31/07/2026: If I could give it -5, I would have. A very unpleasant welcome, you know, when you get the feeling the restaurant owner is doing you a favor by deigning to look at you and let you have lunch there. You can immediately tell they're fed up with receiving "tourists," judging by the signs plastered everywhere with crude pictograms prohibiting eating or drinking at the outdoor tables. However, despite my athletic shorts, cap, and large sunglasses, I'm not a tourist, and I refuse to be spoken to in that tone. Not having arrived with a big appetite, when asked if we were there for lunch, I said I wasn't very hungry and that I might have a starter or share with my friend. Then: a flat refusal. With a rather condescending attitude, no less. Okay, not wanting to make a fuss, I said, no problem, I'll take it to go. Then we ordered two Caesar salads, admittedly very large, but basically just frozen fried chicken, an industrial dressing that was Caesar in name only, and a mountain of bitter curly endive. Great. Then we ordered two Diet Cokes, which I asked for with lemon ice cubes. Once I realized that the lemon slice was charged at 0.50 cm. It used to be a great place, what a shame.

04/08/2026: The waitress's shouting to express her displeasure exasperated us. This is unacceptable in this establishment!

09/08/2026: The food was good, but it's a shame the wines by the glass we ordered weren't. They were between 8 and 10 euros a glass, after all. I think they were natural wines, or perhaps wines without an appellation. Unless you have a politically charged palate. Isn't this how we're increasingly turning consumers away from wine? What a shame.

12/04/2026: Positive points: - Strategic location - Parking - Cleanliness of the premises - The person we found at reception (this wasn't expected because when you arrive after reception hours, there's no one to greet you), was very friendly, pleasant, and polite. - Quiet establishment Negative points: - Very disappointed with the room. When we arrived at the hotel, we had a certain (positive) impression, confirmed by the atmosphere of the reception area on the ground floor, the warm decor, and the cleanliness of the corridors leading to the elevator and therefore to the rooms... but once in the room... the initial enthusiasm quickly faded: the room was very cramped, not very welcoming, and two things in the bathroom particularly irritated us: the doors are made of "glass" with a circled "hole" instead of a handle (both the door leading into the bathroom and the shower stall door). Absolutely impractical, both in terms of privacy (for example, if you book a room but not as a couple) and because it generates splashes and water leaks (the sink is right next to the shower door). The shower itself also had absolutely no water pressure (it was more like a "rain shower," pleasant for some perhaps, but not practical for those who like to be able to adjust the water pressure). - The stairs outside leading to the parking lot are not lit. We left the hotel early, so it was dark outside, and we almost fell down the stairs in the dark with our suitcases at arm's length! - Old-fashioned key system, not a magnetic card. It has old-world charm, certainly, but it's not practical or modern. - The room is outdated and clashes with the rest of the hotel. - We arrived after reception hours (10 pm) and we didn't appreciate the system of leaving the key in an envelope with our name written on it at reception, making it accessible to everyone. In conclusion, €130 is far too expensive for a one-night stay with this type of service (or the lack thereof).

15/02/2026: A very warm welcome and a wonderful stay. Very quiet and spacious.

07/08/2026: The food was decent, but nothing special. The wait was quite long, probably due to an oversight.

07/08/2026: We arrived a little late around lunchtime, but they went out of their way to make us a delicious meal. Thank you for the warm welcome and friendly service.

31/08/2026: Welcoming staff, arrived in the evening and the tenders menu was excellent.

30/08/2026: Dirty restaurant, unfriendly staff, and filthy. The booths and chairs were covered in food and dust, and the tables weren't even cleaned with any product, just a dry cloth. The fries were cold and undercooked, and the hamburger was tiny. Honestly, this restaurant in Châlons-en-Champagne is a place to avoid at all costs; it's truly disgusting.

10/01/2026: Average room. Very small shower and cramped toilet. But satisfactory value for money. Location in a quiet industrial area.

22/01/2026: An excellent experience! The food is homemade, full of flavor and authenticity. The welcome is truly warm, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Even while waiting for the renovations to be completed, the atmosphere remains friendly and welcoming. A place not to be missed; I can't wait to return once everything is finished!

22/08/2026: Food looked well presented. Pastries are amazing and sandwiches.

20/08/2026: If I could give zero stars, the customer service would be awful. The unfriendly brunette woman insults people, calling them rude "because you ask on the phone what you want in their bakery and then hang up before even being served." Avoid this place at all costs. Again, there are ways to say things, especially when ordering multiple items. (And yet, I'm a regular customer and very respectful of the slightly blonde and very kind lady.)

03/10/2025: Comfortable bedding. Friendly staff. Evening meal is a set menu. It's not a buffet, like at other Campanile hotels.

21/07/2026: A truly memorable appearance this past Saturday, July 18th – what a night! The atmosphere was simply incredible from beginning to end. Special mention to the DJ who was absolutely amazing and brought such incredible energy to the dance floor. I sincerely hope to see him again here; the experience was truly unique!
