24/08/2026: The restaurant's location on a bend in the road makes it conveniently visible to travelers. What a pleasant surprise! A charming welcome, tasteful decor, and above all, a remarkable daily menu. Beautifully presented dishes, simple recipes perfectly executed (cooked to perfection), and a wonderful emphasis on the flavors of each ingredient. A highly recommended stop, whether during the week (like us) or on weekends, when the menus are very tempting.

07/08/2026: I came with a friend and I highly recommend it. We first discovered La Mangeoire ten years ago, and it's wonderful to see that the business is still going strong. The portions are generous and delicious. The welcome and service are warm and friendly. The owner came to ask us several times if we had any comments, needs, etc., without being intrusive. Thank you again, we'll be back! P.S.: The small terrace is perfect for having a chance to chat and enjoy your meal :)

05/08/2026: We came last night (Tuesday), the atmosphere was fantastic. The food was excellent, simple, just like home cooking! We had open-faced sandwiches, which were delicious and very generous. The waitress deserves a standing ovation; she always had a joke to tell, a big smile, was energetic, and very pleasant! The service was quick and efficient. Don't hesitate if you're looking for a nice place to eat and have a good time :)

14/07/2026: We stopped at this restaurant after seeing the good reviews online. We had a great time and the food was excellent. The Caesar salad was superb! The chicken curry, sausage rougail, and hanger steak were all very good! It's a shame the portions weren't very generous. For dessert, I loved the profiterole; the 110 sundae was good, but nothing special. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food.

08/09/2026: I'm a regular customer at Feuillète and I have to say the service is deteriorating. This morning, September 8th, 2026, the person serving us didn't use tongs to pick up the pastries. I pointed this out, and she told me her hands were clean, even though she was handling the cash register (cash, etc.) and the screen... This only raises doubts about all the other hygiene rules!

03/09/2026: Feuillette Pithiviers, Wednesday, September 2nd at 12:45 PM: Selected items: salmon and spinach quiche (very good), raspberry macaron (excellent), Caesar salad (no Caesar dressing in stock, the balsamic dressing wasn't suitable for this salad), Italian sandwich (excellent). The only downside was an unfriendly person who struggled to heat our quiche and sold us 3+1 undercooked traditional baguettes, despite our request for "well-cooked." They didn't bother to ask the person in charge of bread to make the baguettes at least a little more cooked. The result: inedible, floury, undercooked bread! The same person seemed annoyed by our requests for cold drinks, cutlery, and cooked bread. I've never seen anything like it since the establishment opened; the young men and women are generally very friendly.

01/08/2026: The food is very good, with interesting and varied flavor combinations, especially the cucumber and apple ice cream for dessert. The service, however, is a bit slow, both with taking our order and with the bottle of wine, which wasn't kept at our table and had to be requested each time. The dining room isn't air-conditioned, and it gets hot quickly.

15/07/2026: Despite the excellent food and beautiful presentation, we waited almost 45 minutes before our table was served. We had ordered a bottle of wine, which was chilled. A waitress came to tell us she would bring it back, but we had to flag down another server because no one returned. It was a shame because we had to choose between eating our cold meal with the wine or eating our hot meal without it.

02/05/2026: We were delighted with our stay at Clos Du Vigneron. We were on a cycling tour, and everything was done to ensure we had a peaceful, restful, and rejuvenating night. Breakfast was truly excellent, and our host was very accommodating to our requests. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. Highly recommended accommodation, an address to remember, and a very warm welcome. The secure bike storage was also a nice touch.

05/08/2026: The owner is extremely unfriendly. The saleswomen don't even say hello when you come in, they're too busy chatting amongst themselves. A good reputation for bad staff and bad management.

As for the Total restaurant, since I only had my bank card to pay for food, he was also annoyed. I already left a review on Trukfly which was moderated, oddly enough.

I didn't like Pithiviers fondant before trying Cyrille Perthuisot's. The boutique pastries are excellent and refined. And what can I say about the chocolates! This is where you see the difference between these and cakes from a bakery; this is a true pastry shop, and you can clearly taste the difference! It's refined, indulgent, and generous. Without a doubt, the best place in the region!
