17/07/2024: Visit this lunchtime, quite appetizing menu of the day. The problem was that the plates weren't there at all. Products obviously vacuum-packed only reheated, it is not at all worth the twenty euros charged per menu, we even canceled the desserts because we were disgusted by what we had just eaten. Extremely disappointed, we will not return and do not recommend this place at all.

11/07/2024: Today we ate and spent a very long afternoon. We were a group of over forty people. We had a pleasant welcome. The meal could rival a gourmet one. The staff are smiling, fast and attentive. The atmosphere and decor, great!!! Thank you for your kindness.

25/10/2024: Menu at 36€, -Extremely cooked veal head, no more flavor, a disaster for this dish reheated for 3 to 6 days. -Frogs, no serious, barely defrosted frogs cooked in old oil, not butter, with a taste of burnt oil. I still have the taste in my mouth. -Liver cake and dumpling, canned are better. -Beef, chuck cooked in butter drizzled with cream, the cook must be English. He may have forgotten the jam. -Formage Blanc, announced on the "exceptional" menu, too bad the good references for this cheese are unknown by the chef. He should taste real farmhouse white cheeses, with whole milk, his are just water and a little milk. -phew the desserts are ok. The service provided by an intern (it seems unprofessional to me) is very disastrous Looking forward to not seeing you again.

21/12/2024: Very beautiful setting, great welcome from restaurateurs. The chef comes to see you at the end of the service. It has become so rare! Extraordinary flavors, a little extra during the aperitif at a time when you can no longer find peanuts. Everything is homemade! The place is magical (beautiful building) and the flavors are simply sketched. Paintings decorate the places where everything is Art. Thank you very much to the couple of restaurateurs who have remained humble. Extraordinary talents of foie gras, fish, succulent prawns, beef with morels and tiramisu. Even coffee doesn’t have a common taste.

03/09/2024: Having been regulars here for many years, we were unfortunately disappointed during our last meals in this restaurant. In addition to the long and unpleasant service that has been reserved for us for some time, we were not convinced by the quality of the dishes that were served to us yesterday, in particular the salmon tartare.

03/09/2024: A salmon tartare with avocado! Actually made more avocado than salmon and all cut very large served with fries that weren't really good! And when the room manager asks you if it was, he can't bear the remark!!!! The prawns and risotto were very good! But I wouldn't go back!

17/11/2024: We had lunch for a birthday. The service and menu offering exceeded our expectations. The dishes were generous, with 4 different accompaniments, an alternative to cheese was offered. We thank you for your little attentions. A great discovery, we are delighted.

24/07/2024: Il ne faut pas être difficile pour manger au bistrot de Paris. C’était un repère pour les stéphanois il y’a plusieurs années. Le spritz n’en avait que le nom. Le plat de ravioles avec une sauce ketchup et eau. Il n’y avait que le vin d’excellent. Une adresse à éviter. Il y’a de meilleurs restaurants sur Saint-Etienne.
