21/06/2026: This restaurant calls itself semi-gastronomic... we had a completely different experience: - The amuse-bouches were there, but lacked any real flavor. - The starter: small and very average scallops, with an extra charge of 8 euros on top of the set menu price! - The meat was full of gristle. They kindly offered to take our plates back and brought us replacements... the exchange was somewhat unsuccessful, but we appreciated the gesture. - The desserts, like the amuse-bouches, were basic. Not a word or gesture of goodwill was offered at the time of payment regarding our unpleasant experience. Given the price of the set menu, we expected a much higher quality of service!

12/07/2026: Always a warm welcome! The homemade cuisine brings quality, freshness, and originality to the "small and large barrel" menus. Extensive wine list with wines available by the glass. Never disappointed every time we return. The atmosphere is that of a traditional Lyonnais bistro... No! Orléanais!

12/07/2026: The starter was cold and dry, giving the impression it had been cooked the day before. The "noodle salad" served as a side dish led me to believe that serving it cold was more about using up leftovers than a culinary choice. The staff were friendly, however. The setting is very average, as the terrace is right next to the road.

17/05/2026: A restaurant for everyone where fine dining doesn't have to mean a stuffy atmosphere. We hadn't dared to go to a restaurant with our children for a long time, but this experience has rekindled our love of family outings. Exceptional welcome: the staff was very kind and attentive (help with coats, booster seat), and the service was quick for the children. As a result, the children didn't cause any trouble. The fish we ate was excellent. We were delighted with our experience. Thank you!

20/05/2026: My wife and I came for dinner last night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff was very friendly, we were served promptly, and the food was excellent. We ordered a warm goat cheese appetizer, a tartiflette, a fish course, and the coconut tart—everything was delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.

19/05/2026: A small but friendly restaurant. The waitress seemed a bit lost and made a mistake/forgot some things in our order, but she made up for it later. There weren't many dishes, but that's a sign of quality. I had the Savoyard fondue, which was served with bread, potatoes, and unlimited salad: it was very good!

11/07/2026: First meal at Mamie Bigoude's, and definitely not the last! I hope to be able to stop by every time I'm in Orléans! The savory buckwheat crepes are excellent and generously filled, as are the sweet crepes! The service was very quick and the staff were incredibly friendly! Looking forward to returning! PS: Bonus points for the choice of music!

07/07/2026: We had a very pleasant evening. As with each of our visits, the food was excellent, the dishes were refined, and the dessert was a real treat. We simply wanted to share a small suggestion for improvement regarding the service. We had chosen a wine pairing, but we had to ask for the glasses, which arrived a few minutes after our courses. At the end of the meal, we would also have appreciated a server coming to clear the table and asking if we would like coffee or a digestif. We would gladly have stayed a little longer. It remains a very good restaurant that we recommend for the quality of its cuisine. We simply hope to find, on our next visit, service that matches the quality of the food.

08/06/2026: Wow, what a surprise! We went there on May 29th, just the girls. This restaurant is a gem. The welcome was fantastic: smiles and humor—I loved it! Homemade cuisine, no frills, but quality and quantity. The chef came to greet all the customers and made sure we were satisfied... it's so rare, it's worth mentioning!
