15/12/2024: Nous avons été très bien reçus et que dire des plats !! Cuisine vraiment très bonne, une entrecôte d'une taille rarement vue, très tendre, andouillette et poisson très bons également. Rien à redire.
14/12/2024: restaurant à ne pas manquer. Rapport qualité prix excellent. Plats copieux et très bien présentés. Ingrédients frais et bien préparés. Service de qualité avec un bon "timing"

08/09/2024: Super nice and pleasant restaurant with an attentive waiter and a great cook. It's very good, refined and the most important thing is quality products.
Not to be missed, you will enjoy it at a very reasonable price.
01/09/2024: Restaurant décoré avec goût et belle terrasse. Le menu du déjeuner à 35 € est excellent. Nous nous sommes régalés.
C'est la 2e fois et la qualité est toujours au rdv sans oublié le bon service.
Je recommande.

14/11/2024: We came to this place twice. Smiling and friendly.
We will come back on our next getaway to Chinon
As planned we came back to have our aperitif. There have been some changes to the cafe but still welcoming. And we were lucky that its card payment center worked again for our payment.
Norman family who returned to your beautiful region.
11/11/2024: Small family dinner. The welcome was pleasant, the service professional and fast.
Hesitating about an aperitif, the waitress did not hesitate to offer me a snack and served me a glass (rare enough to be noted and very appreciated, thank you!).
While waiting for the children's menus, the owner offered my daughters markers to keep them waiting and was friendly and accessible during the meal.
On the plate, the dishes are good, try to favor homemade fries instead of frozen fries and the score will be perfect.
Overall, very good value for money.
I recommend this establishment.

01/12/2024: Un moment suspendu dans cette petite adresse du centre de Chinon. Une cuisine du Terroir à me refaire saliver les babines. Nous nous y étions rendu en famille pour dîner. Au menu, salade de gésiers, coq au vin et la fameuse poire tapée… une tuerie. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

29/08/2024: Fuimos un jueves a las 13.40 de la tarde y no nos quisieron dar de comer, la maitre nos miró de arriba a abajo y nos dijo que no había mesa, habiendo mesas libres y siguieron llegando personas y a ellos les dieron de comer. Racistas! 😡

03/12/2024: Visited during a business trip. Restaurant beyond expectations. Quality service, friendly and warm, cozy and friendly atmosphere. And the CUISINE... Wonderful, simple but elaborate, we are treated to appetizers and digestives! Nice affordable wine list on top of all that.
I VERY highly recommend.
Conclusion: Thank you ladies and well done boss!

04/07/2025: Big disappointment... Food ok, nothing more. Service far from overflowing with friendliness. I really felt like I was annoying the waiter by asking him what was on the menu without alcohol. Prices are rather high for the quality of what we eat, we are clearly paying for the setting which is pleasant. Waiting time suuuper long after ordering! I do not recommend at all... :c

17/09/2024: Plus points, they looked after our bikes very well
Our room was on the fourth floor and there was no lift.
Breakfast was chaotic, no one seemed to be in charge and they kept running out of food. They promised gluten-free food which turned out to be dry crackers.

14/12/2024: This restaurant is to be avoided....more than an hour of waiting to be served an unfortunate burger, which arrives with greasy, barely cooked fries and two salad leaves without a drop of sauce. And same problem at all the other tables, waiting +++
And not even a word to apologize for the wait.
