28/05/2026: A very pleasant place in a beautiful setting near the base. The staff is very welcoming. The dishes are original and can be accompanied by a scoop of ice cream (80 flavors in total). Worth trying if you're in the area.

27/05/2026: A fantastic discovery: a restaurant concept centered around ice cream. The cocktails are made with ice cream, and the open-faced sandwiches or salads are served with ice cream in original flavors (cheese, spices, garden herbs, or something else entirely). I opted for an open-faced sandwich with a scoop of Roquefort cheese—a delight to try if you're ever in Nérac! Absolutely top-notch!

02/04/2026: We passed through Tarbes on April 1st, 2026, and I swear it's not an April Fool's joke! We had the €16.50 set menu, the worker's menu, which was very, very good and generous. Well done, don't change a thing! An all-you-can-eat buffet (let's not exaggerate) is perfectly normal, and hats off to the chefs and the whole team! Thank you all so much!

10/05/2026: For a place that's supposed to be welcoming in Duras, this brasserie is unfortunately one to avoid. The service is completely inadequate: the staff isn't friendly, and the hygiene is clearly lacking. All the products seem to be frozen, which in no way justifies the prices charged. The most shocking thing: the waitress took uneaten bread from another customer's table, put it back in the basket, and served it to other customers. This is unacceptable. The value for money is therefore very poor. It's absolutely not worth the price, as the photos show.

18/05/2026: Hello, I had a very bad experience at this establishment. The waitress was not at all friendly and yelled at the customers! When you're in a bad mood or angry, you don't come to work to take it out on the customers! Management, do something!!

29/01/2026: I've stayed at the hotel several times before, but I hadn't tried the restaurant. What can I say? The food service was beyond appalling. The cook has no business being in the kitchen; he should find another line of work. The waitress puts on a show but doesn't care about her customers. It took over 30 minutes before anyone bothered to take my order. As for the main course, there was nothing left in the kitchen. She offered me a plate of fries with a green salad. I must be dreaming; this must be some kind of hidden camera prank. For the appetizer, I had to wait 40 minutes to be served, and the same amount of time for the main course, which turned out to be a merguez sausage with a spoonful of dry rice. In short, come here to sleep, but definitely don't go to the restaurant.

19/04/2026: Excellent experience: I bought some tea and received great advice. I went back to enjoy another cup of tea and an excellent pistachio-raspberry tart.

03/03/2026: We stopped by for a light snack and found the hot chocolate excellent, the decor very pleasant. A lovely experience overall; however, the waiter's attitude was too familiar for our liking. Perhaps this needs to be addressed. Which is a shame in such a welcoming place where everything is so good.

29/04/2026: A restaurant with a well-established reputation spanning over 30 years, complete with a touch of history recounted by the waiter/owner who's been there since he was 22—we would have loved to know his first name to make the experience even more Belgian 😉 The atmosphere is cozy, artistic, and warm, without ever feeling pretentious. It's simply a place where you feel good. The menu is already enticing from the moment you make a reservation, but I especially want to highlight the children's dish—and what a treat it is! A flavorful free-range chicken, accompanied by sautéed potatoes and grilled vegetables, all topped with a generous and delicious sauce. Simple in appearance, but perfectly executed. Quick, efficient… just the kind of food you'd want to eat at home. So much so that you could almost hear a pin drop 😉 Our children eat just like us, everything—and it's such a joy to see a restaurant that goes beyond the usual nuggets and hamburgers. A taste for good food is something you learn from a young age… and here, it's mission accomplished. At Bombecul, we were delighted. We'll be back very soon!
