06/09/2026: Pleasant lunch on the terrace. However, the steak haché à cheval (hamburger with a roasted egg) was inedible, as were the fries and the salad – extremely salty! I ate the bread.

04/09/2026: Frozen food: low-quality main course and dessert. We left full plates unnoticed.

15/10/2026: Open quite late... which is great! Young and relaxed atmosphere. Very good food and excellent cocktails.

12/10/2026: Stayed in Cauterets, stopped by for a drink on Saturday evening by chance, no complaints, friendly atmosphere. We returned on Sunday for lunch, impeccable service, relaxed yet attentive, excellent burger, perfectly cooked, served with homemade fries. A minor point about the "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts): I think it was missing a small dessert, leaving us wanting more. My partner had the blueberry tart, which was delicious and generous.

29/08/2026: We had a wonderful time, it was super warm and friendly, the atmosphere is like being at home, I highly recommend it and I will definitely go back!

25/08/2026: A very nice bar and restaurant. The couple who run it are really very friendly. I recommend it for a great evening out.

18/09/2026: A wonderful discovery, bursting with flavor and generosity! While passing through Cauterets, our small group discovered L’Authentico… and what a delightful surprise! We received a wonderful welcome from Papy Marco, a passionate chef who took us on a culinary journey through his Ecuadorian cuisine. Generous, flavorful dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced spices, and absolutely sublime flavors… A true delight for the taste buds! ❤️ Special mention also goes to Philippe, who perfectly assists Papy Marco. Impeccable service, great kindness, good humor, and above all, a sense of humor that contributes to creating such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We also had a vegetarian in our group, and Papy Marco took the time to prepare a beautiful vegetarian dish for them, with the same care and generosity. A truly thoughtful touch! And because we enjoyed our first evening so much, we returned the very next night! That's how much we loved this place. 😋 A huge thank you to Papy Marco for his cooking, his generosity, and especially for the heart he puts into every dish. And thank you to Philippe for his warm welcome, his service, and his kind words! We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover authentic, generous cuisine bursting with wonderful flavors in a warm and friendly atmosphere. 30/08/2026: Impeccable service, inexpensive and delicious Nutella crepe, no fuss!

16/09/2026: The food quality was really very poor, and the prices were high. It's a shame, especially since it's one of the only bakeries open out of season. I tried it three times and was disappointed each time. From now on, I'll have lunch in advance in another town before going up to Cauterets.

16/09/2026: Great atmosphere, smiling staff, both children and adults were delighted, especially the crumble which was delicious, we will be back.
