08/09/2026: During the 2026 Latin Hossegor event, we met an incredible service team. All the staff and management were incredibly attentive, including the outdoor bar team 🥂🥂 And even the security team!! Special mention to Pauline for her creativity and enthusiasm with her shooters, which were full of surprises and delights – we loved them!! Thank you to the entire 2026 team!!

06/09/2026: Very disappointed with the service. 50 minutes to take an order is unprofessional. I should point out that the terrace wasn't full when we arrived. Furthermore, the people who arrived after us were treated with a bit more consideration. There were also numerous mistakes with the order service. Some tables asked five times for a carafe of water without receiving any, and so on. On the other hand, if you have patience (and you need a lot), the food isn't bad (the salads). And there's also quite a lively atmosphere in the square.

04/08/2026: In our large order, I paid €10 for a maxi kebab... I'll let the photo speak for itself regarding the size of said "maxi kebab." Clearly, it's the standard size for every kebab, and the amount of meat inside was absolutely not generous. The same goes for the maxi wrap kebabs. Apart from the extra 50g of meat, the wraps were identical... As for the vegetables, it was the bare minimum, practically no lettuce or tomato. Only the onions seemed a bit more substantial. One somewhat positive point: the fries, although cold and too soggy, were relatively good. The meat itself tasted quite good.

21/06/2026: When I went, the atmosphere was awful. Seeing the cooks handing out pain au chocolat and cigarettes, I knew it was going to end badly. I was forced to walk through the backrooms and the kitchen, which was anything but clean. The cooks didn't even bother to dress properly. We paid €33 for our meal, just to get something the size of a tray of fries. The dish was horrible; it had Chinese sauce in it, which had absolutely nothing to do with it. The "crispy chicken" wasn't even the picture on the menu because it was mercilessly generated by AI. And we didn't get the student discount. Thanks for giving us a sudden bout of diarrhea.

17/10/2025: The tents were basic, and since it was the end of the season, the food was limited. Clothes got damp. Drying facilities were limited to dryers, and there were no rooms. Wi-Fi was only available in the common room.

03/10/2025: We have visited every year in a campervan for more than 10 years and the campsite is consistently welcoming and good value for money. You can pick your own secluded pitch and the toilets, showers and washing up areas are clean but you need to bring your own toilet paper. Plenty of trees, red squirrels and birds. Often a large group of youngsters at the surf camp on site, but they are friendly and no trouble. The walk to the beach has been refurbished this year and it has injected a new lease of life into the area. The beach is gorgeous however, the sea is really not suitable for children with huge crashing waves, strong currents and a steep shelf.

03/08/2026: The place is very basic, the cappuccino is very bitter, and there aren't even napkins on the tables. No croissants or other sweet items available for breakfast.

16/06/2026: Coffee break with the Excelsior in Marseille. Well-preserved Rococo architecture. Very welcoming.

12/08/2026: The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the food is good and fresh.

23/07/2026: A very warm welcome. The salads are excellent and generous, as are the pizzas and the amazing desserts... I highly recommend it 😊

01/08/2026: I was delivered by Berber, not even a hello, did you have the code? The pizzas weren't even cooked, they were like rubber, and the food was disgusting, merguez sausage that I hadn't even paid for. What a disgrace this pizzeria is, not up to standard. Sincerely, and forever

06/09/2026: Passing through, a nice little restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake. Very good food, the mussels are perfectly prepared. Soft background music with a great playlist.

30/07/2026: I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but I can't stay silent. So, if you're looking for a thrilling stay, this place, which calls itself a "hotel" but actually offers ridiculous rooms, is completely unwelcoming, and is full of drunks at the entrance, then this isn't for you. You don't feel safe at all, it stinks, there's an old fan that doesn't work properly... not even a power outlet in the room (of course, this wasn't mentioned), and a bathroom I won't even go into. The photos don't match reality, so beware. We had to leave for urgent family reasons. We were there for a maximum of 40 minutes and didn't touch anything in the room. It was impossible to get a refund despite our obvious distress. Also worth noting is the very nonchalant attitude of the woman who looked after us; she didn't even bother to try to understand or talk to us when we left. And her husband, who leered at us inappropriately and without any scruples upon our arrival, claiming he was the owner (hardly something to brag about, considering what was offered to us). Absolutely no humanity, no understanding, no kindness, not even a conversation to find a suitable solution. Frankly disappointing, I strongly advise against it.

31/05/2026: Just a heads-up not to book through the Google search results, as the restaurant isn't aware of them. Having traveled a long way, we were turned away by the owner this Sunday, who claimed the establishment was at the mercy of Google, that other potential customers were in the same unpleasant situation, and that she had no control over the listing.

05/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at L'Auberge de l'Abbaye this Easter Sunday. The traditional cuisine was delicious and the menu reasonably priced, all in a very pleasant setting. The welcome was warm and friendly. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism. We will gladly return!

17/04/2026: But what are the government services doing? How does this establishment, with all the negative reviews, manage to stay open?
