12/10/2025: We had a wonderful time at Brasserie La Rocadine! The welcome was very warm from the moment we arrived: the waiters and waitresses are truly charming, attentive, and cheerful. The service is fast and pleasant, always with the aim of pleasing customers. The food is delicious, well-presented, and generous, using quality ingredients. You can tell that everything is prepared with care. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, perfect for a meal with family or friends. A special word for the owner, particularly kind and cheerful, who takes the time to interact with customers—a real plus that makes all the difference. I highly recommend this place; a place where you feel good and want to come back!

12/10/2025: Excellent value for money, a good selection of main courses and unlimited starters. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive, and the waitress was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

09/09/2026: Fantastic crêperie with delicious food and beautiful presentation. Definitely the best in Roanne! You won't be disappointed and you'll want to go back. However, it's not always open during the advertised hours. A shame. We would have loved to go, but we couldn't several times.

08/05/2026: We were delighted to find this little crêperie open on May 8th. A wonderful discovery! Delicious galettes with a lovely presentation. Be sure to stop by if you're ever in Roanne.

19/08/2026: Hello, we stopped by this morning, a group of three, and had coffee on the terrace after cycling the Oeillon. We politely asked the waitress to refill our water bottles as we were out of water (and we also ordered drinks from her bar), but she claimed the bottles wouldn't fit in their sink. We find that hard to believe, since you run a restaurant, and how are the water carafes refilled? Oh well, that's three fewer customers... 😉

18/08/2026: Very pleasant, the terrace offers a magnificent view, the fire pit is generous and, above all, of very good quality, the welcome is warm, and the owners have a great sense of humor. We will gladly return.

10/08/2026: I am writing this review to share my experience at this establishment. I came to this bar intending to have a pleasant time and enjoy a drink in peace. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing due to a lack of attention and service from the staff. Upon arrival, I sat down and waited, hoping a server would take my order. Minutes passed, and time continued to tick by without any member of staff coming to greet me, offering me the menu, or even simply asking if I wanted anything. I was patient and understanding, fully aware that a place can be busy and that there might sometimes be a wait. However, after waiting for almost an hour, I still hadn't received any attention, and no one had come to take my order. I find this particularly regrettable, as it would have been appreciated, even during a busy period, if a server had simply informed me of the wait time or taken a few moments to attend to me. Faced with this situation, and after waiting quite a long time, I unfortunately had no choice but to leave the establishment without having been able to order anything. I want to clarify that my aim is not to gratuitously criticize this establishment, but simply to share my experience as a customer. I sincerely hope that this feedback will be taken into consideration and will lead to greater attention being paid to customer service in the future. I am, of course, aware that unforeseen circumstances can occur in any establishment, but an hour's wait without even initial contact with a server seemed particularly excessive. I nevertheless wish the team continued success and hope that my next experience at this establishment, if I am to return, will be more in line with my expectations.

25/07/2026: Hello to all the team at Les Frangine restaurant! I really love this restaurant; the food is incredibly good, the portions are generous, and the service is fast.

19/07/2026: We ordered four portions of frogs' legs with fries. €65 for 29 frogs' legs and a few fries. When we saw how few frogs' legs there were, I called to ask how much a portion of frogs' legs with fries cost: the answer was €15. And the number of frogs' legs per portion: between 8 and 15 depending on the size. That's far from what we expected, even if they were large and tasty. We wanted to try it, but we won't be doing it again.

21/08/2026: Romain made us some really good, generously topped pizzas. We thoroughly enjoyed them. The waitress was very pleasant and did her job well. However, I could have done without the owner's tiresome comments insisting that we hadn't made a reservation... The restaurant was only a quarter full; there was really no point in booking! It's a shame; next time we spontaneously decide to go out to eat, we'll go somewhere else!

30/05/2026: My hotel was the perfect stopover between the Loire Valley and Marseille on my way to Corsica. A warm welcome, comfortable room and bedding, excellent value for money, and a lovely evening meal to round out the stay. Well done to the whole team! We'll be back.

10/05/2026: The rooms are outdated. The parking lot is too small, especially when people take up two spaces right in front of reception! The breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

04/10/2026: We had eaten at this restaurant before and were happy with it, but this time it was a nightmare. The frog legs were undercooked with very little parsley, and the dauphinoise potatoes were a bit hard and tasteless, served with a salad that was just a single leaf on a plate. The worst part was the dessert. The waiter offered us the dessert menu, and we ordered the tarte tatin, which I think was the only dish we liked. We overheard the owner criticizing the waiter in front of everyone, saying he shouldn't have served us that dessert because it was reserved for another table. Even when it came time to pay the bill, she remarked that we shouldn't have ordered it. To make matters worse, I was sick all night with stomach pains. I don't usually make such comments about restaurants; I'm usually pretty easygoing. I feel sorry for the poor waiter; he does everything while the owner does her accounting and makes comments in front of people who come to enjoy a peaceful meal. Honestly, avoid this place!

29/09/2026: Nothing special. Coffee was €2.50. Grated cheese was served during happy hour. I didn't have a good time.

20/04/2026: We should collaborate with students to make the place less "dark." I loved the experience, but I was in good company; it would have been difficult on my own. (Being hit on by drunk old guys doesn't make you feel safe.) I want this place to flourish! I want techno to resonate! We need F2 in Saint-Étienne! Young people need to go and dance there!

30/05/2026: The chicken sauté with Fourme cheese was terrible. It had no flavor; I'm still looking for the cheese. Really disappointed. The coffee wasn't good either.

14/02/2026: A lovely little stop at La Table! Warm welcome, quick and efficient service. Everything is delicious. We had the daily special and the tartares that day, and the gourmet coffees too! We'll be back. The owner is very friendly.

22/08/2026: This review concerns only the restaurant. I gave it one star because I can't give zero. As a regular customer of the restaurant under the previous owner, we decided to return this Saturday at lunchtime following the change of ownership last year. We arrived around 12:15 PM. About ten customers were already seated on the large terrace; in short, it wasn't crowded. We asked for a table for two people, as we hadn't made a reservation, and the waitress clearly told us it wouldn't be possible for lunch and showed us the door without any explanation. I sincerely believe that with a little goodwill, two more covers wouldn't have disrupted the service. For me, this is a deal-breaker; I won't be repeating the experience. Such a welcome doesn't deserve a second chance.

26/05/2026: A disaster! Tiny, dirty rooms; whatever you do, don't look under the beds (the floor is covered in dust and dirty cotton swabs). Housekeeping is only done every three days. No soap or toilet paper. The room is minuscule; you can barely walk around the bed. No shelves, just a ridiculously small table. When the owner and staff leave, it's impossible to access the garden, the restaurant, or the pool, which was closed on May 26th in 30-degree heat because it wasn't yet operational! The waitresses are nice but completely untrained. The value for money is abysmal.

26/09/2026: The staff were lovely, the kitchen staff yesterday, September 25th at lunchtime, were honestly excellent, nothing to complain about. The welcome, the smiles, and the service were all top-notch, and the tagine was more than delicious. Keep up the good work! And there you have my review, as promised ☺️
