15/07/2026: I want to thank Etienne again, and especially Alex, the manager, for his kindness and, above all, his human touch, which is increasingly rare these days. Even with the huge crowds for Bastille Day and the World Cup semi-final, he took the time for us (thank you for the takeaway fries!). Julie and the two boys in their France jerseys 👍

15/07/2026: Excellent place: the setting is superb, the welcome is very warm with very pleasant and friendly staff, and the food was delicious. A nice bonus was their flexibility in adapting vegetarian options to make them vegan. Thank you!

27/05/2026: While camping at his son's place, Jean-Pierre took us to the family restaurant in the village. The charcuterie was excellent, and the bruccio and mint omelet was a wonderful discovery. To finish, we enjoyed a chestnut cake and a small glass of homemade myrtle liqueur. The owner gave us a very warm welcome. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to stop by.

04/05/2026: We stopped by chance on our way back to Ajaccio around 7:30 pm. We received a wonderful welcome with roses 🌹 Jean-Pierre is warm and friendly. We felt right at home; everything was perfect. Beautiful and delicious food. We highly recommend Jean-Pierre!

05/07/2026: I dined at U Lampione restaurant in Corsica, and the experience was overall very positive. The dish that impressed me most was undoubtedly the octopus: truly exceptional, incredibly tender, and perfectly cooked, one of those dishes that alone is worth the visit. The service was very pleasant, thanks to the waitress, who was extremely kind, smiling, and attentive throughout the dinner. Regarding the prices: they're generally a bit higher than average, but the quality of the food is high. In short, a place I'd recommend, especially for the octopus and the friendly service.

26/06/2026: A beautiful spot for a sunset, the food is excellent, however, as Germans we felt like second-class guests. What was taken for granted at other tables had to be requested by us every time. A real shame – as it somewhat marred the otherwise wonderful overall impression.
