01/08/2024: Nous y sommes allé aujourd'hui. L'endroit est mignon, le personnel très gentil et souriant. Les pâtisseries sont vraiment magnifiques et donnent très envie! Mais le goût n'est pas tout à fait au rendez-vous.. J'ai pris un dessert à la pêche de vigne, j'ai adoré la texture mousse, il y avait aussi de la pêche fraîche à l'intérieur, mais malheureusement je n'ai pas beaucoup retrouver le goût de la pêche, c'était plutôt fade. Le jus d'orange pressé était une vraie réussite ! Étant en vacance dans le coin je n'aurai plus l'occasion d'y retourner mais j'aurai tout de même voulu retenter et goûter d'autres choses car ça donnait très envie!

28/10/2025: I went there with a friend who's a regular. We were welcomed like family. The idea is original, and I thoroughly enjoyed choosing my kebabs. Kudos for this concept, which has been around for a long time and which I'd never actually been to before. Luckily, my friend encouraged me to finally try it.

18/03/2026: The texture of the galette and crepe batters is medium.

14/03/2026: Excellent buckwheat crepes. The servers were fantastic and very responsive. Be warned if you order the flambéed crepes: the alcohol is quite generous. The only downside is that the tables are a bit close together. I recommend this place.

11/07/2025: Dishes worthy of a canteen.... served cold.... taste of pre-prepared frozen industrial dishes... |deplorable service with a waiter who clearly doesn't want to work and who doesn't wash his hands after his cigarette break and after scratching his back... icy atmosphere.... and at the end, we aren't even asked if it went well... I strongly advise against it

07/06/2025: Great brasserie with a very pleasant terrace, surrounded by plants and an artificial fountain. The server is efficient. Note that today's dishes were vegetarian. I don't know if that's the norm.

24/03/2026: Never disappointed! This restaurant is in my top 3 at Odysseum thanks to its consistently high-quality food, fast and friendly service, overall atmosphere, and value for money. Everything is there for a great time, whether you're alone, as a couple, with friends, or even with family. Thank you, team!

21/03/2026: I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this time it's more than just a review; it's a duty. We went there twice in 10 days because one bad experience doesn't warrant a judgment. The first time, at the beginning of the month, after a 15-minute wait on the terrace, a waiter finally decided to take our order after throwing his cigarette away right in front of the establishment. The food was cold, but above all, of poor quality. After another wait for the bill, I decided to get up and pay at the counter. A man who had been sitting at his computer came to take my payment without even a greeting. A surreal experience. We went back anyway because we've been going to this establishment for several years and had always been satisfied with the service and the food. Well, this time we didn't even eat because this same man left us waiting (even though the terrace was practically empty) with his phone to his ear. Two other customers left, complaining about the quality of their food and the wait. We decided to do the same. I don't know what happened at this place where we loved to go as a family, but we won't be going back.

14/03/2026: In the medieval streets of Montpellier's historic center, this restaurant, with its Gothic vaulted dining room and small outdoor area, is very welcoming. The menu was a bit complicated to understand with its star system. The manager came to explain it to us, but since we weren't familiar with this star system based on the number of courses chosen, we didn't quite grasp it. And that's where all the magic and joy of dining in this otherwise excellent restaurant disappeared… Mademoiselle (let's call her that) made it very clear that we hadn't been listening properly and that if we "listened carefully," she said politely, but with a tone that, once again, implied we would understand better if we did… anyway! Not being as foolish as we seemed… we chose our menu, knowing that this wasn't our first Michelin-starred restaurant and we're more used to having helpful waiters ready to explain things several times if necessary! For what it's worth, my stepdaughter had already visited this restaurant in 2025 and had also encountered this rather unfriendly head waitress. The experience remains unique in terms of gastronomy: delicious, meticulously prepared, and worthy of a Michelin star! To add insult to injury: before we were hooked, the waitress rubbed salt in the wound with, "Despite your confusion when reading the menu, did you have a pleasant experience?" This was the last straw. A restaurant of this caliber shouldn't end on such a sour note with its customers and leave them with a less than enjoyable experience. As a result, we all left the restaurant not talking about the delicious dishes we had tasted, but rather about the overall customer experience. Nevertheless, I must emphasize that the rest of the staff were very professional and pleasant.

