20/08/2026: A bar/brasserie, we walk a few steps further and here we are in the restaurant. The waitresses are very pleasant, and the dishes are always very good. For dessert: the choice is agonizing between the Pithiviers and the French toast. I highly recommend this restaurant, but please save us two covers.

18/08/2026: I initially left a fairly quick review, but given the owner's particularly aggressive response, I'd like to clarify a few points. First, I want to emphasize that the waitress gave us a very warm welcome and provided impeccable service throughout the meal. It's important to mention this. Regarding the dishes, several options were already unavailable when we ordered: 3 out of the 8 dishes on the menu. Contrary to what you stated in your response, my partner wouldn't necessarily have chosen the salmon lasagna as her first choice. She would have preferred a fish dish with rice, but the options had become limited. Regarding the lasagna itself, I'm sorry if this is unpleasant, but we found the amount of salmon very small. For a €15 dish, we expected a more generous portion of the advertised product. Our plate consisted mainly of pasta with only a few pieces of salmon. I ordered a burger. The meat was cooked perfectly, but the burger arrived cold. This wasn't because I had to step away for a few minutes to move my car urgently. The mozzarella cheese wasn't melted, and the added sauce, while very good, was clearly served cold. For me, a good burger also relies on a balance of temperatures and properly melted cheese, which unfortunately wasn't the case here. After my partner commented about the amount of salmon, we clearly felt unwelcome. The atmosphere became colder, and we decided to cut our lunch short. I have no intention of criticizing your establishment. I'm simply sharing the experience we had that day. Perhaps this restaurant is very popular with its regular customers and locals, but as tourists passing through, the welcome we received and the overall impression we were left with unfortunately fell short of our expectations. It's a shame, because with a quality initial welcome and dishes that had a good foundation, this experience could have been very different.

09/08/2026: A charming little inn run by very pleasant staff. We had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner, accompanied by our two small dogs. The owner is very kind. She wasn't serving in the evening, but we introduced ourselves and were immediately welcomed. We had a high-quality dinner with fresh, expertly prepared ingredients. The dining room was also air-conditioned, which was very pleasant. During this period of intense heat, I highly recommend this establishment for its meticulous attention to detail in preparing the dishes and the warm welcome you will receive.

06/08/2026: Not great, it's not what it used to be. For example, the Caesar salad had only a third of a crouton, which was far too hard. So I ordered a panini to complete my meal, but the panini wasn't great either, so I was disappointed.

09/07/2026: A very welcoming, helpful, and friendly brasserie. The prices are very reasonable for truckers, and there's a parking lot a 5-minute walk away. I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

03/11/2025: Honestly, this little pizzeria is really great, and their pizzas are just wonderfully good. Anyway, if you're ever in Gien, stop by because they don't just make pizzas; they also serve salads, burgers (I haven't tried them yet, they're not really my thing), and especially crepes. In short, I highly recommend it because, apart from kebabs and other fast food, there are some real gems for the same price.

I especially loved the non-alcoholic cocktail, a bit like kombucha, as well as the very original and delicious iced coffee. The avocado toast was also delicious—go for it! I'll be back!

23/08/2026: Excellent charcuterie platter, beautifully presented and quite generous. The meats were delicious and served with fresh bread. The restaurant has a very friendly atmosphere and the service is pleasant.

22/08/2026: We wanted a small beer and a charcuterie board. The beer arrived after 10 minutes, brought by the brunette waitress who was working the area next to the food truck. She just placed the three glasses on the table without saying if the charcuterie board was coming. I called her over three minutes later to ask when it would arrive, and she haughtily replied, "You have to give it time to prepare, it's not done like that," and then she left. So, I asked my husband at that moment, "Three thin slices of bread, two pieces of cheese, pickles, and some bread—it takes 30 minutes to make that?" The concept is, you drink without eating! 🙃 All this only for the charcuterie board to arrive five minutes later, brought to us by the much more pleasant blonde woman with glasses. When it came time to pay, she asked me twice if everything went well, still with a haughty air. I answered her twice, "Yes, I don't have much of a voice, I've caught a bit of a cold." On top of that, she took a piece of paper and fanned herself in front of her face, like she didn't care, she was hot. If this young woman doesn't like what she does, she can stay home; it would spare the customers from having to put up with her moods. It was Friday, August 21st, between 1:30 and 2:00 PM. We were at one of the two round tables on the raised floor next to the exit and the truck, and opposite the restrooms. We come regularly, but I usually ask for our friend, the one who's always funny and friendly, but he wasn't there yesterday. I'm not thanking you or congratulating you. It's a shame because after all these years of coming, once is enough to change our perspective.
