04/07/2026: Superb service: fantastic staff, fantastic food, a special mention for Manon, always smiling, Lisa, always smiling, Victor, always smiling and incredibly kind, and a special mention to Christelle, the owner, who is exceptional.

29/05/2026: Excellent meal, delicious Landes salad, very welcoming and attentive waitress. I highly recommend it.

17/10/2025: The tents were basic, and since it was the end of the season, the food was limited. Clothes got damp. Drying facilities were limited to dryers, and there were no rooms. Wi-Fi was only available in the common room.

03/10/2025: We have visited every year in a campervan for more than 10 years and the campsite is consistently welcoming and good value for money. You can pick your own secluded pitch and the toilets, showers and washing up areas are clean but you need to bring your own toilet paper. Plenty of trees, red squirrels and birds. Often a large group of youngsters at the surf camp on site, but they are friendly and no trouble. The walk to the beach has been refurbished this year and it has injected a new lease of life into the area. The beach is gorgeous however, the sea is really not suitable for children with huge crashing waves, strong currents and a steep shelf.

14/09/2025: Run away!!! Endless wait! Pitiful service, manager offended when customers mention waiting 😄 the only positive point of this moment was to sympathize with the other tables since we were all in the same state of mind. Go your own way, except Etchebest if you pass by...

13/09/2025: Waited over an hour for a pizza. The fries were served cold, the mussels were mediocre to very mediocre, and the service was deplorable. I absolutely do not recommend it for an aperitif; wait an hour and everything arrives at once.

11/07/2026: Terrible welcome, dirty dishes, uncleaned glasses with ash in them. Could do better...

09/07/2026: The fries were cooked in used oil and were soggy and black. The dishes were very poorly presented. I regret not checking the reviews before going.

31/05/2026: Just a heads-up not to book through the Google search results, as the restaurant isn't aware of them. Having traveled a long way, we were turned away by the owner this Sunday, who claimed the establishment was at the mercy of Google, that other potential customers were in the same unpleasant situation, and that she had no control over the listing.

05/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at L'Auberge de l'Abbaye this Easter Sunday. The traditional cuisine was delicious and the menu reasonably priced, all in a very pleasant setting. The welcome was warm and friendly. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism. We will gladly return!

10/06/2026: A lovely establishment with welcoming, attentive staff who truly listen to their customers. The homemade meals are delicious and excellent value for money. The establishment also regularly hosts themed evenings, such as football matches or karaoke, which creates a friendly atmosphere. The owners are particularly kind. I highly recommend this place. Thank you again for your warm welcome!

01/06/2026: A place you shouldn't linger if you don't want trouble, like a rat in the room 🛏️. I absolutely do not recommend it.
