19/09/2026: We visited this restaurant in France as a group of four. One of us wanted to try snails, so we decided to come here first, order one portion for our friend, and then go somewhere else for pizza. Unfortunately, the waiter told us that one portion of snails was too small an order for them to serve us and that we had to order something else as well. All four of us were very surprised, as we had never experienced a situation like this before. In the end, we decided not to order anything and left. It makes me wonder: If our friend had come alone, would he have been allowed to order one portion of snails, or would that have been considered too small an order as well? We understand that restaurants have their own rules, but this experience left a very bad impression. I don't recommend a place where customers cannot order what they want without being forced to order additional dishes.

18/09/2026: Best food we had in France on our two week trip! We had the french onion soup (best we've had in our life), duck breast and beef cheek. Amazing. Prices are also very reasonable for the food quality.

18/08/2026: What a lovely little champagne shop! 🥂 I popped in on a whim because the impressive selection of champagnes immediately caught my eye. For the size of the shop, there's a truly astonishing amount of choice – and much of it is in stock. Since we were looking for a bottle to drink right away, I asked about chilled champagnes. The very friendly owner first inquired about our preferences and then recommended a Blanc de Blancs. A perfect recommendation: perfectly chilled, so we could take it with us and enjoy it immediately. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable, and communication in English was also no problem. I especially appreciated the combination of a wide selection, personalized advice, and the option to spontaneously pick up a chilled champagne. Exactly what we were looking for – to buy champagne on a whim, perfectly chilled, and enjoy it right away. We'll definitely be back! 🥂

30/06/2026: A very nice little inn. The owner is very friendly. I didn't see the chef, but dinner was very good. It's a shame there were no pizzas that evening. The rooms are a bit dated, but perfect for an overnight stay. Overall, I recommend this little inn. I will definitely stop by again if I'm ever in the area. Looking forward to it!

24/05/2026: We walked past without having made a reservation, but luckily managed to get the last table. A very warm welcome in a beautiful setting; we enjoyed eating outside in the courtyard. We found the price-quality ratio to be highly recommended. We also had to choose our dessert immediately, but didn't find this a problem at all. We will definitely be back.

From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by a beautiful estate surrounded by lush, manicured gardens that you can tour before making your way to the dining room. The dining room itself is elegant, grand, and reminiscent of a royal residence. Every detail is impeccably maintained, creating an atmosphere that blends modern sophistication with timeless antique charm. Regarding the food, it was equally exceptional. Every course was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Without exception, we finished each plate down to the last bite. The entire evening was thus memorable from start to finish. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a truly special dining experience, and we will certainly be returning. Honorable mentions: Marie was an incredible hostess and made reserving a table very easy and smooth. Also, I have heard incredible things about the Jaques Selosse Initial, and I will definitely be coming back here to try that next time with another incredible dinner.

13/06/2026: Restaurant review. Excellent food, stunning wine list and great service. Effortlessly dealt with our 3 children and their fussy eating. Had the Selosse Rose which was unsurprisingly epic. Food communication over email. Will book again.

I was just disappointed that I wasn't told we would be dining in a noisy room with rather basic decor...on the website I saw this beautiful cellar where I thought we'd have a romantic dinner...it would have been nice to tell us that the cellar would be full and that we would be dining upstairs in a simple room...that would at least have given me the option to confirm...or not.
