10/12/2025: A restaurant that's not touristy at all, where you'll find locals. The food is homemade, with deliciously cooked regional dishes. The chocolate mousse and l'atriaux are a delight for the palate (and I don't usually like rare meat!). Plus, Frantz is super attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!! 😋

15/02/2026: We've been to this restaurant three times and have been delighted each time. The welcome is warm and the staff very pleasant. The dishes are very good, the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, which is a real plus. The price of the raclette, however, is still quite high…

31/01/2026: We had a great time. The service was excellent; the waiter had a good laugh with us and was very pleasant and helpful. (Thank you, Julien!) The food was very good, and the portions were quite generous. The atmosphere was nice, and the music wasn't too loud.

13/02/2026: Top-notch! 👌🏻 The Swiss fondue is as delicious as ever. The atmosphere is very friendly. You don't need to be a tourist to appreciate this great place.

07/12/2025: We came to eat as a family, and it was a very unpleasant experience. The owner, I presume, was intrusive from beginning to end. We had barely sat down when he started massaging my brother's and father's shoulders. He inserted himself into all our conversations, sat at our table to chat with us, addressed us informally, and made homophobic remarks toward my uncles. He spoke to his colleagues without any restraint, shouting across the room; even the youngest employee seemed embarrassed for us. He was making a spectacle of himself; it was impossible to eat in peace. We were very uncomfortable and hurt by his remarks. He tried to apologize, but we sensed no sincerity. Judging by other negative reviews, we're not the only ones complaining about this kind of behavior.

07/12/2025: The food was simple and good, but I was very surprised to see this restaurant has a 5-star rating… I felt uncomfortable from beginning to end. Between the "shoulder massages" and the homophobic, sexist, and racist remarks from the owner, whom I thank for leaving us with such a wonderful impression of this place we will not be returning to. You can laugh about anything, but not with just anyone. A word to the wise.

07/02/2026: L'Alpin is a lovely place, even though Annecy's historic center is full of restaurants; this one is highly recommended. It has a chalet-like atmosphere, all wood, even a touch of a Nordic cabin 😉 All the Savoyard specialties are on the menu and prepared to order. Our table of four enjoyed four different set menus...

26/01/2026: A very pleasant surprise during our visit to Annecy! We stopped by and weren't disappointed. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere was great. We shared a starter of rillettes, a delicious discovery! The tartiflette and crème brûlée were also excellent. I highly recommend it; don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.