21/02/2026: The service was completely inadequate. A frosty reception followed my explanation that my daughter and I weren't big fish eaters. Unfortunately, the only main course was fish. The waitress lectured me about making the reservation without specifying anything and that there was no guarantee the chef could do anything about it. She wondered how I could have booked without reading the menu on the website! This certainly set the tone! The chef, of course, adapted, for which I thank him, but we could have started there! There were four of us, only one printed menu, and when I asked for another, I was told they were careful not to print too many. Finally, I was told we didn't need to read it because "it's the chef's poetry"... Unbelievable, just two minutes earlier I'd been criticized for not reading the menu on the website! They ended up offering us an aperitif, but we had to hurry up and order, otherwise... otherwise what? The welcome was like a masterclass. Finally, the dishes were nicely presented, some were quite successful, but at this price, one expects a completely different level of service...

28/03/2026: ‼️‼️‼️ AVOID AT ALL COSTS ‼️‼️ Absolutely shameful. This morning, I had a date with my mother at Yams, a place she goes to regularly in the mornings, and sometimes even just for lunch. She was refused service by a waiter (light brown, almost blond, with blue eyes), simply because she pointed out that she had been waiting for 10 minutes, while he was chatting calmly with other customers on the terrace… And the worst part? When she went to complain at the counter, she mentioned it to the other waiter, who completely IGNORED her! And this same blue-eyed waiter told my mother that she had been there twice this week, which is true, and implied that she was lying, with an insolent tone and a haughty air, as if to say, "I've never seen you before." Here's a little proof, just to refute your audacity in calling my mother a liar with such insolence. The level of respect and professionalism is nonexistent. It gives a disastrous impression of the establishment. In short, we won't be going back, and I absolutely do not recommend it, unless you want to be treated rudely and condescendingly. GO TO CAFÉ RICHE, the servers will be more pleasant and smiling. 🙂

04/03/2026: A wonderful rediscovery of Le Tire Bouchon in Montpellier. Since the change of ownership, the place is completely transformed. We ordered a burger and the daily special: both were excellent. The service was quick and very friendly. All this in an ideal setting, on an iconic Montpellier square, particularly pleasant in the sunshine. A highly recommended spot.

21/03/2026: This is nothing like the old Boris. From now on, stay away! The steak tartare is some kind of dubious, whitish mix, both in appearance and taste. And don't even get me started on the toilets; at the beginning of service, they were like something you'd find at a motorway service station!

16/03/2026: I had booked for 5 people on Thursday, March 12th; this dinner was important. The welcome was lacking; they couldn't find the reservation at first. The service was deplorable. The second waiter didn't bother to check if everyone had finished their appetizers before bringing the main courses and was unpleasant when we pointed it out. He left, put all the dishes aside, and the first waiter took over. The flank steak was tough and cold, and the fries were cold. As someone who frequents brasseries, I must admit I was very disappointed with the quality and the price. It was excessive. I do not recommend this brasserie; it is not worthy of the name. We are all unanimous.

16/12/2025: I had the opportunity to enjoy a meal tray at an event in Montpellier and it was very good. The delivery window was respected! Thank you very much.

15/12/2025: I don't know what the food is like, but the driving needs improvement! And yes, when you drive an advertising vehicle, you're also carrying your image on the road!

29/03/2026: The waiter was very friendly. However, the frappé wasn't really a frappé, and the iced tea was a bit bland for my taste, but still quite decent! The prices are a little high, but we're on Place de la Comédie, so the setting is lovely!

17/03/2026: Very well located next to the Opéra Comédie. Fast service, very good and generous traditional French cuisine. An affordable lunch menu of €23 per person (beer, menu + coffee).
