We tried the pasta in the parmesan wheel, the chicken burger and the skewer, and everything was great!
Special mention for the wines which were delicious and very well recommended, which added a nice touch to our meal.
The atmosphere is nice, perfect for spending a good evening in Île Rousse!
Thanks to the staff for the welcome.

29/09/2024: A stopover with friends at the farm inn! Very warm welcome, a magical setting in the mountains. Excellent meal with very good homemade products (plate of homemade charcuterie, leek fritters, a delight)

03/11/2024: Great experience in this Corsican restaurant which was recommended to us by the Residence des Pins. With my husband and our 2 children aged 19 and 17, we had the Corsican menu for €25. A real treat. And the quantities of Corsican-style wild boar we don't even talk about. With 2 big eaters, the dish couldn't even be finished. Each of us had a different starter in order to discover as many Corsican dishes as possible, the children had the chestnut cake for dessert and we had the Corsican cheese. Everything was a treat from start to finish. If you go to Calvi you absolutely must try this restaurant.
26/10/2024: Everything has been said in the previous comments but that does not prevent us from expressing our satisfaction after a very good meal.
I was able to taste a semi-cooked tuna in quantity and quality.
We will come back

En-dehors des huîtres , il faut essayer les moules cuites au feu de bois ( Brasucade)

28/09/2024: Parfait! Une tuerie!!! Un service adorable, des produits dune fraîcheur incomparable, des moules cuites au feu de bois dont jamais je ne pourrais en manger d’aussi bonnes! Les huîtres chaudes et froides sont également à tomber ! Et ne parlons pas des prix qui défient toute concurrence ! Nous reviendrons c’est certain. Mon seul regret, je viens de me rendre compte que je ne leur ai laissé aucun pourboire…j’en suis vraiment désolée. Tellement enchantée par la nourriture et préoccupée par leur faire part de ma joie, j’ai complètement zappé de les récompenser… partie remise ! Un grand merci à toute votre équipe 🙏🏽

27/09/2024: Family restaurant for fifty years, which tries to pass on traditional recipes while winking at tourists, in a small street a stone's throw from Place Paoli. Only Corsican cuisine based on local products, meats, vegetables. The dish par excellence of the menu is in the Corsican flavors dish which contains a tasting of the entire menu in a single course at a good quality/price ratio.
26/09/2024: At the beginning of September we discovered this address. Excellent restaurant with local products, the waiter Lolo is very friendly, I took the chef's suggestion, my husband was a pure delight, a plate of Corsican dishes, cold meats, cheeses... Also very good , I highly recommend it if you want to eat well at Ile Rousse.

13/10/2024: Accueil chaleureux,la patronne nous recoit des qu on arrive.Le restaurant est typique Corse,j adore la deco!Et que dire des plats servis,c est excellent et entièrement fait avec les produits du terroir. Un regal !
27/09/2024: Belle propriété et très bon accueil. Tout été parfait, nous avons pu nous délecter de bons plats avec ces produits venant soit de leur exploitation ou des fermes aux alentours.

06/09/2024: Meat was freshly grilled but unfortunately there was not much beef on the skewer and it wasn't exactly tender either.
Add a few leaves of lettuce and some potatoes.
Together with a 0.25 cola and a double espresso for € 25,-
Staff is nice and the coffee was very good
I travel a lot around the world... I know what an island price is, but I've also eaten cheaper and better on islands... but also worse... So I don't recommend it, but I don't regret it either
06/09/2024: En montant vers Venaco pour rejoindre notre étape, nous avons traversé le petit village de Vivario... où un panneau avec inscrit "cuisine au brasero" m'a interpellé. Le soir, au moment de choisir un endroit où se restaurer, ce panneau m'est revenu en mémoire. Je n'avais pas noté le nom de l'établissement mais Google Street m'a permis de l'identifier. Déjà au téléphone, lorsque j'ai appelé pour réserver — tardivement de surcroit —, l'accueil fut chaleureux. Impression confirmée sur place ! Nous nous sommes régalés d'une nourriture saine à base de produits régionaux et d'une délicieuse grillade... au braséro donc, cuite de main de maître par Jean-Pierre lui-même et en personne !

07/09/2024: L'endroit n'est pas très accueillant, les lumières sont très froides et l'ambiance n'est pas chaleureuse mais le repas y est très bon, ça rattrape mais un peu plus de convivialité serait la bienvenue !
