And what a wonderful surprise to discover the new chef! Leila has real talent; she brings her personal touch to the varied dishes, all prepared on-site. The result: even more flavorful, generous, and heartfelt cuisine. A place you'll gladly return to, again and again!

14/03/2026: In the medieval streets of Montpellier's historic center, this restaurant, with its Gothic vaulted dining room and small outdoor area, is very welcoming. The menu was a bit complicated to understand with its star system. The manager came to explain it to us, but since we weren't familiar with this star system based on the number of courses chosen, we didn't quite grasp it. And that's where all the magic and joy of dining in this otherwise excellent restaurant disappeared… Mademoiselle (let's call her that) made it very clear that we hadn't been listening properly and that if we "listened carefully," she said politely, but with a tone that, once again, implied we would understand better if we did… anyway! Not being as foolish as we seemed… we chose our menu, knowing that this wasn't our first Michelin-starred restaurant and we're more used to having helpful waiters ready to explain things several times if necessary! For what it's worth, my stepdaughter had already visited this restaurant in 2025 and had also encountered this rather unfriendly head waitress. The experience remains unique in terms of gastronomy: delicious, meticulously prepared, and worthy of a Michelin star! To add insult to injury: before we were hooked, the waitress rubbed salt in the wound with, "Despite your confusion when reading the menu, did you have a pleasant experience?" This was the last straw. A restaurant of this caliber shouldn't end on such a sour note with its customers and leave them with a less than enjoyable experience. As a result, we all left the restaurant not talking about the delicious dishes we had tasted, but rather about the overall customer experience. Nevertheless, I must emphasize that the rest of the staff were very professional and pleasant.

19/04/2026: My family and I ate there, and the experience was disappointing. The place is small and cramped; we were practically sitting next to our neighbors at the next table, and it was very noisy. The staff weren't particularly friendly, except for one young man whom I thank. The galettes were bland and tasteless. Being from Brittany, I've never eaten galettes like that. I had to add salt and pepper, which is unthinkable. The only positive point: the desserts. I think you should go there just to try them, but that's about it. Disappointed with this experience.

18/04/2026: Kreisker crêperie is one of, if not the best, crêperies in Montpellier. The crêpes are delicious and generous, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a good crêperie in Montpellier!

12/05/2026: Passing through Montpellier for the day, we discovered an excellent restaurant. Thank you for this delightful experience. The salad from the gardens of Le Bouchon was a truly memorable culinary moment.

24/03/2026: A major drawback of this hotel: the room doors either don't lock or are very difficult to lock even after being manipulated by staff at our request. This is unsettling; fortunately, we weren't robbed. The hairdryer was broken, and they offered to lend us one as compensation. However, the room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very kind and attentive. Good location.

26/04/2026: Honestly, we were served in 10 minutes on a Saturday night, amazing! It was delicious. The waiter was super friendly, in short... after a movie, it was perfect.

22/04/2026: Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated comfortably. The servers were very polite and helpful. We ordered two excellent mocktails 👍 The restaurant has a lovely decor, but we were bothered by fruit flies. My partner ordered a ribeye steak, which was very good, no complaints there. I had a duck skewer with two large bell peppers and large pieces of onion. The meat was good, but I kept finding sinew on every piece. Furthermore, I didn't find the vegetables very interesting; the bell peppers still had the seeds, they were slightly charred, and the onions were bland. They weren't seasoned, although the Béarnaise sauce was excellent. To conclude, it was still a good experience, and I highly recommend the ribeye steak.

15/04/2026: Everything is mass-produced; the cook simply opened cans without even bothering with the presentation. At first, I criticized the bread, calling it "Lidl bread," but by the end of the meal, it turned out to be the best ingredient.

16/04/2026: The owners have changed, and it shows: - The dishes are delicious, both savory and sweet, - The portions are generous and satisfying, - The prices remain very affordable, - Almost everything is homemade, - The staff is very friendly. I had an Italian waffle with burrata, pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, and prosciutto, which was excellent. I hope they see their rating increase because they deserve it.

02/05/2026: Nestled among trees and shrubs in a wonderfully peaceful location, with a view of St. Pierre. The cuisine is first-class! Very friendly staff.

02/05/2026: This is our second visit; the first time was three or four years ago. The place is simply magnificent. We didn't have any particular memories of the food, and for good reason: it's just average. We had the lobster ravioli, which was good. However, we forgot the name of the other starter—something like squash or carrot—it was a 2/5. Then we had the Black Angus beef, which was very good, but the Wagyu beef (€59), the most expensive dish on the menu, arrived cold. After reheating it (not ideal…), the Black Angus remained a more interesting dish in terms of taste and texture. The desserts were average overall. I had asked if they had anything chocolate, and they said the chef would prepare a chocolate dessert for me. The dessert arrived with a scoop of chocolate-colored ice cream on the side and a very pretty cake. I took a spoonful of ice cream, and it was coffee. I hate coffee. And no one told me when serving dessert that it was coffee. In short, the place remains magical, but the food isn't particularly memorable.

16/04/2026: Regrettable… Just look at the other reviews: the staff is simply appalling to customers. A bartender interrupted a conversation to tell me, "It's business," after I complained about an unannounced and unlisted extra charge. I don't think she understands the meaning of the word "business," which she seems to think she's using correctly, much to my dismay. Of course, after I pointed it out, they say it's "making a scene," and I'm sure they'll find a response to this review, because they have plenty of responses—even if they're rather pathetic. It's truly regrettable…

25/04/2026: Unpleasant waiter. Avoid working mornings if you don't like people! Dirty table, reported it, and they didn't even bother to wipe it down... Well, they did when we were leaving, taking our money with lame apologies. Ugh. Disappointed.

22/04/2026: My friend and I ordered two Americanos from a man who wasn't smiling, and I felt uncomfortable. We waited 15 minutes for two coffees, which is unacceptable. Have a good day and all the best. I do not recommend this café.
