27/10/2023: For several years I have been going there at least once a season, I preferred the former owners commercially speaking., on the kitchen side, already the service is mega long, the time to settle down and take the order on average 30 minutes... So it's really passable, when we finally deign to take care of ourselves, the service remains long, on average 15 minutes to get drinks, so basically 45 minutes to wait for nothing... The mussels are good (fortunately ), we were never sick, but poorly prepared, since the mussels do not cook in the sauce, a serious mistake in our opinion... Fortunately it remains affordable. But every year it doesn't get better in fact, it's always a "friends first" atmosphere at Penon... And I've been spending my holidays there for over 35 years, I grew up at the penon... And I still can't stand these "anti-tourist house is happy that they fill our pockets" atmosphere

17/08/2024: The food and service on the terras were excellent. The only aspect that did not match with the food and service was the cashier who was not paying attention towards customers coming in for settling the bill.

08/08/2024: Nous avons été reçu de manière très rustre et cela à duré tout au long du service… Le serveur grognon, sans sourire et visiblement pressé… Les tapas sont très bons ainsi que les frites… mais l’entrecôte bien trop cuite! Quasi plus de dessert à nous proposer… sur une table de 14, 5 ont pris des profiteroles et dommage le chocolat était tourné… L’erreur a été reconnue et les cafés nous ont été offert mais cela n’a pas atténue le reste… La carte qui sur internet s’avérait très alléchante mais sur place seulement 5 plats de proposés… Dommage…

18/12/2023: Very bad first and only experience with this hotel-restaurant during a business trip. The food is not good. The rooms are dated, poorly heated and noisy at the intersection with a red light near my window.

27/09/2024: Très décevant. Le plat ( poisson et légumes) était extrêmement salé. Ma fille et moi n'avons pas pu finir notre, assiette, le sel m'a arraché la bouche. Je ne sale jamais à la maison, quel choc. Il y a des salières sur la table, à quoi servent elles? C'était l'anniversaire de ma fille, nous avons regretté de l'avoir fêté là. Il n'y a même pas eu un geste commercial . Nous venions habituellement, je ne sais pas si nous y retournerons

01/09/2024: Toujours bien accueillis, le personnel est agréable, et le cadre en bord de mer est sympathique. Bon rapport qualité/prix, produits frais, plats variés et faits maison (l’écrasé de pomme de terre était délicieux !). Je recommande, bonne adresse sur Moliets avec des prix raisonnables.

16/09/2024: We start the week well at the Louisiana Café, traveling the week with hearty and gourmet meals always with music. And the weekend is always lively with music groups selected for their talents. A caring owner and waitress, always very pleasant and charming. Thank you ❤️

20/07/2024: Pour la deuxième fois nous avons dîné dans ce restaurant. Nous avons pris le menu à 33€. C’était délicieux et copieux. En entrée, salade landaise très bonne avec foie gras, gésiers chauds, jambon, magret de canard et salade avec pignons. Nous avions pris la pièce du boucher en plat, servi avec sauce champignons et pommes de terre grenailles, délicieux avec une parfaite cuisson. Le dessert, fondant au chocolat et déclinaison de poire. Très bon. Le tout servi avec un verre de vin au choix. Le service a été impeccable et l’ambiance feutrée comme nous aimons. Nous le recommandons et y retournerons.
