Organizing a meal when you're 750 km away isn't easy, but with this establishment, it's no surprise. The evening went exactly as planned, the service met our expectations, and the staff were always attentive. Well done!

28/04/2026: I came for lunch one weekday with a colleague. Everything was perfect. The service was very professional, the restaurant and the place have character; it's warm, old-fashioned, but very charming. The dishes were subtly prepared, full of flavor, and frankly, offering this kind of sophisticated menu for 36 euros is increasingly rare. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

08/05/2026: While I no longer set foot in the downtown location, this restaurant has never let me down. We went today around 11:40 am, everything was piping hot, and we were served quickly. The only downside I found was that the person taking our order at the drive-thru was also taking orders at the same time, which could be inconvenient for customers who need information. Aside from that, the Ultrabox menu is fantastic and very generous. Thank you!

06/05/2026: Arrived this Sunday around 4:30 PM... Catastrophic! Not a single table cleaned, the floor was filthy. It's really difficult to run a restaurant, especially during the busy season, but we were the only customers. I complained to a manager who seemed overwhelmed, even though it was incredibly quiet. He told me to send someone to clean, but I had time to finish my meal before seeing anyone. A word of advice: in the children's play area, leave their shoes on; they're in a terrible state... they're sticky! 🤢 I wish you better ratings in the future.

10/01/2026: Beautifully decorated restaurant. Wide selection of dishes. Very generous portions. All-you-can-eat buffet for 52 euros for two. I recommend it. It's a shame this restaurant is a bit outside the city, but it's worth the trip.

13/04/2026: Nice hotel close to the center. Beds very comfortable, bathroom a little bit small but ok. Restaurant offers very good food. All and all we felt very welcome and spent a nice weekend

07/04/2026: A standard hotel with no particular charm, where the rooms are starting to show their age, especially the bathrooms and amenities. The breakfast buffet is adequate. The hotel's main appeal lies in its Michelin-starred restaurant, which offers a completely inflexible menu (set menu or nothing). The dining room boasts an original coffered wooden ceiling and contemporary murals, but the lighting and furnishings are mismatched. In short, a complete renovation would significantly improve the overall experience.

19/04/2026: A brasserie-style restaurant close to the town center and the train station. We had lunch there as a couple. The food was good, and the fries seemed homemade. I found the prices a bit high. The waitress and the woman behind the bar were very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed.

12/04/2026: A restaurant where the decor and ambiance come at a price. The food was good, very tasty. But for the price we paid, we expected lighter, more sophisticated cuisine. Perhaps smaller portions, but more refined and subtle? For example: the scallop sauce was far too salty, and the lemon tart biscuit was too sweet and too thick. It would have been appreciated if the amuse-bouches had been mentioned when we ordered, given that one of them was identical to one of the appetizers. We found the final bill a bit disproportionate. There are plenty of restaurants with a smaller menu that offer higher quality and are less expensive!

14/03/2026: A true Reims institution. L’Excelsior maintains the old-fashioned brasserie style we love, with a lovely atmosphere and top-notch service that showcases its expertise. Excellent cocktails to accompany the meal: we had a perfectly executed St-Germain Spritz. As for the food, the foie gras was superb and the cod with chorizo ​​was very well done. A wonderful evening, thank you to the whole team.

You can eat better at Flunch… Fortunately, the service was excellent, the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. But despite everything, we won't be back until there's at least some basic cooking… a homemade sauce, a slow-cooked meat, the bare minimum to call yourself a restaurant…

03/03/2026: Don't be put off by the old reviews; the restaurant/bar has been recently taken over. We received a very warm welcome from the friendly and pleasant waitress. We ordered the set menu, and it was excellently prepared by the chef. We also had the chance to meet the owner, who was also very friendly. This is a welcome change; I highly recommend it.

12/04/2026: The hotel boasts a prime location right on the Avenue de Champagne and makes a truly beautiful first impression. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that some areas could benefit from a bit more upkeep and maintenance. We stayed in the "Banana Room," which pleasantly surprised us – it was especially quiet at night, significantly better than expected for such a central location. The bathroom could be improved: Unfortunately, there's no towel rack, so you have to improvise to hang your towels. This is somewhat inconvenient. Breakfast was good and perfectly adequate. However, the reception is only staffed for a few hours a day, which can be a bit limiting depending on your needs. Overall, it's a nice hotel with a lot of potential that could be truly outstanding with a few improvements.

28/03/2026: A delight of a boutique bed & breakfast, associated with the champagne house A.Bergere, a place we’d stayed before a couple times The property is beautiful and antique, modern inside and comfortable, centenary impressive architecture, very central at the heart of Epernay, and on the must-be-there “Avenue de Champagne” Our room had this avenue view, lively and bubbly during the day, when you shut the curtains it insulated from the cold outside and the noise breakfast has all that I wanted, ham and charcuterie, and various cheeses, yoghurt, a couple of espresso coffee machines, milk frother, all sorts of seasonal fruits, as well as nuts The room also offers an espresso coffee machine, all toiletries u might need, the shower is s waterfall and nice and warm, fluffy robes in the wardrobe, couldn’t be more comfortable Totally recommend,
