29/08/2025: Disappointed, we went to visit the estate, taking care to check the opening days, the site is closed. However, on the regional site and the gîte site, the visits, dates, times and prices are indicated. When we arrived, no one had a simple brown Scotch tape placed over the word visit on some of the signs. No one answered the phone. The place looked nice, I am leaving this review to avoid other people having to travel unnecessarily, but also to alert the owners so that they can make changes to inform the public that the visits are no longer available.

05/04/2026: The welcome was perfect; the owner and the young waitress were very welcoming. The mussels with chorizo ​​were excellent, followed by a perfect crème caramel. The price was very reasonable. A simple but perfect moment when you receive such a warm welcome. Thank you!

30/09/2025: We came to Sauzon from September 19th to 25th to complete the GR. There were four of us hikers and we ate four out of six evenings at this crêperie, where we were unanimously delighted by the quality of the pancakes, the lamb, the crêpes, and more. The welcome was excellent, without fuss but with sincerity. The owner was always attentive and available. The cleanliness is impeccable. We were able to chat with local customers who are regulars at this establishment and very happy to return regularly. We were also outraged by some unjustified reviews, some of which even featured photos that were clearly not taken at this establishment. Don't worry, form your own opinion, and you'll be delighted.

16/03/2026: We discovered this restaurant while passing by, outside of the summer season. The setting is very pleasant and the staff very welcoming. The mussels and fries were well prepared. The desserts were good. No complaints, but it remains to be seen how it is during the summer season when it's much more difficult to manage the crowds.

03/01/2026: A culinary experience I would describe as sumptuous! Located in the heart of Rochefort-en-Terre, this charming little town, the L'Ancolie restaurant offers a truly pleasant and luxurious setting, perfectly in keeping with the establishment's prestige. The meal was simply perfect, with refined flavors that fully justify the excellent value for money for this category of restaurant. The only significant drawback was the wait between courses. We spent nearly five hours at the table, which, despite the quality of the food, might be a bit long for some diners. On a practical note, I appreciated the fact that restaurant vouchers were accepted (at least during my visit in 2023). For parking, plan to use the nearby paid parking lots, as the area is very popular with tourists. This is a must-visit for food lovers, provided you have plenty of time to fully savor the experience.

09/12/2024: I took their red label baguettes several mornings (around 7/8 a.m.) and each time the bread was cold and rubbery. It looks like yesterday's bread... There's a confusion there...

30/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome! The menu was adapted to my dietary needs, the service was quick, the atmosphere was calm, and we enjoyed both of our meals :)

27/10/2025: Delightful little bar. We retired to the first open place on a Lundi, and stayed for 3 drinks and some fries waiting for the ferry. Waiter excellent, good drinks, and very entertaining selection of locals and staff. Would come back to the island just to have a few drinks!

12/03/2026: I ordered a duck parmentier and almost broke a tooth eating it. Avoid at all costs!

12/03/2026: Disastrous food, the dish was straight from the freezer and overcooked, bone dry! For 15.50 bucks, Burger King will do just fine.

06/03/2026: We came for lunch as a group of four and were very disappointed. The mussels were bland, completely tasteless, and the foie gras was equally tasteless. For such simple dishes, it's truly disappointing. The service wasn't up to par either: the waiters barely spoke, making communication difficult. The restaurant was completely empty when we were there, creating a rather oppressive atmosphere. It's a real shame for an establishment that is otherwise very well located. If you're passing through Carnac, avoid it.

20/12/2025: The receptionist was unfriendly, and the room was outdated. The only positive points were the balcony with a sea view and the location. Apart from that, I wouldn't recommend it. It's not worth the price.

06/03/2026: I came to eat at this Flunch on Friday evening, March 6th. The lady at the till, who also helped with the grilled food, ice cream, etc., was incredibly kind. She took the time to explain the dishes to us and even let my son try a flavor of ice cream he hadn't tried before. Thank you to this very professional lady. We had a lovely time.

17/02/2026: The service is very good, however, some dishes are less good than others. Price-wise, it's reasonable if you only order a main course, but if you add a starter, drinks, bread, and dessert, the bill gets quite high. But some dishes are good, and the unlimited vegetables are a nice touch now and then; it's a welcome change from cooking, and it's great when you live alone.
