The decor is original and you feel right at home. The menu, short and well-crafted, is a promise of freshness that is confirmed on the plate. Special mention for the quality of the cured ham and the perfect cooking of the pork. The tiramisu for dessert was the perfect ending to this wonderful meal. An authentic place for a simple and fabulous experience. Thank you!

Everything is homemade using local produce, and delicious, with a special mention for the fresh cheese fritter – a must-try! A bonus for campervan owners: if there's space, the owner will likely offer you parking for the night!

13/05/2026: On the beach of L'Île-Rousseau, one restaurant follows another – so how do you choose? Where should you go? We walked the entire length of the promenade, and A Siesta stood out. From the outside, it gave a high-quality impression, the tables weren't too close together, and a clear and concise menu drew us in. We were greeted warmly, and the staff immediately offered us a table without asking if we wanted to order food. It's worth noting that there are some establishments that only accept customers ordering food or drinks. We ordered still water and told the server what dishes we would likely order, relying on their wine recommendation. A few moments later, chilled water, two glasses of white wine, and a small bowl of olives with fresh baguette arrived at our table. When ordering our food, the server kindly explained that the fish would be brought to the table and weighed in the kitchen after we had made our selections. The weight would be confirmed beforehand, and we would be asked if it was acceptable. We found this very good, as there was absolutely no misunderstanding. For the side dishes, we had a choice of several options and opted for grilled seasonal vegetables. As a starter, we ordered mussels, which arrived at our table within a few minutes. The staff frequently checked on us and asked if we were satisfied. The grilled fish was brought to the table whole and demonstrated, then disappeared back into the kitchen and was beautifully presented on our plates with the side dishes. Both the mussels and the sea bass were excellent. The wine paired perfectly with the meal. Thank you again for the recommendation and the wonderful service from all the staff! All in all, we would recommend this restaurant to everyone and would gladly return anytime – a clear 5-star rating, as anything more is simply not possible. 👍🏻

20/04/2026: A beautiful inn, charmingly furnished in the typical stone-wall style. A quiet courtyard and back garden pond, complete with sun loungers. A lovely terrace with a bergola, especially enjoyable in the evenings when there's less traffic on the nearby road. A very friendly host, creating a welcoming atmosphere! A simple yet incredibly delicious breakfast with a variety of homemade jams and hearty, house-made ganistrelli!

20/05/2026: The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. The estate is beautiful, with stunning grounds. The tasting room is enormous and very inviting. We couldn't resist buying some wines and Muscat. You can also purchase sweets, jams, and nougat made on-site. They also sell homemade liqueurs. A must-visit!

05/05/2026: We visited in April during school holidays time. We really enjoyed the tasting and purchased jams, wine and nougat. Their fig jam is so good my only regret is not bringing back more home.
