05/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic meal at Les Chineurs de la Cuisine. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and homemade, with good-sized portions and lots of taste. The value for money is excellent. You can really taste the pleasure they take in cooking well and offering quality products. I highly recommend this place, and we'll definitely be back! 😋

05/09/2026: We had a pleasant time at this restaurant: the food was very good and the service was attentive. However, I would like to draw attention to something that really struck me about the restrooms. When I entered the restrooms, I saw a spacious stall with a toilet, as well as an area with two urinals. I didn't see any hygiene products or facilities specifically for women. I was particularly struck by seeing a woman with a very young baby trying to change her child's diaper near the sink, due to the lack of a suitable changing area. This situation seemed particularly indicative of the lack of consideration for the needs of women and parents. I understand that there might be other restrooms in a large restaurant, and therefore I cannot comment on all the facilities. But in the restrooms I saw, the layout clearly seemed much more geared towards men's needs than women's. This might not be an immediately noticeable issue if you're not directly affected, but it's precisely these small details that make a place truly comfortable and inclusive for everyone. Therefore, I'm sharing this comment not to criticize the restaurant—the food and service were very satisfactory—but in the hope that this point can be taken into consideration and possibly improved.

22/07/2026: We very much enjoyed lunch at L'Equisse. We had, respectively, the three and four course set menus for midweek lunch, which are good value. Rather oddly, you're not told what the courses actually are until they arrive, though you can choose meat or fish, and they screen rigourously for allergies. The food was tasty, fresh, and made inventive use of seasonal ingredients. There's a good, very affordable list of aperitifs and wines. Service is friendly and prompt and staff speak English. We found the three course menu was pretty filling when you factor in the pre and post meal amuses bouches; I'm not sure we could have handled the six course menu, let alone the nine (from fellow diners it didn't seem like the course sizes were reduced in any way). The only slight let down was the very hushed atmosphere, a bit like eating in a library. Good for a very quiet intimate conversation, but not very lively or convivial. Still, the food and service would certainly draw us back.

20/08/2026: We came for a romantic raclette with our dog and received a wonderful welcome… pets are welcome, which was a huge plus for us… we ate upstairs and it was great, thank you so much! We highly recommend this restaurant. See you soon!

02/09/2026: Mets Papilles thanks you. I ordered a pure juice and it was a real treat. A minimalist setting, dishes made with fresh ingredients, a simple yet comprehensive menu. Very reasonable prices. And above all, the owner is incredibly kind; you can tell he loves his work.

24/08/2026: A delightful little restaurant located on a street in the historic center. The tables aren't very large, but they create a cozy, authentic atmosphere. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The dishes are carefully prepared and delicious, using local ingredients.

13/07/2026: A wonderful restaurant in Annecy that we return to whenever we can! The vegetables were excellent, and my husband’s tartare was absolutely delicious. They even offer fresh citrus slices for the water, which is such a lovely touch. The children’s menus are delicious too, with very good-quality meat and fresh fries. I had the vitello tonnato, and it was magnificent, with a wonderfully rich and flavorful sauce. The service was attentive and professional, and the staff looked very elegant in their perfectly clean white uniforms. The whole restaurant is spotless, refined, and welcoming. The desserts were just as delicious. We ordered ice cream for the children, and I had a beautiful flan with raspberries. Definitely worth trying! For me, this is one of the most complete restaurants in Annecy: elegant, excellent food, attentive service, and very reasonable prices. Everything was delicious!

20/06/2026: I did not stay at the hotel. I had dinner at the restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The asparagus entree was delicious and refreshing. Duck fillet served with black garlic crust was memorable. I had not had duck served that way before. Too, the crème brûlée was inventive, lighter than most, and a wonderful way to end the meal. The restaurant is lovely and located along the main canal, so very picturesque. My server was helpful and quietly attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!
