24/02/2026: The scallop stir-fry was truly excellent: flavorful vegetables, perfectly cooked scallops, and whole, peeled prawns—flawless. My colleagues thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent cuts of beef. The desserts were perfect too! All this for a reasonable price: I'll definitely be back next time I'm here!

15/02/2026: This is my second time eating here. I thoroughly enjoyed it; the ingredients were carefully selected, the flavors were bursting with flavor, and the dessert was a perfect finale: pear poached in hibiscus juice with pistachio-studded whipped cream. 🤩😍 Keep delighting us!

04/12/2025: It was a real pleasure to return to Villa des Bordes! It had been twelve years since I'd had the chance to dine there… and I rediscovered, with genuine emotion, everything that makes this establishment so charming. Stéphanie and Gilles' welcome is exceptionally sincere: you truly feel expected, valued, almost like you're visiting friends. The service is attentive without ever being intrusive, and the food… what a delight! Plates brimming with finesse, inventiveness, and flavors that linger in the memory. You can taste the work, the passion, the desire to please. This is an establishment that does immense honor to our town and our region. And yes, I readily admit my slight local pride: when you're lucky enough to have such restaurants—and of course, the best rillettes in the world made with charcuterie from Cléry—why shouldn't you be proud of it? A huge congratulations to the entire team for this experience, which went far beyond a simple dinner. Thank you for this wonderful time. See you very soon!

19/10/2025: I'm reposting my review because it hasn't been published despite the views: 🤔🤔🤔 Having heard and seen many excellent reviews about this restaurant, I wanted to enjoy the magic described about the place 🤩 and taste the gastronomy advertised 😋. So! Verdict! ➡️Mixed review: Nice place but not exceptional, pleasant service and beautiful presentation of the dishes, but above all, the taste isn't there!!! Unless we're talking about the pork tenderloin, which is as salty as the bill. 😬 The wine is served by the glass... Or rather, by the glass. The quantities aren't as generous as on their website. Too bad, I expected more from this restaurant. Can't post photos 🤔

25/11/2025: A wonderful stopover. A traditional French restaurant, quick, clean, and high quality. Special mention for the venison Parmentier and the gravlax. Bravo.

18/10/2025: Really cool hidden gem just a little outside of Orleans. Food sans chichi and very well priced. Service was charming. The only thing missing was maybe a little bit of background music 😉

24/01/2026: Parking full. Ordinary service. The waiter, who appeared to be of a certain age and lacked good manners, explained the menu, his face only ever directed at one of us. This same waiter poured the water without looking or saying a word. The starters and main courses were very salty. The sea bream, or rather a small piece of sea bream, was tasteless. The lamb shoulder was ordinary. Both of us were disappointed, especially considering the prices are those of fine dining. We do not recommend this place and would strongly advise against it.

02/03/2026: I recently discovered this establishment after a birthday celebration on February 21st 😊. We were welcomed by a young couple and their charming daughter, who, by the way, we didn't hear a peep all evening (lulled by the music 🎶🎵). A perfect place to get together with friends or family.... The service was good, kudos to the two servers. The atmosphere was great, despite the gentleman being a newcomer 😉👌, and you can feel his professionalism as a bartender; this isn't your first time 😅. I send you all my encouragement for the future 👏. The owner can be proud of his team 🤝. Keep it up, I recommend it 100%! I'll be back 😉

27/02/2026: A wonderful discovery at La Ferme de Lorris! It had been over 10 years since my last visit. A warm welcome, perfectly in keeping with its family theme, from the owner, his wife, and their young daughter, as well as their two servers. A big thank you to you all for the excellent service and this delightful evening. The meal was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was fantastic; kudos to the owner for his new role as a talented DJ! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

21/03/2026: The carrot medley, the pavlova, and the canelés alone are worth the trip: a true delight for the taste buds. The welcome is warm, the staff attentive and smiling, and the view of the Charpenterie gardens or the Loire River is very pleasant. However, the decor struck me as somewhat dated and out of step with the quality of the food. The plastic chairs and the slightly old-fashioned black and white ambiance don't do justice to the cuisine. As someone from Orléans who has known the restaurant since its opening, I am convinced that a redesigned setting worthy of the chef's talent would restore this excellent establishment to its former glory.

06/03/2026: This was our very first time at this pizzeria. The welcome was very pleasant, the phone reservation went smoothly, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, there was no unnecessary waiting, and the value for money was excellent. We recommend it, but please don't change a thing!

28/02/2026: Very friendly and accommodating welcome as I arrived at the end of service. Good BBQ pizza. Ordinary dessert. The atmosphere was unremarkable. The service was efficient and friendly, both the waitress and the waiter! 👏👏👏

18/03/2026: Quick service, which is appreciated in a work setting. Good value for money. The salad was generous and well-seasoned. Unfortunately, we didn't get any bread as they were out of stock.

10/03/2026: Good and affordable, what more could you ask for? As a bonus, the drive-thru for takeout has a queue and is sometimes very popular, which is a sign of its value.

16/12/2023: After calling to book and confirming that an hour would be enough to eat, the response received was: starter/main course/dessert no but main course or main course/dessert no problem. Arrived on site 10 minutes to wait to be placed, once placed 20 minutes to wait for the order to be taken only to be told that 30 minutes will not be enough. Result 10min journey, 30min wait and 10min return journey for nothing and no time to eat elsewhere.. The restaurant is nice, the food looks good and the 2 members of staff seem pleasant but there is a severe lack of staff for the number of people in the room, it's a shame I won't have the opportunity or the desire to go back there.
