01/09/2024: Badly received by the manager, the dish was simply missed (yet a simple carbo) not the slightest word or gesture from the manager for whom apparently it is normal to serve missed dishes as long as it is not inedible! Shameful what

31/08/2024: Repas samedi soir à éviter...nous avons voulu manger leur soit disant véritable pâtes carbonara véritable recette.... Attente importante et déception totale sur le plat! L'oeuf était coagulé ( une omelette) pas le goût de parmesan gras et peu de morceau de viande. Payer presque 22euros pour des pâtes de cette qualité c'est une honte! Remarque faite à la serveuse qui indique donner l'information mais aucun geste commercial de fait! Nous n'avons pas pris de dessert nous sommes partis mécontents mais peu leur importe! Pour eux un de perdu 10 de retrouver ! Mauvaise mentalité nous n'y retournerons plus jamais!!!!

23/08/2024: Room without air conditioning... We warn you when you arrive... With 28 degrees outside it's difficult to rest... and difficult to find a room in the surrounding hotels during a major event. In addition, the sign on the roof indicating hotel restaurant is false... No restaurant... False advertising. Very expensive hotel 80 euros per night for dismal service.

21/08/2024: The room has everything you need to spend the night. But you have to keep in mind that there is heating in the room, but there is no air conditioning. In the summer months it can be hot inside. Otherwise, everything was very good. The staff is very friendly. There are some tables outside the rooms where it is possible to sit and eat something that has been prepared, although I do not know if there is the possibility of heating it, because we brought food that did not need it. The location of the hotel is perfect for traveling: it is close to the highway but in a quiet area in terms of noise.

21/07/2024: Cela fait maintenant plusieurs années que nous nous rendons "Chez Max" chaque fois que nous sommes en Champagne. Accueil toujours aussi chaleureux par Monsieur. Service aux petits soins. Cuisine traditionnelle de grande qualité. Produits frais joliment préparés. Bon rapport qualité/prix. A la prochaine....nous reviendrons !

19/07/2024: Je komt hier niet bij toeval terecht. Hoewel op loopafstand van centrum van Épernay, ligt het restaurantje een beetje uit de route. Ook de buitenkant wekt niet de indruk dat je hier binnengaat in een prima restaurant met traditioneel Franse keuken met veel liefde voor het vak. Wij komen om 19 uur als eersten binnen in restaurant en worden vriendelijk verwelkomd door eigenaar Max. Binnen een half uur zitten beide verdiepingen van het restaurant echter vol. Kaart met traditioneel Franse gerechten. De, door Max aan tafel bereidde, steak tartare is een aanrader (en populair). Prima prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding.

05/08/2024: Un cadeau pour un menu découverte ...2 personnes Très bon moment, de bons plats élaborés ,un joli cadre ... Dommage pour ce menu avec un seul choix d ' entrée ,alors que le menu bistrot en a 3 ! Et vraiment dommage ,notre choix de champagne ,de Chigny les roses, un rosé,que nous n ' avons pas pu terminer au dessert , vraiment très trouble en fin de bouteille ??? La réponse du sommelier disant que c ' était un champagne non filtré ne nous a pas convaincue ... Sommes champenois ,pas touristes ! Il manque un petit plus au niveau du service, Dynamisme et réactivité.

29/07/2024: Restaurant was booked up, so as suggested I asked the staff for a recommendation. Really off hand, couldn't be bothered try the bistro in epernay. Do I need to book? Why don't I drive in to find out. Breakfast way overpriced. Worst croissant I've had in a month in france!

04/11/2024: The Bois Joli restaurant is located on the roadside and has ample parking. If the exterior doesn't look like much, you will be surprised by the classy atmosphere of the interior room. We nevertheless dined on the outdoor terrace which is very pleasant during the summer. We opted for the starter/main course/dessert formula at €59. The dishes are very good and the cooking well executed. The service is quality. I opted for the truffle ravioli, a house specialty and I was not disappointed, it was excellent!

02/08/2024: On the roundabout at the foot of the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay sits this super little bistro. Busy from morning to midnight it’s an affable crowd of locals and tourists. We had super service from a smashing bearded waiter in a cap and would venture the menu choix to be the charcuterie board accompanied by the cheese board. And champagne by the bottle.

30/07/2024: We’ve visited here before last year so decided to give it another try. It’s obviously a very popular bar as tables outside are always at a premium so after a short wait, we we’re finally shown to a table. Service is a bit hit and miss and we waited a good while to order our first drinks so decided we’d order food at the same time. We’d already had a good meal at lunchtime so nothing fancy and ordered croque Monsieurs. Despite ordering everything in my schoolboy French, we didn’t feel the staff really cared much. It’s all a bit frantic and drinks prices are expensive compared to other places. Not sure if we’d return again now that we’ve found other alternatives.

05/09/2024: De ontdekking van 2024. Dus dit jaar weer tweemaal. Wat een verademing, prima menu du jour en prima prijs. Bediening is vriendelijk, zorgt voor water voor de hond. Vast adresje voor ons.

02/09/2024: Sur la route de Verdun, avons déjeuné dans cet établissement qui ne paie pas de mine mais saura satisfaire, en autre, le vacancier de passage. Parking pas très grand mais on trouve sa place.. Façade "vieille France" et accueil très sympathique. Service efficace et souriant. Toilettes sans reproche. Cuisine "limitée", locale (andouillette, pied de cochon...) très correcte à un prix tout doux. Bonne maison tout à fait recommandable. On a bien fait de s'y arrêter!
