07/04/2026: Very disappointing service. The waiter was particularly unpleasant, with a cold and condescending attitude throughout. I also felt uncomfortable with certain behaviors that seemed discriminatory, which is unacceptable in a place open to the public.
One expects a minimum of respect and neutrality from a professional towards all customers, which was clearly not the case here. This experience ruined our visit and makes us not want to return.

Warm welcome, quick and efficient service.
Everything is delicious. We had the daily special and the tartares that day, and the gourmet coffees too!
We'll be back.
The owner is very friendly.

18/03/2026: We went to the hotel restaurant, which was excellent, both in quality and quantity, at a reasonable price. The bread even seemed homemade! I highly recommend it! 😁
12/03/2026: A haven of peace on the outskirts of Roanne.
The welcome is always warm and the food delicious.
Le Dahu has reconciled me with andouillette sausage.
It was a festival of flavors.

12/02/2026: Run away!!! Tourist trap! It's 9 am, we order two large coffees (long espressos). Once served, the owner, not quite awake, sits down—or rather, sprawls—at the end of a table to stare at her phone and order bread for the lunch reservation for the elderly (according to her). I ask for the bill and, surprise, it's €5.60! Surprised for such a small town!!! I pay, and as I leave, I check the price displayed outside, which was cheaper, of course! No big deal, we leave, but we don't forget to leave them a review.

08/04/2026: We arrived at 8 p.m. and around 8:30 p.m., we simply asked if it would be possible to at least get our drinks.
The waitress, clearly unconcerned with the concept of service, responded in a particularly aggressive and inappropriate tone.
A delay in service is understandable in a restaurant; it happens. However, such a lack of respect is completely unacceptable. Treating customers this way is neither professional nor excusable.
So we left. Thanks for the evening...

09/02/2026: This place is almost always closed. When it finally opens, it's completely deserted, and you definitely feel like you're bothering them. The manager is about as friendly as a prison guard. The selection is very limited, the crepes aren't very good, and none of them are particularly indulgent. In short, we went somewhere else after finishing our meal because we were still hungry. Avoid at all costs.
18/01/2026: The service was a bit slow and the room was a little chilly. This is only constructive if the owner reads the review. Otherwise, we had a good time.

11/03/2026: The ribeye steak, priced at €23.60, was full of gristle. I reported the incident to the waiter, instructing him to mention it to the manager, who was present. At the checkout, there was no compensation offered, with the cashier even claiming it wasn't their fault. If you're looking for quality meat, you'll have to look elsewhere.
06/03/2026: This used to be a restaurant I really enjoyed. But today it was a disaster. My son ordered a cocktail. It was more like a diabolo (sparkling water with lemon and mango-passion fruit syrup).
For my main course, I ordered a hamburger. It consisted of a bland potato patty, a decent-quality ground beef patty, a lot of onions, and sauce on a bun. It was served with green salad and tasteless tomato pieces. No fries or any other side dish. The portion wasn't very generous.
For dessert, there was no choice. Chocolate banana tart, pear and Nutella tiramisu, chocolate cookie tart, crème brûlée, or a brioche with wine?
Nothing appealed to me. My son ordered a chocolate banana tart, which, for the price, was very sparsely filled and small.
Only the waitress's welcome was up to scratch. She was the only one handling service, greeting guests, and making the cocktails. She's everywhere and always welcoming and smiling.
I don't think I'll be returning to this establishment, because for 56 euros I left still hungry.

10/02/2026: What a horror! They just throw food on your plate, the all-you-can-eat vegetables were all gone by 1 p.m. and not replenished. We were there for 30 minutes and nothing was put back on our plates. It's filthy, the employees are just wandering around with their arms hanging off, in short, a real horror. The bottom of our burger was completely burnt, and instead of making us a whole new burger, they just remade the burnt part… I suppose the manager, who seems to have some luck in the restaurant, noticed there were no more vegetables and went to the kitchen to say they needed to make more. I told her, "Yes, it's been 45 minutes since there were any," and she just replied, "Yes, yes, we agree…" Honestly, places like this deserve to be shut down for good.

31/08/2024: Le repas était correct , mais l'assiette Corse était très copieuse mais malheureusement pas variée car il était indiqué charcuterie en réalité il faudrait marquer jambon car on aurait pu s'attendre à un assortiment de charcuterie mais il n'y avait que du jambon 🤔
Quand à l'accueil il était plutôt froid et sec . Pas de petit mot gentil.
Le dessert un profiterole pour 7€ je trouve plutôt cher .
D'ailleurs dans l'ensemble les menus et les plats sont plutôt chers .
25/08/2024: Accueil lamentable! Nous souhaitions prendre un café. La jeune dame brune à la caisse nous a dit qu'à l'intérieur ce n'était pas possible (alors qu'il y avait pleins de table de libre) en nous disant qu'il fallait aller dehors et en suggérant "il fait froid dehors" (oups). Nous avons alors proposer de prendre également un dessert à l'intérieur. Les deux jeunes brunes nous ont alors répondu qu'il n'y avait plus assez de desserts (alors qu'il y en avait dans le frigo juste à côté d'elle). Clairement nous n'étions pas les bienvenus. Nous ne reviendrons plus.

Awful welcome! We wanted to have a coffee. The young brunette lady at the cash register told us that it was not possible inside (while there were plenty of free tables) telling us that we had to go outside and suggesting "it's cold outside" (oops). We then requested to have a dessert inside. The two young brunettes then told us that there were no more desserts (while there were some in the fridge right next to her). Clearly we were not welcome. We will not come back anymore.

28/03/2024: Impression upon arrival that we were disturbing whether it was for our installation or for our aperitif requests, wine that the waiter only wanted to serve us by the pitcher, and even for the meal. He first offered us the menu of the day. We wanted a la carte dishes. I have just seen the response from the restaurateur as with the other negative opinions never questioned on the part of the restaurateur but always the fault of the restaurant customers to avoid which is bad faith it comforts me to never go there again what a liar I never said congratulations to the boss....
