11/08/2024: “To the fine capon” This more than flattering name does not at all reveal the quite ordinary and ordinary cuisine of this establishment. A very very slow welcome and service with a server more than asleep What an atmosphere!!! A pizza partially burnt and dough + additive from this forester more than average to the point that I only ate a small part of the latter And that's it and we left We wanted to go to the Sardinia pizzeria right on the sidewalk opposite but the terrace was fully occupied Too bad because here it is a real and excellent pizzeria Which I recommend without hesitation With all my regret for going to the fine capon that I will baptize i in fine “with battery chicken” So all you have to do is cross the sidewalk and you will have a very good evening and will not be like I am writing this hardly pleasant but necessary little note.

05/09/2024: De ontdekking van 2024. Dus dit jaar weer tweemaal. Wat een verademing, prima menu du jour en prima prijs. Bediening is vriendelijk, zorgt voor water voor de hond. Vast adresje voor ons.

02/09/2024: Sur la route de Verdun, avons déjeuné dans cet établissement qui ne paie pas de mine mais saura satisfaire, en autre, le vacancier de passage. Parking pas très grand mais on trouve sa place.. Façade "vieille France" et accueil très sympathique. Service efficace et souriant. Toilettes sans reproche. Cuisine "limitée", locale (andouillette, pied de cochon...) très correcte à un prix tout doux. Bonne maison tout à fait recommandable. On a bien fait de s'y arrêter!

20/09/2024: The location is great, but very difficult to drive to - had we realised how complicated the one way systems were we would have come in using google maps. The hotel is OK, decent bar, OK rooms.

16/08/2024: Pleasant hotel, clean rooms with nice furnishings, very friendly staff, great breakfast, great bar and plenty of parking in the middle of Châlons. We'd love to come back!

07/08/2024: Lack of an external menu display. We had trouble finding the entrance so we turned back. It will be for next time because it has since been recommended to us

06/12/2024: Unique menu at €47 which changes every day depending on the seasons and the chef’s mood! Beautiful wine list, prices to match. Beautiful room, friendly service. Hotel. Parking.

18/06/2025: I booked this hotel for a work trip with some clients. We couldn’t book Les Haras as it was full but this seemed good from our research. Upon arriving we realised this was a huge mistake. The hotel looks like a French Ibis il be honest. The staff were extremely rude (except Shaima, she was lovely to us all) but the two older gents were clueless and rude. The air con didn’t work, the showers didn’t go hot. There was one iron to share across the hotel (9 of us on this trip all needed the iron). To make all this worse, after the cleaners came in I noticed my ring had gone missing and so did some euros. I contacted Xavier and he completely dismissed me and done nothing to help. I will be doing everything in my power to ensure people stop booking at this hotel as it’s not safe for your belongings and it’s an awful stay to say the least

14/06/2025: Our cash got stolen from this hotel ! ! Nice view however we got stolen cash 300 euros. We never asked for cleaning however our room was wide open when we are back in the room and seems cleaner went to lunch and money was gone! Planning to call police tomorrow.

16/07/2024: J ai passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel qui est un bon rapport qualité prix l accueil est agréable les chambres sont fonctionnelles et propres Il y a une route derrière ce est à l entree de une zone industrielle mais la nuit ça va Le devant de la hôtel aurait peut être besoin d un rafraîchissement Le petit déjeuner est correct Ç est un bon hôtel pour y passer une nuit ou 2 et qui est très proche de Reims

16/06/2024: We needed a stop off whilst heading north to Calais. Found hotel easily enough, big car park, quick check in with a friendly welcome. We were pleasantly suprised to be offered the opportunity to park our motorbikes inside... Dry and safer! The rooms are basic but very clean, lots of hot water for the shower, and the rooms were quiet... So a good night's sleep had by all. Good on site bar for the evening, and a wide range of food and drinks in the morning. Lots of restaurants in easy walking distance from the hotel. appreciated, and ensured a 5*.

10/09/2024: A nice surprise when passing through Sézanne. A simple but quality meal. We had lunch there with pleasure.

09/09/2024: Delicious food, quality of the food is excellent. During our short stay at the campsite, we had dinner there two days in a row. Neat place and the young girl who serves is friendly.
