08/07/2025: Great delicious refined food, fast and friendly service, overall very good experience. If there’s one thing that could be better, the only thing we could think of was the bread which was not completely on point. But the rest was really great! Can absolutely recommend this place!
06/07/2025: We had a dinner for two in the nice wine cellar. We started with a cheese and charcuterie platter which was a nice way to start. For the main course we had the steak tartar and the hamburger, which were both really good (especially price quality wise). For the desserts we had the crème brûlée and the French toast, which I’d definitely recommend. We had a bottle of wine which was decent for 34 euros but by googling this the wholesale price was roughly 8-10 euros so this is an okay deal. The staff was really nice even for mwah french speakers. even making some jokes and trying to talk english.

05/04/2026: It was a good experience to eat at why not. The food was well prepared and beautifully presented. The service was a bit stiff and the room a bit cold.
There are different chairs in the restaurant, and some of the chairs are not suitable for sitting on for a few hours.
The price includes a good bottle of champagne, which is part of eating at a restaurant in Épernay.
25/03/2026: Passing through the area, we stumbled upon Why Not by chance. And what a happy coincidence! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is quick and efficient. We opted for the rack of lamb and the steak tartare. The latter was seasoned right in front of us, and it was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best I've ever had. Thank you again.

The menu is small but hints at quality cuisine. And it certainly was, with an excellent dessert.
The waitress suggested a children's menu, more suitable for our daughter, and was very friendly throughout.

12/04/2026: Upon entering, we were initially a little disappointed by the ambiance, as it seemed less inviting than we had expected. However, we were all the more pleasantly surprised by how the evening unfolded.
The food was truly excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was also exceptionally friendly and attentive, so we felt very comfortable by the end.
Overall, a wonderful evening that far exceeded our initial expectations.
12/04/2026: Excellent restaurant with a good selection of seafood and meat dishes. We had a wonderful time. The only downside was the cheese platter: three small pieces of cheese cost €12.50, which was a bit disappointing.

09/04/2026: What a wonderful place. All staff has been incredibly friendly and welcoming to us and our little dog. The food was superb and so was the champagne. Highly recommend doing the tasting if it's offered, this is a rare opportunity to taste some of the absolute best champagne, while meeting the winemakers themselves. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location is also great. Thank you for the most wonderful stay!
08/04/2026: Beautiful restaurant next to Jacques Selosse's winery… simple but very well prepared food… The standout feature is definitely their impressive Champagne list… wow, it's insane… 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾

24/03/2026: Incredible restaurant! Despite its small size, Le Grain de Sel offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. There's no feeling of crowds or pressure, just a pleasant and intimate setting.
The French cuisine is simply excellent: flavorful, well-prepared dishes bursting with taste. A wonderful place to spend a pleasant time enjoying a delicious meal. I highly recommend it!

25/04/2026: Fantastic restaurant, very pleasant, the head waiter was incredibly respectful, as was the team who immediately created a great atmosphere and adapted to the customers' needs. It's one of the restaurants where I've eaten where I truly felt at home. Thank you again! I highly recommend this place. And the food is excellent and delicious. I don't understand who could have negative reviews; they'd be better off staying home.
