A quality cake shouldn't have that much sugar, even if you enjoy it! Beyond the question of taste, we mustn't forget the health aspect. Pleasure doesn't need such excess. I no longer buy from you because of this, and that's a real shame.

16/02/2026: I wasn't familiar with this pastry shop, not being from Épernay. It was a magnificent taste experience, surely the best pastry shop in the Champagne-Ardenne region (having traveled extensively). We had eight different cakes; we embarked on eight culinary journeys of excellence. Bravo to the team!

14/03/2026: A true Reims institution. L’Excelsior maintains the old-fashioned brasserie style we love, with a lovely atmosphere and top-notch service that showcases its expertise. Excellent cocktails to accompany the meal: we had a perfectly executed St-Germain Spritz. As for the food, the foie gras was superb and the cod with chorizo ​​was very well done. A wonderful evening, thank you to the whole team.

The open-faced sandwich was very generous and delicious, and the crêpes are a must-try!! The prices are really very reasonable and affordable. The staff were very pleasant and always smiling! 15/02/2026: We had a wonderful Valentine's Day evening at Les Caudalies restaurant in Châlons-en-Champagne. We were welcomed into a very warm setting, with an atmosphere that was both elegant and convivial, perfect for February 14th. Despite the lively atmosphere, the service was impeccable: attentive, professional, and perfectly paced. The meal was delicious and very generous, offering excellent value for money. Special mention goes to the bottle of champagne offered at €60, which was simply superb. A truly wonderful restaurant that we recommend without hesitation. We will gladly return!

15/02/2026: We went there for Valentine's Day dinner. It was a lovely and delicious experience. The service was also fantastic, very sweet and friendly. We were seated within 20 minutes, and without a reservation. Highly recommended in Reims; we'll definitely be back.

09/02/2026: We were surprised to see some large bags in front of the elevator. They were there from the time we arrived until we left, which didn't look very nice. However, the staff were very friendly and kind. They even offered a water bowl for our dog (although they forgot to bring it). The room was quite small, but the price wasn't too bad. The location is good, with many restaurants nearby. We’ve been to their restaurant a few times and we like the atmosphere. It was quiet during our stay, and you can get a discount on parking. Overall, it's a nice hotel with small rooms.

07/02/2026: The hotel entrance is welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm. The floors are easily accessible: elevator and other amenities. The staff is very helpful. Drawbacks: The towel warmer is not working. There's a lack of towel racks in the bathroom. The capsule coffee machine isn't very user-friendly. I wasted two capsules before figuring it out. Major drawback: The television cuts out due to too many devices being connected simultaneously. This was indicated in English on the TV. Regarding the breakfast: A generous and varied breakfast is served in the restaurant area, with its beautiful bay windows overlooking the esplanade. The atmosphere is calm, with good music (my partner likes music; I don't as much when I wake up).

20/09/2025: A cozy restaurant where you can sample various champagnes. The menu has a regional focus, and all the dishes were delicious – especially the tarte tatin, which was simply outstanding! Plus, the very friendly service – highly recommended.

03/03/2026: I'm a regular at this restaurant and I've never been disappointed, whether in winter or summer when the influx of tourists is impressive. I ordered our Valentine's Day meal there and it was a real treat for €90, including two glasses of Champagne. Unbeatable value for money. We'll gladly return.

03/03/2026: We had a truly delicious meal with, of course, bubbles. It was very busy, so reservations are essential. Friendly staff, but sometimes the wait is a bit longer due to the crowds.

22/02/2026: We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening, February 21st. The atmosphere was great, the restaurant spacious, and the staff very friendly. However, I ordered a double-patty burger and my partner ordered a duck leg, but there was a mistake with the order. My burger only had one patty instead of two. It was sent back to the kitchen, and the wait was unbearable, all just to add one more patty. The plate arrived 20 minutes later, so I ate cold food, and my partner had already finished hers. Very disappointed; it was a bad experience for me, and I don't intend to return because of this error. I believe that at €23 for the burger, the food should be impeccable, including the fries, which were frozen and not homemade… What a shame. Fortunately, my partner was delighted with her duck leg.

18/01/2026: Utter disappointment. An interminable wait only to be served cod that was clearly defrosted, tasteless, and uninteresting. Two portions of rice—ridiculous. As for the sauce, there was barely enough to coat one corner of the plate, insufficient to compensate for the overall dryness. Far too long a wait for such a mediocre result. Very disappointing value for money.
