30/03/2026: What a brilliant find! We came here on our first day in France after seeing a sign on the main road. The staff are wonderful, so kind to our children, kindly spoke to us in English and tolerated our (terrible) attempts at French. Food was wonderful. Definitely a place for us to return to on future trips!

08/05/2026: The place is nice, the complete opposite of the owner, who was already jaded before the season even started? A gruff character, yet not overwhelmed at this time of year, a real shame, perhaps he should change careers?

28/04/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with a beautiful view of the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer. The service was impeccable, but the food lacked originality and was completely basic, for an unjustified price. Regretfully, I would not recommend it.

15/04/2026: Fish and chips and fresh grilled fish, both superbly prepared. The desserts are perfect too. You can go there without hesitation. Everything is delicious, clean, and the service is excellent.

21/05/2026: Everything was perfect 😊: the welcome, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the service, and the quality of the meal. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about wine (especially a fantastic Italian sparkling red). This is my second visit in a short period. The previous time I was on the terrace, which is absolutely superb. Parking is easy, in short, a great place with many positive points 👍.

16/04/2026: As residents of Vannes, we take the train every month. At least three or four times now, we've planned to eat there before our train. Despite the sign indicating that the establishment is open, we've been disappointed to find it closed each time. If you're looking for a place to eat, don't rely on it... It's a shame.

14/05/2026: I picked up two pizzas from the vending machine at the Pont de l'Arz restaurant about 20 minutes ago. I'm writing this review in a rush, so let me explain. It was my first time ordering pizza there, and I got a Cowboy and a Goat, hot, to eat at home. My partner found some plastic under the Cerano ham, so under the toppings. I think it was an oversight, but unfortunately, it's unacceptable. So, for a first impression, it's definitely not a success. Otherwise, despite that, the pizzas are still good, nice and crispy, and delicious! I'm only giving it two stars because of the plastic I found in the pizza; it's truly an unacceptable mistake, and it's disappointing.

14/03/2026: Passing through Baud, we found a very pleasant and charming place with a variety of starters, main courses, and desserts to suit everyone. The person who greeted us was very welcoming and discreet. We highly recommend it.

16/05/2026: This crêperie was recommended on chatgpt, but it was a terrible recommendation! The prices are outrageous, both for the savory and sweet crêpes (€7 for a butter crêpe!). Spending over €60 for two people at a crêperie is ridiculous. And if only the price reflected the quality, but no, the portions felt sloppy because the galettes and crêpes were flipped over the filling. Aside from this, which I've never seen in a crêperie before, the food wasn't good. I absolutely do not recommend it.

28/03/2026: The crepes are really expensive, and I'm not a fan of the upside-down version. I read that they're reheated.... The waitress wasn't very friendly: when I asked for water, she said "mineral or tap water?" which made me feel like a cheapskate who doesn't want to spend money. The owner is nicer. In short, for me, it will be a one-off experience.

21/04/2026: We waited 45 minutes for the menu and for a server to come to our table. Part of our order was forgotten. We ordered a chicken casserole: it was sparsely filled and very average. Finally, at the register, we discovered that the side dish was charged separately, making the price exorbitant for a mediocre meal. And to top it all off, the cashier made a rude remark, without even a goodbye or thank you. A complete disappointment.

08/04/2026: We were very pleased with this restaurant. We received a very warm welcome. I'm not originally from Vannes, but it was a wonderful discovery; it's a refreshing change from the usual restaurants on the port, a very pleasant surprise. The service was very professional and quick, and the two waiters were very kind and friendly. We only came for a drink, but if we could have, we would have stayed for a meal. The dishes looked delicious, and the cocktail was very well made. We can't wait to come back and try their food; I highly recommend it :)

04/05/2026: Monday evening, 7:30 PM. Two phone calls to order pizzas, no answer. "Open" on Google, not in reality.

29/03/2026: A warm welcome, a magnificent panoramic view, and generally well-presented dishes... minus one star because, as others have mentioned, be warned, the crepes are far too overcooked... they should be just golden brown, not dark brown. 😉 We'll gladly return very soon... See you soon!

04/06/2026: A superb 'boozer' in Vannes old town. Great beer garden and a pretty decent selection of draught beers on tap.

24/05/2026: Great atmosphere, but a terrible waitress. An arrogant waitress, convinced she was above the rules. Two friends ordered and paid for two shots and two cocktails. After ignoring them for several minutes, she finally served the cocktails… and deliberately replaced the shots with chili-flavored ones. When we asked her for an explanation, she shamelessly admitted to doing it “out of revenge” because she thought the customers were “too drunk.” Yet, she took the money and served the alcoholic cocktails without any problem. Inconsistent and, above all, irresponsible. The worst part was her attitude: haughty, disdainful, with her “I’ve worked here for eight years, I’ve earned my place” spouting as if that justified everything. Absurd methods, immature and dangerous behavior towards customers. It’s a shame that just one employee is enough to tarnish the image of a bar that could be so much better without this kind of person.

13/04/2026: With our Wonderbox gift voucher, we received a warm welcome and excellent service. Beautiful white tablecloths and beautifully presented dishes. A complete lunch menu for €23. Delicious French toast.

04/03/2026: The setting is beautiful, but the crepes aren't good—too doughy and not crispy enough. Furthermore, the waitresses aren't friendly; I feel like I'm bothering them.

24/02/2026: The service was very good, the setting very nice, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to the rest. The galettes were overcooked and lacked filling (which is all the more disappointing given that the menu outside advertises "Generous").
