13/12/2025: Food: 5 stars Value for money: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Decor: 1 star, very harsh, white lighting, very little taste in the decor. It's a shame; dimming the lights would have made a big difference!

13/12/2025: We had a very pleasant evening, with a very nice culinary experience from the beginning to the end of the meal, and service that lived up to expectations.

10/12/2025: A restaurant that's not touristy at all, where you'll find locals. The food is homemade, with deliciously cooked regional dishes. The chocolate mousse and l'atriaux are a delight for the palate (and I don't usually like rare meat!). Plus, Frantz is super attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!! 😋

08/09/2024: So the server Alex, AWESOME! But the food……. We ordered a Savoyard fondue, the cook changed the cheese 3 times but nothing helped, the fondue was thick. A little disappointed.. But thank you anyway for the gesture

30/08/2024: For 3 years, during our stays in Annecy we have stopped at Pura Vida for lunch. We have never been disappointed. Fresh, good quality products, warm and smiling welcome. The cookie is killer! See you next year.

20/09/2024: Had a delightful lunch here. Mussels were in season and they were cooked perfectly with shallots and white wine and were tender and sweet. My husband is vegetarian and the chef made him a tofu and curry dish that was delicious. We also had the dessert sampler that was fun and delectable. The staff were efficient and the small indoor portion of the restaurant was lovely. Definitely recommend.

26/08/2024: We ate here randomly when passing through in the winter of 2018 and loved it. So this past week when we returned to see Annecy in the summer, we searched until we found it. We again loved the atmosphere, service, and food. I had a great fennel and quinoa salad and my wife got a unique double chicken burger. We both savored every bite. I don’t know if we’ll make it to Annecy a third time. But if we do, we’ll eat here again.

25/09/2024: Delicious and cozy restaurant. After seven o'clock on Tuesday evening it was completely full. Tasty menu with various typical French (regional dishes). Friendly and attentive service.

25/09/2024: We ate this evening we had a beef pirate and a mix the meat was not very tender frozen fries the sautés are not homemade really not great

26/09/2024: A warm restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and refined cuisine. We tasted local fish, perfectly accompanied by a garnish with varied textures. The dishes are fresh, seasonal, and the wine is excellent. The staff is very welcoming. Thank you for this great experience!

09/12/2025: Don’t come if you want to be discriminated and be treated very rudely by your waiter. We’re Asian and were served upstairs by an Asian looking waiter - other staff treated us nicely. The waiter who served us was so obviously discriminatory towards us, he didn’t smile once, he was so impatient and had such a rude/harsh tone, took away dishes without saying or asking anything (we were still dipping bread into the plate of escargots when he took it away), put our food down and walked away (didn’t say what it was or anything at all). When someone asked if the steak could be cooked medium rare, he immediately said “we are in france, it’s medium or rare, no medium rare” and continued on explaining in such a rude tone. A simple “no sorry” could’ve sufficed. We could see and hear he was laughing and smiling with other tables, described the dishes & said have a nice meal to other parties, etc. The food was decent, but we are travelling around france for the past 2 weeks & not once have we received such rude and racist behaviour. 30/10/2024: A big thank you to all the Esquisse staff for this incredible moment. The welcome and service are impeccable. We took a 5 course menu. Everything was excellent, refined, delicious. We really enjoyed tasting the chef's surprise, it was amazing! The sketch is a very nice address, you will not be disappointed.
