24/10/2025: I only know this restaurant for lunch. The food is certainly basic but perfectly adequate and does its job: lunch menu, we are not here for a gourmet meal! Pleasant atmosphere, especially university staff and students. Beautiful terrace on the sunny side, so often even in winter. The owner is a little gruff but the owner is adorable and puts on a good face. Fast and professional service. I go there often.

09/10/2025: It was the first restaurant I tried when I arrived in Montpellier three years ago. Despite not speaking French, the owner treated me wonderfully and was very friendly. The food was delicious: the meat, the pâté, and the salad. I think about this meal every day. I hope to eat here again soon. Thank you all ❤️🇲🇽

01/11/2025: Very disappointed. I used to come here regularly, but the quality of the food has really gone downhill. There was practically nothing on my plate. I ordered cuttlefish (supions), and I had to search for the few pieces I could find, along with two small potatoes cut into quarters and a sour tomato sauce. Not great. For dessert, I had a tiramisu. Meh! Runny and tasteless. It's a shame, it used to be very good. I won't be going back.

10/12/2024: Worst scam of my life. I have been to many Marie Blachere boutiques, this is the first time I have seen this, the whole baguettes they sell correspond to 1/3 of a real baguette for 1e 30. Here is my photo, of the baguette biggest ones I bought there, the majority were smaller...

09/12/2024: I got flan and it was just perfect not too sweet which is exactly how I like it! ☺️I will be coming back for more in the near future. There was one guy working there that was serving me and he was nice!

08/07/2025: I've updated my review, which was previously 5 stars, following the bar's takeover by a new owner. The waiter, who presents himself as the manager, allows himself to speak very rudely to customers—even going so far as to insult them—while he is visibly drunk. His partner, also a waitress, spends her time smoking, chatting with friends, or on her phone, without caring about the customers. Tables are not cleared, there is no welcome, and many customers end up leaving after a 15-minute wait without any service. It's sad to have to retract such a positive review, but the change is obvious. It's a shame for the regulars.

27/04/2025: A super simple place with great beers and wines. A great place to escape Montpellier's touristy area.

27/01/2026: Stale and awful bread. Bad orange juice, not freshly squeezed, even though "homemade" is the only orange juice offered on the menu—it's confusing for the customer. Bland, rancid pastries with an industrial texture. For a €7.50 breakfast, it's a shame. I didn't eat my yogurt or the bread, and forced myself to eat the pastry and drink the juice. Thanks to the musician in the square who made this breakfast a little less unpleasant.

13/01/2026: The dish of the day was perfect and delicious. Leek fondue, pork tenderloin with classic sauce...sweet potatoes...delicious! Everything was perfect, the service was excellent, and there was no wait! I highly recommend it!

17/01/2026: I went the day before to request a reservation for 11 people for drinks and possibly a meal. They told me it wasn't necessary... The next day, we went, and they refused us because they weren't sure we'd eat there! Avoid this place! It's not very customer-friendly because, if it had just been drinks, we would have had several more and probably stayed for dinner. So we went to their competitor instead...

31/12/2025: The place is filthy and the atmosphere is like a cemetery. The owner is only friendly enough to boost sales, but if you want a truly pleasant experience with more humane and less depraved service, there are better options on the esplanade... Happy New Year!

08/12/2024: Not knowing Montpellier, I decided to stop to eat at NaturElle. I deeply regret this decision: between the display problem, the unpleasant servers and the meal that was not only cold, but not even cooked, the experience was disappointing. I forced myself to eat because I was really hungry, but considering the price and quantity, I would have been better off going to McDonald's. I strongly advise against this establishment.

06/12/2024: I strongly advise against it. We came to eat this afternoon. When ordering, there are display errors which are not even rectified. The employees speak curtly. We manage to decide, we have country paninis. We ask the waiter to sit at the table, he replies curtly that we should say so before next time. Are we supposed to guess? In short, when we arrived at the table, the paninis were cold, and the cheese had not melted. Advice ; go spend your money at Starbucks, at least they have learned to smile there.
