18/06/2026: I drove a group of senior citizens on a tour of Crozet, followed by a meal at the inn. Welcoming staff, generous and delicious meals. Peaceful setting. Highly recommended.

09/08/2026: Correct: the galette and the crêpe were good, but the extra green salad with a dressing identical to that of a school cafeteria leaves me doubting whether the rest of the meal was homemade. The prices reflect our expectations.

07/08/2026: It's a crêperie, everything is very good, and the waitresses are very kind and friendly.

02/08/2026: We were a little disappointed with our experience. We waited a long time to be served and had to flag down the servers several times to order our drinks. We also wanted to eat, but we were told that only a specific waitress could take our order. Despite several requests, she never came. After a while, it was simply too late to order. It's a shame, because the atmosphere was pleasant, but the service organization really needs improvement. We hope this aspect can be addressed.

28/07/2026: Honestly, I'm not a fan of the mini sausages still in their Carrefour packaging… The service was unfriendly. Luckily, the beer selection was quite extensive. I won't be back.

28/07/2026: I can't believe some of the negative reviews... I've been several times at different times of year... the owner always greets us with a smile and a kind word. The young, energetic, and pleasant servers are fantastic, and goodness knows how hard it is to find a waiter or waitress in the summer. We've always eaten well at attractive prices. If I wanted higher quality, I know my meal would cost twice as much. Here, you're in a true inn, open 7 days a week, with non-stop service all day long. Nowhere else do you find such service or such extended hours. 23/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this inn. The welcome was warm and the staff very friendly. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and of high quality. We will definitely return!

07/08/2026: We had lunch on the terrace today; the setting was lovely, shaded, and peaceful. The meal was delicious; we had a quenelle made by the chef, which was not only enormous but also excellent! For dessert, the floating island was also very generous and tasty! It came with good bread! It was perfect!

15/07/2026: The waiter was about as welcoming as a prison door, and the coffee was awful—just bitter water. Really not good; only the location saved it.

28/06/2026: I'm forced to give it one star, but the experience in this dump of a hotel was more like zero. Upon arrival, the door was locked and there was no one to greet us. A sign on the door asked us to call a number on WhatsApp, and a guest finally opened it for us. A key with our name and room number was left in front of reception. When we entered the room, we were shocked to find it hadn't been cleaned: the previous guest's sheets were crumpled, and there were piles of laundry on the floor. We called the number on the door, and the unashamed person told us to choose another key at the hotel entrance—unbelievable! So we went to the second room and discovered a squalid room: stained carpet, an old-fashioned blanket riddled with cigarette burns or something similar, a bed made with questionable sheets, and a horrible smell of stale tobacco. The bathroom wasn't any better: very dilapidated, a dirty sink, and urine in the toilet! It was impossible for us to sleep in that room, so we left immediately without staying there. After several months of correspondence with the owners and promises of refunds, we realized that this hotel is a well-orchestrated scam!

08/05/2026: We were delighted to find this little crêperie open on May 8th. A wonderful discovery! Delicious galettes with a lovely presentation. Be sure to stop by if you're ever in Roanne.

25/07/2026: Hello to all the team at Les Frangine restaurant! I really love this restaurant; the food is incredibly good, the portions are generous, and the service is fast.

19/07/2026: We ordered four portions of frogs' legs with fries. €65 for 29 frogs' legs and a few fries. When we saw how few frogs' legs there were, I called to ask how much a portion of frogs' legs with fries cost: the answer was €15. And the number of frogs' legs per portion: between 8 and 15 depending on the size. That's far from what we expected, even if they were large and tasty. We wanted to try it, but we won't be doing it again.

11/08/2026: Mediocre and poorly prepared food

11/08/2026: Buffet and hot dish option. The buffet was good. However, the sautéed potatoes were definitely not fresh. The other dish consisted of two red mullet fillets that were tough on the outside, undercooked inside, and had a strange smell and texture. The red mullet fillets remained on the plate. A small discount on the bill would have been appreciated given our disappointment.

30/05/2026: My hotel was the perfect stopover between the Loire Valley and Marseille on my way to Corsica. A warm welcome, comfortable room and bedding, excellent value for money, and a lovely evening meal to round out the stay. Well done to the whole team! We'll be back.

10/05/2026: The rooms are outdated. The parking lot is too small, especially when people take up two spaces right in front of reception! The breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

26/07/2026: The service was good, but the meal was nothing special, the atmosphere in the dining room was dated, the foosball table was extra and not suitable for children! The landscaping was a bit neglected.

12/10/2025: We had a wonderful time at Brasserie La Rocadine! The welcome was very warm from the moment we arrived: the waiters and waitresses are truly charming, attentive, and cheerful. The service is fast and pleasant, always with the aim of pleasing customers. The food is delicious, well-presented, and generous, using quality ingredients. You can tell that everything is prepared with care. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, perfect for a meal with family or friends. A special word for the owner, particularly kind and cheerful, who takes the time to interact with customers—a real plus that makes all the difference. I highly recommend this place; a place where you feel good and want to come back!

17/06/2026: Excellent coffee, fantastic decor, including the exceptional Art Deco dresses. Looking forward to going back to eat there by bike; easy and secure parking right next door.

13/06/2026: If you're not from the village, good luck getting served. This place is a disgrace; after 30 minutes of drying in the sun, we left. The unpleasant stares are a must. Avoid it, even if the setting is pretty.
