive, I went to the counter to ask him if I could leave my order with him or if he would come to the table to pick it up and all that kindly and politely. His feedback was very prompt, “I have other customers to serve!” All this without having raised your head and in a relatively dry tone. Seeing his reaction, we left and were greeted further down very kindly.

10/09/2024: Very busy restaurant with very friendly staff. Tarte flambée was good, as usual in the area there are hardly any vegetarian dishes on the menu. Bacon or similar can easily be left out upon request. Dogs are welcome and are given some water without asking. Recommendation!

22/06/2024: Nous aimons venir régulièrement en Alsace, réputée pour la bonne nourriture, le vin et l'accueil. Le Manala en fait parti ! Pour une première nous n'avons pas été déçus. C'est un winstub traditionnel, où j'ai mangé la meilleure bouchée à la Reine ! Un de mes plats préférés. Le personnel est charmant et accueillant. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.

17/06/2024: Restaurangen ligger lite på en sidogata men ger valuta för pengarna. Det är ingen lyxrestaurang men man får vällagad mat. Ofta fullsatt så boka bord. Trevlig atmosfär och rask service. Vi har ätit där flera gånger och alltid varit nöjda. Bra förhållande pris mot kvalité.

01/09/2024: Vandaag gegeten in dit kelderrestaurant in Riquewihr. De sfeer is een beetje apart maar wel leuk. Bediening is aardig en attent. De sfeer is zeer ongedwongen. Één van de personeelsleden loopt in korte broek. Hier kan dit! De kaart bevat voornamelijk gerechten met een lokaal en traditioneel karakter. Zelf kozen we voor een 3 gangen menu van € 24,- pp. de eerste gang bestond uit een traditionele quiche en een uientaart. Beide gerechten waren prima. Als hoofdgerecht kozen we voor de aardappelgratin met Münster en spekjes en Schweizenacken met lauwwarme aardappelsalade. In beide gevallen geen verfijnde gerechten of opmaak, gewoon lekker traditioneel eten. Het dessert was 2 bolletjes ijs. Samenvattend, we hebben hier genoten van traditionele gerechten zonder veel poespas. Prijs/kwaliteits verhouding wat mij betreft in orde.

08/09/2024: What a fabulous meal! We loved every course. Came for a relaxing Sunday lunch and had high hopes for the food but it far exceeded our expectations. Each course was full of favor (including umami), texture and visual appeal. Remarkable food. Clear from the components and flavor how talented the chef is. The chef was very kind, approachable and accommodating. He explained each dish in some detail. The chef’s wife recommended the perfect bottle to accompany the meal. The wine list is carefully curated and we had a wine from the town; perfect with the food. The restaurant is very interesting in terms of decor. Fits the cuisine- very artistic, novel, fascinating. Thrilled to have had the opportunity to dine here.

08/12/2024: En visite en plein marché de Noël, nous nous arrêtons dans ce restaurant perché sur les hauteurs de Riquewihr. De l’entrée au dessert, ce fut excellent… un accueil dès plus agréable, et la compagnie de Gaya à notre table a été le petit plus… merci à vous et joyeuses fêtes

16/06/2024: Super soirée dans cette établissement, la personne qui nous a accueillie et servie était super sympathique pour les conseils et pour nous faire nos Irish cafés. Nous avons pris les tartes flambées, nous avons goûtés toutes celles présentent sur la cartes avec une préférence pour celle à l’escargot et celle au Munster. J’espère y retourner lors de notre prochaine sortie sur la route des vins alsacienne. Très belle adresse

11/06/2024: Juste excellents ! Rien à redire, cuisine simplement excellente, avec des produits de qualité et surtout maison! Un vrai restaurant qui mérite à être connu ! Bravo !

27/07/2024: Auch wenn die Gegend sehr touristisch ist fühlten wir uns gut aufgehoben. Freundlicher zuvorkommender Service. Flammkuchen und Ziegenkäsesalat waren lecker, gerne wieder.

18/07/2024: Très bon accueil le rapport qualité prix est excellent le choix des plats également il y en a pour tous les goûts merci à cet établissement
