11/06/2026: We were desperately searching for a restaurant open out of season when we stumbled upon Natural Takka! We were so surprised to discover this welcoming and warm place with its delicious food. We had an incredible evening, from the aperitif with the discovery of Pastis-Genepi to the main courses, not a crumb of which we left (the trout tiflette was amazing!), to the homemade dessert that tantalized our taste buds (perfect homemade whipped cream!). Thank you again for the warm welcome! 🥰☀️

Service was adequate, prices were normal for the area. Nothing particularly good or bad to say. Fine for a quick stop.
08/06/2026: A lively and busy place with a mountain tourism vibe.
Looking for a quick bite before continuing our journey, we ordered the house special: Pyrenean trout fillet with salad and potatoes. It was a good meal and didn't keep us waiting too long.

08/07/2026: Excellent caterer! The portions are generous and the food is absolutely delicious. I often order the shrimp in spicy sauce with noodles or the caramel chicken, and I'm never disappointed.
The woman who runs the caterer is lovely, welcoming, and very kind. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality is always top-notch. A fantastic place that I highly recommend!

18/04/2026: First time at this restaurant and the staff gave me a very warm welcome. There's a real family atmosphere, which I absolutely love. Plus, the setting with the waterfall is picture-perfect and truly magnificent.
The service was top-notch; we were served quickly, and the food was excellent. The quality of the dishes and ingredients was truly outstanding.
I highly recommend it. 😉

02/03/2026: So, how can I put it?! This restaurant has absolutely no authenticity. The garbure (cabbage soup) was disgusting, tasted like vinegar, it was awful. I even had a stomach ache that same evening. And the "Puit d'Amour" (Well of Love) dessert? Honestly, it was just ice cream with cream on top for 11 euros. Seriously, avoid this restaurant; it has nothing authentic about it, not even the owner, the cook, or the waitress. Look elsewhere; there are real mountain restaurants in Cauterets.

01/07/2026: A fantastic experience at La Cabane! A huge thank you to Milan, Paul, and Lucas, who were absolutely wonderful: a warm welcome, quick service, always smiling, and a great atmosphere. They greatly contributed to making our evening excellent.
The only slight drawback was the welcome from management, which we found a little less warm than that of the rest of the team. Despite this, we will gladly return, especially thanks to the professionalism and good humor of Milan, Paul, and Lucas.

All in all, a good place for a very pleasant meal, and a real treat.
