15/01/2026: I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance before catching my train, and I was delighted.
The atmosphere is simple and friendly, the service quick and pleasant, the cuisine home-style (capon with morels and plaice with beurre blanc sauce that day), and all at an unbeatable price.
It was a very pleasant surprise!

We had a time constraint and the staff adapted perfectly while maintaining a very pleasant smile. Excellent value for money.
I highly recommend it.
18/01/2026: A nice little brasserie, but despite offering quality fare with a menu that appears to be entirely homemade, it suffers from a neighborhood bar atmosphere. To be clear, this doesn't mean it's a bad place, but it's simply not the more upscale restaurant ambiance you might find elsewhere. That being said, the food is excellent, and I hope the owners will gradually attract the clientele they deserve. ☺️

Homemade...delicious, flavorful, very well served and cooked, it's calm and with a smile from beginning to end!! The price is more than reasonable considering the quality! A very good lunch with my partner, we highly recommend it and will definitely return!! Keep it up!!

21/02/2026: During a weekend in the Loiret region, we stayed in a hotel in Dampierre and decided to eat at a restaurant nearby. What a pleasant surprise! A very warm welcome, a great atmosphere, the staff were incredibly attentive and took the time to chat with us. The meal was delicious and very generous. I highly recommend it! A big thank you!

01/01/2026: Located on the Loire à Vélo cycle route, Le Relais de Mantelot is nestled beside a lock and the Loire River... The site is pleasant with plenty of green spaces for relaxing or picnicking...😉

It's good, it's simple, and the welcome is warm.

11/03/2026: Excellent food, kudos to the cook, but it's a shame we can't come back to enjoy your wines because the service was appalling. The staff were not at all friendly, with a complete lack of attention and consideration. Saying the customer is king is nonsense, fine, and we don't want to be kissed either, but still, we're not dogs. Not even the decency and politeness to ask us if the dish was good. A total lack of cordiality. I do not recommend it.

02/10/2025: Very nice establishment where you are welcomed with a beautiful smile. The dishes are homemade, with local products, are delicious at an affordable price. The service is a little fast for people in a hurry 😉. Nice wine list and an excellent Châtaigne kir.
